FIRST FLIGHT NI BABY 2

had a hard time when we flew from Bacolod to Manila last January 8.  While waiting in the pre dep area, baby was ok.  she started crying profusely 30 minutes after take off.  i realized she had colds and for sure didn't know how to handle the pain because of the pressure.

i was so scared that it will happen again so for our Mla - Dvo flight, i requested my nanay and brother to pick us up in Manila.  Good thing baby was feeling better and didn't cry throughout the flight.

we also experienced a hard time during our 45 min flight back to manila last jan 2..

baby, hubby and i were seated 2nd row next to the toilet.. at the back row, there was a 6 mo. old baby boy with his parents.. during the first half of the flight, my baby was so active, trying to pull everything she saw and even drank some milk and juice.. she also tried to play with the baby boy cos he was crying so much..

kung kelan naman palapag na ang plane.. i think that was 15 mins before landing, my baby started to feel uneasy at bored.. she was already walking down the plane aisle.. hubby had to stop her until she cried.. buti nalang nagpahiram ng toy si baby boy kaya tumahan ang girl ko.. hindi naman sya ganyan dati during our flights.. ngayon lang kasi siguro toddler na sya..

for our flight to europe this summer, hubby and i are planning to buy lots of toys na pwede nyang laruin.. kelangan lahat bago at ilabas ko nalang isa isa during flights.. mga 15 hours den siguro flight namen.. dapat di agad sya magsawa sa toys.. i will also ask the pedia about a medicine na pwede nyang inumin para iwas hilo.. ang alam meron non

^ agree kailangan lahat bago. not her usual toy kasi mabilis nyang mapag sawaan.

although an exemption to her pooh bear stuff toy and snow white which she carries most of the time.

baby ko din mega cry nung Dec.17 flight namin to pinas... he has colds kasi.. ayaw magpababa.. kaya karga ko sya for 3hrs sa plane.. super cry talaga sya.. sana good boy sya pag balik nya Singapore.. i'll bring his portable dvd and as suggested, new toys..

^also, dont bring your expensive stroller, just buy a cheap umbrella stroller here.  If you're not getting your baby a separate seat, you can buy a car seat na lang in the US (unless you already made arrangements to borrow a car seat from someone there).  You can also just bring enough food and diapers to last you through the flight (and then some).  Just buy diapers in the US.  Luvs is a good and relatively cheap brand.

^Oo nga sis. wanted sana pull-ups na Luvs kung meron...kaya lang wala. 

We bought the umbrella stroller na rin pala dun sa US ($14 lang naman kasi). What we did was we brought a really old umbrella stroller na sa niece ko pa, then junked it there and bought my daughter a new one.  If matuloy kami sa September, that's what we'll do again...for my 3 yo girl and (now) 5 mo. old boy.  Paano naman in any airline ata they really just throw luggages and strollers. Kitang kita namin how they do it eh. Kaya ayaw namin dalin yung expensive stroller.

sis, gate check naman yung strollers (well puede rin check in...they uually ask you naman).  That means you can choose also if you want them to have it ready for you at your lay over...it will be there at the gate when you disembark.

^better siguro if arranged that before the flight diba. kasi may airlines na papayag siguro yung iba hindi. depende sa kanila.

ako naman, excited na nag aalala din since we'll be going to cebu via cebupac for chinese new year to celebrate it with my in-laws. kami lang ni hubby, my 3yr old toddler na kakulit and my 6month old baby.

yun umbrella chicco type dadalhin namin. kaso once board na sa plane, pinapasok din sa cargo yung stroller. kaya makukuha na lang sya sabay ng check-n baggage. hindi daw pwede na pag labas plane nandun uli.

ill be bringing also my sling since this helps me alot. para hands free and can help hubby with the things and with my eldest as well...

mga sis, what do you usually bring na food pag nag-travel kayo with your kids? will be travelling with my one year old daughter, although this is not the first time. but, now kasi medyo malakas na siya mag-solids, so, parang di siya nabubusog sa mga bottled food, sanay kasi siya sa rice and veggies,any suggestions? thanks!

^^ sis, for sure ang middle name ni baby mo same with your last name di ba? i didnt find any issue naman with this when we travelled. i still have my father's last name on my passport while my baby has her dad. pero kasama din kasi namin dad nya e.

^ same. this is what ive been thinking of din. 3 hours flight to the phils, i need to feed her with rice+ulam. im actually looking for a thermal container. not sure if pwedeng maki - microwave sa eroplano.

How do you handle a 1 year old baby pag 8 hours ang flight? Eh kaming 2 lang and bibiyahe. Input naman po dyan. Baka magwala si baby sa plane, kakahiya.  What do I need to bring?
