« on: September 25, 2009, 07:50:12 am »
hi mga sis!  ;D we'll i have this trouble not so big naman i just need your comments..
is it ok na paminsan minsan lumabas kayo ni hubby at gibihin even if you already have children? kasi si hubby minsan inaaya ako lumabas kasi daw wala naman daw kami time para sa isa't isa kapag nasa bahay kami lalo na pareho kami working so limited talaga time namin.. kaso parang nakokonsensya ako...to think i have two children waiting for me..while me and hubby are having a good time  :-[

   what do you think??  ???

Saka walang yaya ang anak namin, my mom looks after him when we're not around so pagkagaling ng work talagang diretso uwi na kami ni hubby.

Sis, for me if your kids have a nanny and they're older na rin, ok naman na mag date kayo ni hubby mo. I believe it will help in nurturing our relationships with our hubbies.

Hi mga sis, kami ni hubby we make an effort to make time talaga na kami lang dalawa. We believe every couple needs those alone time to nurture your feelings and needs for each other.

The time alone helps to make us closer and feel special again because the sole attention is with each other. Like when you were just starting out.

The kids will not suffer for the few hours a husband and wife spends with each other. In the long run, it will be better for them since the bond between parents become stronger and hubby and you will not vie for attention with the kids because you know that you will have your own time :)

I understand your feelings, sis.  I used to be like you!  The first time we went out for a movie date again after meron na kaming nakuhang yaya, I was thinking of my baby the whole time.  Tapos nagmamadali ako umuwi. hehe.  But eventually, I learned that dapat lang talaga na may time pa ren for "dates" kahit married na and with kids. It's important to keep the fire burning.  It's a form of relaxation na ren for us na we deserve, kasi everyday we go about the daily grind and stress of work, then there's kids to take care pa...isipin nyo  nalng din na it's a form of reward.  I agree with maricar14, magbebenefit nga ang kids if the parents keep a strong, loving hubby-wifey relationship. =)

as long as me nag babantay sa mga bata once you go out. I think it's ok.

i have a friend na they really have a night out/date once every month. it's a way of bonding nila since limited na nga ang time nila sa isat isa once nasa bahay na.

my hubby and i go on a date. and it helps in nurturing the relationship. eat out and shopping ang gusto namin both. then after that, uwi na. Shopping is bonding for us.
My mom looks after my month old baby. Make sure lang na my mom has a pasalubong from us. haha. (suhol.)

ganyan talaga sa una sis, nakakaguilty talaga iwanan ang anak natin pero kelangan talaga natin ng "mommy and daddy time." kame ni hubby we always see to it na mag date every week kahit 2-3 hrs lang. eat out and shopping yung bonding time namin and once a week may spa date din kame pero pumipili kame ng spa na malapit lang sa amin para derecho uwi agad. also pag middle of the week we see to it na may malling day c baby. hilig nya kase talaga mag malling so every wednesday, saturday and/or sunday malling days nya yun and family day/s namin :-)

ok lang yan sis, you really have to find time with your hub alone, for dates. like the old times. then later sa mga kids mo rin...yeah...like you want to go home na agad sa tagal ng movie and eat fast para makauwi agad kay baby. just see to it na your baby is in good hands and syempre walang sakit when you leave her/him..no guilt feelings should follow...have a nice time and enjoy your hubby!

nurturing your relationship will benefit not only yourselves as a couple, but also your kids with you as their parents.

i understand it's hard to justify gimiks without the kids. dilemma ko din yan. in our case, si hubby talaga ang super nakokonsensya when we go out before. we even came to a point that we asked the spa owner where we have our massage and sauna sessions to install a playground at the backyard of the spa so that the kids can play there with the yayas while the parents are inside the spa.

pero after getting spiritual and marriage advice from couples around us, we realized it's not a sin naman to go out on a date sometimes. kasi if you come to think of it, a healthy relationship between you and hubby means a healthy family life na din.

sis, as much as you don't want to but you need it. d ka lang naman mother, you're also a wife. and a wife must commit to some quality time with your husband.

mabanggit ko lang, i dunno if you watched yung movie ni AiAi and Shawi, yung BFF. the reason why John E. left Shawie is because she already forgot how to become a wife. She was focusing always sa children and negosyo.

I know, sometimes you feel guilty pero trust me, the time you will be spending with your husband is most needed by your children.

sis go ahead..you need those dates believe me..before when we're on our baby no.1, seldom na lumabas kami w/o the baby much more magdate kami. our time always revolve around our baby.and when we do go out, laging nagmamadali, stressed and the feeling of guilt andun. and i must say na parang di ako makaconnect sa hubby ko. parang laging sa baby lang usapan namin. parang di na kami friends ni hubby...

then ayun slowly, we learned na kelangan pala namin lumabas as a couple pa rin. dinner dates, movie dates.kahit anong dates.yung feeling na gusto mo syang kasama, gusto ka nyang kasama, nakakaganda ng relasyon mag-asawa.me kilig ulit....nakakapag-usap kayo ng walang mangungulit, nagyaya umuwi at sa fast food lang dapat kakain..in a way, this is the time din para ma-recharge/destressed kayo sa kakulitan ng mga bata and destressed from work or whatever's bugging you.

and everytime we got out, we see to it na me pasalubong sa mga kids, kahit isang pirasong candy lang or anything na request.basta in the end lahat masaya...

Agree to all. Sa pari ko rin narinig yan, na married couples should take some time to be by themselves, and enjoy by themselves because this makes your bond stronger. Wala naman daw mangyayaring masama or it will not have any adverse effect on kids if you leave them for a few hours (make sure lang may kasama sila noh).

The priest also said that children seeing their parents sweet and loving with each other will improve the children's outlook on their future relationships.

So don't feel guilty about it.

We don't have kids yet, I'm a stay-at-home wife...at may 2 dogs kami. Malayo kami sa family namin because of hubby's job. We don't have any househelp. Sometimes, we want to go out to unwind. But we can't just leave our dogs, we're too attached to them kasi sila ang parang anak namin. Weird noh? Kaya kahit paggo-grocery, kasama sila. I mean, we put them together inside a cage so we can leave them inside the car. But of course, naka-aircon sila.

wala pa kong kids but my hubby and i would always talk about this. we want na kahit may kids na kame in the future, we would still spend some time na kame lang. we noticed kase sa ibang couples kahit sa mga relatives namin na they dont get to do such.  i think it's one thing to keep the fire burning.
