okay naman experience ko with the past 2 loans i had.
the first one was with ge money bank in oct 2008. 0.66% lang yung interest nila for ge employees kaya kinagat ko na. i was able to pay it off in 6 months with no sweat. waived pa nga yata yung processing fee kasi buong proceed talaga nakuha ko.

last oct 2009 naman, nagloan ako sa metro alabang. submitted my documents on a friday. they did the credit investigation on the same day tas may nag-follow up pa the next day (sat morning) sa house namin. then come monday, na-release na yung proceeds. mabilis yon. kelangan nga lang ng collateral. last payment ko na this month.  3 months lang kasi yong timeframe na kinuha ko.

i am eyeing chinatrust naman ngayon. kaya lang i've read from the thread na mataas ang interest. tama ba? sabi kasi sa website nila, 1.49% lang yung interest, 12 months minimum yung ammortization. hindi ba okay na rin yon? parang 2 point something kasi yung sa metro alabang pero di naman ako masyadong nahirapan.

ayoko na sana magloan. kaya lang, tuwing tinitingnan ko mga nasa paligid ko, i always see something that needs to be fixed. ngayon, target ko magpalit ng flooring tsaka magpapa-paint ng car. haaay...

what bank would you recommend? it looks like though na kahit san tayo magloan, parang mataas talaga mga interest.  except for the ge money bank loan of course. sayang they were bought out bu bdo na. kaya imposible na ako magloan uli don.

sis, so far, the ok loans for me are BDO and GE MoneyBank. maliit lang interest. not sure with bdo now kasi i got my loan 2 years ago na at 0.88% lang. matatapos ko na siya this year. yung sa GE ko naman, same rate lang yata, matatapos ko na this month.

I recommend GE money bank, I had my loan with them at hindi mabigat since low interest.

pwede pa ba sa ge? ge kasi ako ngawowork sis. they're not accepting new loan apps now. binili na kasi sila ng BDO. i'm not sure how it works for non-ge employees. try ko mag-inquire later.

I'll try BDO din. I checked the ammortization table online.  Mukhang keri naman sya.

hot lalai ~ I do not recommend Chinatrust at all. They charge really high interest. As high as 1.99%. Grabe!

wala kasing standard chartered sa area namin. sige, research ako about union bank loans...

i'm thinking of applying for a personal loan too, that's why i've been reading alot of banks website. so far i have pending inquiries with PNB and Robinsons Savings Bank. with PNB, the AOR is 1.25% according to the info on their website, that's why i'm asking them if this is fix for all payment terms. comparatively that's low (others 1.38% - 1.70%). as for Robinsons, no interest rate was posted on their site

ako din, personal loan,gamitin ko incase magka-emergency health ng mother ko. baka bigla na naman siyang ma-ospital eh. sa bdo gulat ako [textspeak!] i applied credit card nila, nadeny ako. to think may bpi credit card ako at good payer naman. then nag-check ako website nila for personal loans, kaso baka ma-deny na naman ako.
