sa pratunam merong nagbebenta sa daan as early as 5AM nag iba iba yun. mas gusto ko yung items pag early morning. buti na lang malapit yung budacco sa tiangge kaya pagka gising, toothbrush and hilamos na lang muna

was able to buy blouses as low as 50thb from pratunam. majority of what i bought was for 120thb. for dresses, there were 500-650thb pero good quality na.

Hi!  I am planning at trip to Bangkok and saw this thread...naku I am plus size.  Sis if any of you know stores in MBK, or mga mall sa Bangkok that offer Plus Size...please share.  Going with my Titas who are not a size XS.  Sana naman mayroon sa Bangkok Plus size.  Please share

I plan to shop sa Bangkok for my own clothes, yung iba pangreregalo sa mga tao sa Pasko. Pero mostly, para sakin lang talaga. Strict ba ang customs?

I'll be in Bangkok end of the month. I'll definitely shop in Platinum The clothes they sell there is really updated. Mostly ginagaya nila sa fashion magazines kaya maganda style at design. Mas makakamura ka if you buy 2-3 pcs ganun sa kanila malaki difference kung isang piraso lang bibilhin mo. About customs, tyempuhan din sis. Minsan strict sila minsan hindi but if magpapasko medyo madalas sila mag-inspect.

can anyone help me please.. i have a flight for BKK on Nov.. and yet wala pa ako hotel.. can anyone suggests please kung anung hotel ang maganda near sa pratunam? naghahanap ako sa online pero no idea kung alin dun ang mura lang at maganda naman kahit papanu..

^ Sis maraming hotels near Pratunam but I chose Link Corner Hostel kasi mura, malinis, at bago.

From the airport, sakay ka ng Airport Rail Link (ARL), tapos baba ka Ratchaprarop station. Less than one minute of walking, nasa hostel ka na. Convenient talaga pagdating mo at lalo na pag babalik ka na ng airport na may dalang marami kasi isang tumbling lang nasa ARL ka na.

For Pratunam shopping, lakad ka lang ng straight mga 500 meters from the hostel, dun na start ng maraming maraming stalls. Dikit dikit na yun mga stores dub. Paguwi, same way pa rin ang lakad. Pag marami kang dala, sakay ka lang ng taxi, straight lang, walang liko liko. Shouldn't take more than 40 baht from the Pratunam area to the hostel.

there's a budget shopping place near baiyoke sky hotel..halos parang divisoria sya but way cleaner & safer. accessories heaven yung ibang stalls..it's a must visit,imo since matibay yung mga accessories dun & unique ang mga designs i was able to score a stingray wallet din,since most of the stalls sell authentic leather goods..may mga snakeskin & crocodile leather goods..yun nga lang,brand-less pero good quality.

Just hoarded dresses from Platinum, Chatuchak (cheaper here) and MBK last month! Haha. Ang saya. Although feeling ko nung pag-uwi ko kulang pa pinamili ko. hehe! Medyo nahirapan lang ako sa shoes kasi anliit ng paa ko.

I have yet to go to MBK and Siam Square. Was way too tired on the last day.

I found Pratunam Market too chaotic. The Chatuchak Market, I wasn't able to go there as we went there during a weekday.

The Platinum Mall was so good. Things were slightly more expensive but then again you are paying for less chaos and cleaner surroundings.

sobrang mura sa Chatuchak market especially yung mga nasa side talaga ng road malapit dun sa mrt station.. may mga 50baht akong nakita nun na tops and shorts

Mga sis yung wholesale sa pratunam pala pwede magcombine ng styles... nalaman ko lang nung sinabi sakin nung isang tindera sa loob nung airconditioned building. Sayang nga eh may mga binili ako na same styles diff colors. Pansin ko dun ang susungit nung mga tindera. haha. pero ok lang mura naman
