we arrived yesterday from our guam trip, tinulugan kami ng tinulugan ni hayley yung hipbone ko parang mahihiwalay na  medyo cry baby siya before take-off inaantok siguro. Gusto pa sila ilipat ng stewardess sa business class kasi umiiyak iyak siya hehe kaso si hubby nahiya wag na daw ok lang daw.

i also brought my birth cert & marriage cert ayoko na kasi ng pabalik balik in case kailanganin pa.

hi sis! my laptop got busted! wasnt able to thank you enough anyway was able to get my baby a passport it took me 1 & a half hour kasi dami nakapila sa FAMILY/MINOR section.  bagong gising pa baby ko sa passport pic nya hihi! thanks again dear! (:

pag dating mo  sa DFA they will validate again if rush or regular.
10days rush, 20days regular processing...excited ako kaya rush na lang hehe

hello everyone! we might travel this coming 26th to xiamen for a vacation with my mom, dad, hubby and baby. he's almost 11 months by then. i've read some of your posts re what to bring etc..

re stroller, is chicco lightway consider as an umbrella stroller? medyo confuse lang ako, how far can we bring the stroller? pwede ba until sa plane? or dapat i-check in?

i read na meron palang sterilizer tablet, so i'll buy those nalang para hindi na bitbit ng sterilizer, and i'll bring yun parang plastic ware na kasya kahit 2 bottle pag naka soak.

sa plane, i'll try to feed him nalang, sana it will work and hindi mag cry, and bring some toys, nappies, clothes, blanket, pillow, milk, water, pwede naman siguro un 2 8oz and 1 3 oz., ipad also to entertain him.

almost lahat ng na read ko is during plane trips, how about your experience in the foreign country? kasi medyo malamig ata sa xiamen now compare sa atin, what should i expect and what should i bring, dapat ba makapal sobra or double suot ni baby.

how about sling? is it helpful, lalo na kung mahirap mag stroller? mayroon ba un kasya si baby ko, kasi si baby is just 10 months, pero matangkad siya, kala ng iba 1 yr or 2 na siya.

ano pa ba need kong dalhin, ow about playpen? is it ok to bring it along? though sanay naman si baby sa big bed, pero atleast pwede ko siyang iwan sa playpen when im busy doing my chores

another thing is the water, ok naman na dun na ako buy ng mga mineral water nila?

pls advice me kung ano need ko gawin or bilhin to minimize our luggage, para naman kahit papano d ako malosyang sa kakahanda ng gamit dun hehe

- avent tempo nurser/playtex drop-ins with disposable liners instead of bringing all the bottles
- are you staying in a hotel? try to ask if they have a crib or playpen that you can borrow (parang hassle naman kasi kung dadalhin mo pa un playpen)
- other than sling you can also use baby carrier. baka mas suitable siya since your baby is big na.

with regards to the tempo, i dont have any idea on how to use it hehe ilan ba need ko bilhin? kasi parang me liners un diba, so i'll buy a lot of liners nalang. 3-5 bottles a day si baby, ilan tempo kaya need ko, and paano yun nipples? i'll bring it separately? kasi paano if after use, hindi pa kami makabalik sa hotel or house? saan naman maganda i-store yun mga nipples? ty

i think pampers & huggies are available naman worldwide. ang toxic naman kasi kung madami kang dadalhin, pero kung maselan si baby better bring your own na lang.

if you buy 1 bottle of avent tempo, it comes with 6pcs of liners. meron available na disposable liners 50 or 100 counts. un playtex, 5pcs un kasamang liners. each liner is good for 1 feeding. when we go out, i put the nipples in a ziploc bag para sterile pa rin. ok na siguro un 2-3 avent bottles, un liners lang naman papalitan mo and nipples every feeding.

Stroller - until boarding pwede mo sya dalhin.. sila na bahala sa stroller pag papasok na kayo mismo sa plane..

Sterilizer - kami we bought the portable sterilizer.. meron din kami Medela Quick Clean Micro-Steam Bags

Sling - baka too tall na si baby mo for a sling.. you can opt for a Baby Bjorn

Playpen - kung vacation naman kayo, kahit hindi na siguro.. pero kami nung umuwi ng pinas for a short vacation, we had to buy a playpen kasi super likot matulog ng baby ko kaya ayaw kong sa bed at baka mahulog.. cheapest playpen binili namin..

