i checked our application status on the CIC website, it says IN PROCESS. ano kaya meaning nun? dipa kasi kami kinokontak ng agent namin. basta ang advice kasi wag tatawag for follow up kasi sila naman ang mag inform samin ng mga pangyayari. what do i need to expect sa IN PROCESS na status? thanks...

^nirereview pa din yun files mo, yun lang ibig sabihin non sis. It will stay in "IN PROCESS" state until the day they call you. Minsan pagkareceive na pagkareceive mo ng papers mo, don lang magchichange yung status.

I have some questions sa mga canadian citizens or residents na nagsponsor ng parents nila from the philippines, how long ba yung process? From their website around 21 to 25 months daw. A friend of mine said 6 months. I'm confused. And can they still come here in canada as a tourist, kahit may return ticket naman sila, while waiting sa process? Wala naman ako balak na gawin sila TNT but I want them to come kasi here at least every yr.  Please help

my bf is in canada as well.. kakamigrate niya lang last july. plan niya umuwi august next year, so we can get married, nakakaloka ang LDR . gaano katagal ba usually ang application for spousal visa?

i agree kakaloka LDR hahhaa. Anyway, spousal visa will range from 5 to 8 months pag walang problem sa medical. Yung sa akin 5 months.

di rin naman pala totoo yung 1 year nalang ang processing.. samin kasi one year na this may. waiting pa din... hehe! hopefully the waiting is all worth it.

^kelan ba mag one year yung processing nong sa inyo? usually they're right on their sched, if May 20 ang one yr nong sa inyo, you'll receive it anytime soon just hang in there and goodluck!

may 2009 kami nag start, june na receive namin yung letter from canada asking for the required documents (yun yung you have 120 days to provide). october 2009 we submitted the documents, until now wala pa result. ang di ko lang sure kung saan yung start ng counting ko for one year. pero its OK as long as positive ang lahat.

My husband is working in Alberta 1yr na siya ngayong June..Sabe nya saken dapat mapromote daw muna siya as supervisor bago nya kame makuha..kase dapat daw skilled..yung pinsan niya nagsuggest na hingi kame ng help sa utol ng husband ko who's already an immigrant na siya ang magsponsor samen thru stream..not sure kung [textspeak!] ba yun..puwede makahingi ng info?is that possible?or si hubby lang talaga puwedeng kumuha samen..

Kmusta naman ang employment sa Canada ? especially sa Vancouver ? Meron [textspeak!] kami immigration application dyan, png 5th year n namin this year..

medyo nagdadalawang isip  [textspeak!] sya bka wlang makuhang work (architect husband ko) or need to start from scratch ulit...ok na kasi sya sa present company nya..the only problem [textspeak!] is the language barrier..which nahihirapan kmi ng anak ko...
 
pero kmi ng anak ko gusto canada... hay... pls advise...

^i don't know sa ibang province ha, pero dito kasi sa quebec, you really have to start from scratch, especially sa profession nya. I believe he needs to take some courses. Or try nya magpaevaluate agad malay mo licensure lang kelangan nya. But in general, dito sa canada, swerte mo na lang kung makakuha ka ng work na in line sa profession mo. Kung di ka mapili, di ka mahihirapan maghanap ng work kasi madami naman opening. Pero wag mo nga lang aasahan na makukuha mo agad yung gusto mong salary.

but if you're thinking about your kid and the type of environment that you want her to be in, your best bet is Canada.

Hello Sis, matanong ko lang kung direct ba kayo nag apply or through an agency like CIC? kinabahan ako bigla sa sharing mo kasi we just submitted our final papers for visa na but we are expecting so much to have it before or after Oct.this year. we are even settling our minds to land in Canada by October kasi sabi ng agent namin 6months ang maximum ng paghihintay pero some recieved their visa after 2-3 months average... Hindi kaya masyadong nang matagal ang pagaantay nyo if you are under the fast tracking program of Canada Immigration ng 6months-1 year? mejo nag lapse na kayo sa 1 year kasi..have u tried following it up? baka may documents kayong di naibigay or what? Naku dapat pala di ako mag expect na by October is makakaalis na kami..kasi sa mga friends ko na nag immigrate most of them talagang 6months - 1 year ang processing.. Good lUck sa atin sis

Sis, if u don't mind, what is the name of the agency? Have u tried asking some of your friends who applied in the same agency kung pano ang pacing ng application nila? Kung almost the same kayo wala ka dapat pangamba...Kung October 2009 kayo nag sumbit ng final papers ang maximun is dapat daw meron na medical nyo by April 2010, ..but good sis coz you are positive about it.. saan pala ang destination ninyo? if it is fine w/ you, ano bale ang job title nung principal applicant ninyo? Balitaan tayo kasi.. kasasabmit lang din namin final papers namin for visa na

share ko lang yung saken para makita nyo yung timeline. btw, my application is under provincial nominee.. I dont have an agency as consultant.. Kami kami lang ng mga cousins ko, tulungan lang.

My aunt submitted my documents in Manitoba last Feb 2008. Nomination was approved last Oct 2009, I received their letter first week ng Nov and they requested to send the documents to Canadian Embassy in Makati.
Since, maraming docs and I need to renew pa my passport, nakapagpass ako Jan 30, 2010. They start processing my application Feb 4 as per their website. Then yung medical request nila dumating Feb 15, nagpamedical ako Feb 20. As per Timbol clinic, March 12 nila na endorse ang results ng medical ko. Then after 2 months, May 12 I received  na yung passport request thru email. Sana next week, asaken na yung passport with visa ko. Plan ko umalis mid july...
