^ sorry sis, but I don't personally buy clothes na pambenta so I don't know how to go about customs formalities for these stuff.. Just giving our other sisses some idea where to source them, based on what I know. Puro personal shopping, food trip and gala lang din ako whenever I'm in BKK.

^ parang wala ako na-notice na tiangge in Mega Bangna. It's a nice and relatively new mall (opened in 2012 lang yata) but I don't think you'd get stuff na pambenta dun.. mall kasi talaga yun e, so stores/boutiques ang meron. Pero andun ang Ikea if gusto mo mag-hoard ng pang-bahay na items. Medyo malayo sya sa city centre, mas malapit na sya sa airport area. Me free shuttle from one BTS station (I forgot the name, pero outside the city center na station na yun. You can check their website, andun yung transportation tips nila). Minsan lang matagal ang hintayan for the shuttle.

Mga gaano ka layo ang IKEA sa Pratunam? Ilang minutes kaya?

^ if commute, allot ka siguro ng travel time na about an hour (to 1.5hrs) one-way. Kasi minsan matagal ang hintayan for the shuttle to/from the BTS station. Tapos medyo mabagal pa magmaneho yung dfiver ng shuttle. Hehe..

Ohhh. Parang IKEA sa KL pala yan. Like yung layo from city mismo to IKEA. If hindi mag shuttle may iba bang way or mahal or hassle?

hi mga sis,  will be in Bangkok tentatively from mon-wed 27-29 Oct,  and me and my husband are planning to buy wholesale and sell retail here in Phils.  okay na dn ba sa pratunam or better if we go to chatuchak market?  how are the choices of clothes and prices in comparison?  thanks sis..

^ pwede ka na sa Platinum Mall, sis. Maganda na ang presyo ng wholesale dun. Baka average diff of thb5-10/pc lang siguro, depends sa item.. Besides, weekends lang ang Chatuchak market (Fri-Sun).

thanks for the reply sis.. question ko lang would Pratunam be better than Platnum mall. nabasa ko kasi if tourist ka they charge u more sa Platinum.  I could rebook pa naman so that we could be there on a weekend..  but we might end up having more options in Pratunam and/or Platinum mall or is it the other way around?  please advise me sis.  what items can be found in those 3 places..  ang focus naman namin would be for resell ng womens clothes. salamat!

For me kasi, Platinum/Pratunam/Chatuchak, almost same lang ang items jan. From my experience in Platinum, meron na sila usually nakapaskil na wholesale price. Then if tingi lang bibilhin, then they'll charge higher of course. Pratunam is an area na kalat-kalat din ang stores/stalls so if the weather is not good (for example, umuulan), better na in Platinum. At least indoor.

Chatuchak naman, honestly napapagod ako dun kasi anlaki ng place, madami tao, etc. And ganun din, if hindi ok ang weather, hassle din esp since medyo outside the city na to. Sasadyain talaga. But if you think you'll buy A LOT to resell, then go to Chatuchak. But if saktong dami lang, Platinum na lang.

Or, pwedeng when you get there in BKK, set aside half-day to scout Pratunam Market and Platinum Mall (they're almost same area, anyway). Then if di ka satisfied, go to Chatuchak. At least, you'll see for yourself what's available..
