Wow sis ang galing naman. Binigyan moko ng pag-asa.. ;D hehe..
Sige try ko na sa citibank. Di ka ba nahirapan? may required salary amount ba? sana di naman 50k, kasi sweldo ko di naman aabot dun pero mataas than the usual. Thanks sis.

According to an agent from BDO whom I spoke to about credit cards and loans, naka-hold sila ngayon. Kaya siguro denied yung iba kahit good credit history. My friend is a gold card user sa Citibank, HSBC and I forgot her other card pero 2 months na wala sya walang feedback sa application nya sa BDO pumunta sya sa branch and she was told na approved naman daw sya pero wala pa daw yung card. Tatawagan na lang daw sya.

Anyway, I'm applying for a loan din, first time ko to. Hopefully, ma-approve. Sigh. HSBC is my choice.

dati, bdo was offering promo on personal loans, 0.88% to 0.98% lang interest rate. i was able to avail of one. 50k for 3 years, 0.98% yung rate. matatapos na ako dec of this year. sobrang dali lang ng approval, 2 months payslip lang and IDs ang sinubmit ko. nagsisi nga ako, sana pala ginawa ko na lang 2-year term kasi 0.88% lang. pero ngayon, di na ata sila nag-ooffer ng ganung promo at i heard mahirap na din mag-pa-approve ng loan.

i have another loan naman with standard chartered, 1.25% or something. pero bad trip ako sa agent ng standard chartered (her name is january btw), manloloko. nung una, binigyan nya ako ng maling monthly amortization, mas mababa dun sa totoo para mapapayag nya akong kumuha ng loan. buti na lang yung loan officer na tumawag sakin, vinerify muna lahat ng info at napansin ko na mas malaki yung monthly amortization than sa sinabi nung agent. so i put the application on hold kasi i was given the wrong info. tumawag uli tong si agent and was saying sorry, nagkamali lang daw siya at sana magpush through pa din ako sa loan. i told her to call me back again after a few months.

nov 2009 she was able to convince to avail of the loan kasi sabi nya january pa daw magrereflect sa billing ko. my loan was approved the following week, pero my first billing was dec na agad. i tried to text her bat ganun, pero deadma na sya, unlike nung before na di ko pa kinukuha yung loan, lagi nya akong tinitext at kinakamusta and she even greeted me on my birthday.

i called standard chartered's cs yesterday kasi balak kong ipa-preterminate yung loan. pang 6 months ko pa lang ngayong may,  1 year ko sya dapat babayaran. i wanted to know kung magkano yung difference ng total payment ko. pero lumalabas ng 900+ lang ang matitipid if i will preterminate the loan than if i will continue paying in monthly installments. at nainis pa ako sa cs na kausap ko, medyo bastos. di pa ako tapos magsalita, sumasabat na agad.

after kong mabayaran tong loan ko with standard chartered, ipapaterminate ko na card ko. beware of january of standard chartered smart cash loan, magaling lang mambola pero false info pala ang binibigay.

nagsisi nga ako because around the same time, hsbc was also offering me a loan at 0.98% lang interest. kaya mababa lang kasi yung maximum loan amount kaya mas pinili ko si standard chartered.

Kasi sa mga ads nakikita ko upto 500k daw ang loanable amount na offered nila, but i wonder kung may naapprove sa ganun kataas na loan or kahit 100k lang. Kasi if lower than that amount, madali lang ipunin, sayang ang interest.
 Please share po. Thanks..

sa experience ko sis, usually the maxmimum loanable amount is based on a criteria. with my bdo loan, 2x ng latest salary. with standard chartered and hsbc naman (credit card holder lang ako dito), based sa credit limit: standard chartered was 100% while hsbc 50% of the credit limit.

my biggest loan was 50k with bdo 3 years ago. 25k salary ko nun and medyo matatagalan pa bago ko maipon ang 50k kasi syempre di naman 25k ang take home pay ko tapos may mga gastos din every month. kung mag-iipon ako ng 5k every month, it'll take me 10 months to come up with that amount. i used the money for business, 2k lang monthly ammortization ko coz it's a 3-year term and, after a few months, sa business ko na kinukuha ang pambayad ng loan kasi maliit lang naman at masyadong apektado ang kita.

before when BDO offered the 0.88% personal loan, tied up with our company, i was able to loan 20k while hubby was able to loan 65k
approve pareho since our company will deduct the monthly amortization from our payslip

tapos na ako since i only had it for 18months, while hubby will be finished this december!

wala na yatang ganito kababang interest sa loan... BPI is offering at 1.25%, same with BDO

our coop in the company is offering at 1% only! sarap ng company coop!

^chinatrust and citibank hascthe killer interest. If u compute your total amortization, its double the amount you loaned.

I will never recommend Chinatrust. Sobrang taas ng interest rate. Ok sana ang GE Money kaso tied up with BDO kaya hirap na ang apporval malamang.

i tried to apply sa chinatrust. nashock ako, doble na halos yung loan ko pag compute nila. im looking sana ng for a personal loan na madali ang payment scheme and hindi naman ganun kataas ang interest rate. kakashock. kaya pala ayaw ako bigyan ng details ng agent na nakausap ko, on how much all-in-all yung magiging loan ko, including interest.

HSBC sent me a letter informing me that I am preapproved for a loan maximum amount of 61K this is until July 21 only to decide, this might be a big help in our home improvement or additional funds for our car but hubby and I are still deciding whether to get it or not.

^Sis, the thing is I never applied any Personal Loan from them, this is pre approved loan from them is because I have maintained good credit standing with them. I have never decided yet if we will avail of the loan. I have until July 21, to decide.