Water - mineral water bumibili lang kami whenever we go outside of the country..

You might also want to bring a first aid kit.. hope this helps..

ron's_little_bb, if you are brining Avent Tempo, you can bring as many liners as you want. magaan lang naman yan. tago mo lang sa maleta iba dala ka lang ciguro 8 pcs with you. madami na yun.

as for the teat+body, you can soak/wash it with hot water sa plane/hotel or since may sterilizing tablet ka naman, carry na yun.

i remember dati when we were using the tempo, ganun lang din gamit ko pero i have 3 extra regular avent bottles na dala. just in case. pero the tempo is really very useful and convenient.

yes dala ka toys and wrap mo to sa colored papers. tapos pa open mo kay baby.

wag naman masyadong makapal na damit. ang tama lang. check mo anong temp sa xiamen during your vacay and bring appropriate clothes for him. baka msyadong mabigat ang damit kung makapal at di na din comfy si baby.

sanay ba si baby sa stroller? if so, bring ka na lang stroller. if you are a sling user at comfy ka naman dun, bring mo na din.. pro pag hindi at pag aaralan mo pa lang gamitin yun dun, i think you have to practice now. 

playpen? ilang araw ba kayo dun at san kayo stay? if sa hotel, may cot naman sila usually, you can request. or pwede naman mag share si baby sa inyo sa bed.

water siguro is the most important. bring ka na lang for baby. isama mo na sa bagahe.

lastly, relax and think positive that your trip will be smooth and easy. your instinct being a mom will help you and at the same time isipin mo ang ways din na comfortable ka. kasi pag nahihirapan ka sa dami ng dala nyo, sa dami ng iniisip mo/nyo, baka di mo na din ma enjoy ang trip nyo.

9 days kami dun sa 26th alis and jan 3 na uwi.

ilan tempo sis dala mo, balak ko din magdala ng 3 reg bottles para sa night, small feeding kasi si baby pag gabi sayang naman un liners kung paunti unti lang.

pag sa mall sis, naka stroller siya, hindi ko kaya mag buhat ng matagal, mabigat si baby. hindi pa kami naka try mag sling or carrier, kaya iniisip ko pa kung bibili, kaso baka maya ayaw naman ni baby dun, kaso paano kung pupunta kami sa area na mahirap magdala ng stroller? so buhat to the max? huhu

re sa stroller, so pag pasok sa plane kukunin na nila yun, sa baggage area na ba makuha yun? or pag baba pwede na uli gamitin?

temp, as of this week dun pinakamalamig na yun 10 degree, and 20 un mainit, anong damit kaya dalhin ko mga sis?

i'll try to pack light, yun tipong sachet nalang pag shampoo etc, and as much as possible aya wko din super daming dala kaso, 9 days kami, so mga ilan damit kaya yun?

mga sis, diba baby below 2 yrs old, no pay na sa ticket, ano pang ibang need bayaran? how about un mga taxes and insurance, i've read na may ma-refund, alin yun ma refund?

^^You can also bring thermal underwear para hindi kailangang masyadong makapal yung clothes.  Meron nyan sa Mothercare.  For adults, meron sa Marks & Spencer.  Sa jacket ni baby, mas maganda yung hooded para di na kailangan ng hat.  Don't forget the lotion.

I got my baby a passport and it was scheduled to be delivered Dec 20 (normal processing time) pero I received it 2 weeks in advance.

my baby travelled with his dad for 16 hours in a plane to UK.... hehe... my hubby said its a nightmare cuz he wont stop crying...

everyone tried to help him pacify nothing worked....

first flight ng son ko when he was 2 years old cebupac going to singapore, smooth naman ang travel namiin sa plane, yun nga lang sa lap sya kasi free pa before til 24months. pero ngayon hanggang 23months na lang ang free.

first flight naman ng daughter ko 6 mos old sya, cebupac din going to manila. medyo ngarag kami ni hubby kasi active si daughter at talagang ayaw nya ng nakaupo lang sya kahit na may dala kami mga toys at kung [textspeak!]-ano pang paglilibangan. Good thing is hindi naman sya iyakin, kasi may kasabay din kami na 7 mos baby grabeh nakatayo sila ng mami the whole flight, pag kailangan umupo, iiyak ang baby.
