OMG!!! i looooooved Episode 16 - the episode that's all about the Mother!!!!!! super looooove!!!

i was not really liking the concept of Season 9 wherein the entire season's timeline is just over the wedding weekend. so Episode 16 (the Mother episode) is the best one for me out of all the other Season 9 episodes combined! i've watched this single episode for four times now! super love!

it's a very clever idea that the writers had to show a "parallel storyline" of the life events of the "Mother" while Ted's stuff was going on. clever! and oh my, sobrang romantic and sentimental nung last scene where the mother was singing "La Vie En Rose" and Ted heard her singing from the next patio. oh my!!! grabe!!

i love Cristin Milioti as the mother. saktong-sakto talaga kasi she really is very musical. and grabe ha, finally narinig ko na rin how the mother makes her breakfast sing showtunes and how she paints robots playing sports! nakakatuwa!!

pero grabe nalungkot ako dun sa storyline about Max. talagang ma-feel mo yun na parang naka-jackpot ka sa isang tao that you thought was "The One" then he suddenly passes away. grabe... na-feel ko talaga. tsaka Max "gets" her quirkiness, unlike Louis. grabe yung scene where the mother saw Max's gift of the ukelele with the note "So your breakfast doesn't need to sing a capella". aaawww...

@meimei, hi sis nice view on episode 16, my brother liked it too, haha as of kanina lang he asked me if napanood ko na daw [textspeak!] last week epi ng how imet, hahah ang cute, ang heartbreaking nga naman yung tungkol kay max, on their anniversary pa ata.. hmmm

^^^ sis meimei, agree, best episode to ng season 9. grabe, nalungkot ako sa ngyari kay Max. lalo nung humihingi si mother ng permiso na kung pwede na ba sya mag move on at mag let go kay Max. awww. sobrang okay din sakin na sya ang mother na napili, bagay! goosebumps ako sa last scene.

pero, kala ko lang kasi si Ted ang first and last ni mother. so, medyo nagulat ako na meron syang the one before na namatay.

si Max, parang si Robin sa buhay ni Ted.

Yung last episode I think he is letting go na talaga.

^ ewan ko sis, pero spinoff daw na different cast na. basta wala ata kahit isa sa main cast ang kasali. i don't know lang if isa sa anak ni Ted eh totoong kasali.

Naku sis, dapat lang ano, series finale na eh. hahaha. few hours nalang bago ang kasal nila ni Barney, anobayan! 8 years na syang in love kay Robin. pero gusto ko yung pinapaliwanag nya yung love nya for Robin kay Jeanette. may punto talaga sya.

sobrang bitin nga yung episode na dedicated kay Mother. although it was really beuatifully done, how they showed her life events parallel to Ted's. kaso sa sobrang ganda nung episode na focused kay Mother, parang i want more!!

grabe at least 4 times ko pinanood yung episode ni mother! tapos mas marami pa yung "La Vie en Rose" ni mother, paulit-ulit talaga! teka, nabanggit na ba ang pangalan ni mother? hindi pa, di ba? hehe...

I'm really loving the mother. Sana more pa about her life in the past.
