Sa Villareals Bahay Kubo (Baler Nipa Hut) yung nabasa ko dati.. try googling it na lang..di ko kasi sure kung ilan ang kayang iaccommodate dun..

Just came back from Baler! Grabe.. Ang sarap! DIY lang kami at sobrang sulit lahat.
Sa Aurora Tourism Office agad ako kumontak at nabigay naman sila agad ng magtotour for us.
Lahat ng requests namin, go lang ng go.. haha! Kaya nagbigay na rin kami ng tip aside from the fixed fee..
Sobrang nag-enjoy ako sa surfing! At first, worried ako kasi baka malunod ako or something since di ako marunong lumangoy.. Yun naman pala, sobrang safe..

Nakakatuwa pa magmotivate yung mga instructors.. hahaha!
Ayun, successful naman!

Sissies, sobrang layo ba ng trek papunta dun sa mother falls? Okay lang kaya if I wear rubber sandals lang like that of Havs flash or kailangan shoes? Punta kami bukas ng Aurora and that's our first stop. I'm not really an outdoor type of girl, kinakabahan ako baka super layo nung falls.

^ Thank you, sis! 'Yung isa kong friend balak niya mag-shoes (as in cloth flats na rubber yung sole) kasi 'yung bf niya daw nung unang punta dun inanod 'yung Ipanema na tsinelas. =))

Hindi kami bati ng Ipanema e, nagagasgas 'yung skin ko dun sa strap, 'di na siya comfy 'pag naglakad ng matagal.

Sana madaming waves bukas! Mas exciting daw surfing sa Baler than in La Union.

^ that's the same sentiment of a friend who based himself in La Union for a month just to develop his surfing skills. And you have ,ore space to move around bec of its long and more leveled shoreline as compared to the shorter and more crowded surfing area in La Union. Ang sarap balikan ng Baler kahit ang layo! Methinks it's possible to restrict expenses to just 2-2.5K even for a 2-day stay then sur to sawa pa. I wonder if anyone here was able to commission an instructor for the entire day, magkano kaya ang charge nila?

^ 1hr bago ako nakatayo sa Baler.

Sa La Union after a couple of tries, ok na.

Ang layo nung mother falls! I slipped pa once and one friend dropped her digicam kasi naipit 'yung paa sa mga bato under the water. Umakyat pa kami sa Ermita, kala ko may something sa taas, simpleng cross pala. Hehe. Pagod na pagod na pagod talaga 'ko, 'di kasi ako siguro sanay sa ganung activities.

how's baler during December-January? hindi naman sobrang lamig? baka lalong nakakasipon na sa mother falls ng time na yun kasi summer pa lang seems malamig na tubig lalo na siguro pag December

pero am excited to go there na and learn to surf!

^^ ok lang yan sis, my batting average was 2 out 20, 2 successful tries out of 20 crashes

ang lakas ng waves the time I tried it. And I think I did better he first day since the water was much more relenting than on my second day. The swells had a lesser frequency and with greater interval around mid noon. Yun lang mainit masyado.

Went to Baler this weekend. Grabe sobrang saya! I went surfing also. taas nga ng alon dito. Sa Bahia de Baler kami nagstay. Highly recommended and first class. Sa talambuhay ko, dun lang ako nagka-sunburn. It's all good!

^Charlie Does, which is affiliated with Bahia de Baler charges P350 per hour. One hour surfing lessons inclusive of surf board and instructor. Swerte lang kami kasi pumayag na i-accomodate kaming dalawa sa 1hour na yun hehe.. pwede ka naman magrequest, since hindi naman namin matatagalan ang tig-1hour na surfing, nakakapagod, but super FUN
