it was my first time to insert neo-penotran last night. i didn't feel anything. malamig lang inside, pero walang hapdi whatsoever. then this morning, when i peed, may lumabas from my vagina na white. it looks like it's just the neo-penotran, pero melted.

is this what i should expect? did i do it right? sayang kasi ang mahal pa naman nun if i'm doing it wrong pala. help, girls. first time ko to use vaginal suppository.

After inserting the suppository into your cervix or vaginal canal, lagyan mo ng pillow under your buttocks sis para medyo nakaangat ang pelvic mo let the supp slide in and melt inside. Baka ang nangyari was you inserted it tama naman pero di na masyado nakapasok sa inner part ng cervix ang suppository kaya while you were sleeping baka nagslide out ito and nalabas mo na ang melted suppository.

^ I followed your pillow advice, thanks! It was my 2nd night last night, pero ganun pa rin. It did not slide out while i was sleeping. After i peed this morning, i remained seated on the toilet and made an effort to push it out by contracting my muscles. Mali ba yun? When i looked at the bowl, i saw white discharge -- i'm not sure if it was just the melted suppository, or my foul-smelling discharge (i have BV; the discharge looks like cottage cheese but not as sticky), or a mix of both.

Girls, what kind of "discharge" should i expect the day after inserting vaginal suppository? Should it smell really bad?

hi mga sis! it was my first time kanina to put suppository around 9 pm then put 2 pillows under my feet then yung position ko matulog is naka sideways sa right side ko.i made sure na nag napkin ako, yung pang night kasi sabi ng doctor ko magwawater daw ako, then nagising ako ng around 2 am, kasi i went to pee..when im peeing, cover ko lang ng hands ko yung vajayjay ko baka kasi lumabas yung suppositor, but then wala naman, i guess nag melt na agad un..hindi rin mahapdi nung nag wiwi ako unlike a couple of days ago :p

hi! nung naglagay kayo ng suppository, na-try niyo ba tumagilid ng natutulog? di pa tumatapon yung gamot?

buntis kasi ako, 35 weeks na. kaya lang kailangan ko maglagay nito kasi may discharge ako. nahihirapan akong matulog ng nakatihaya eh. di ko naman ma-try na tumagilid kasi baka masayang lang ang gamot.

Ah okay na yan sis. Nakapasok na ang vaginal suppository sa loob na mismo ng cervix mo niyan.
May mga konti kasi an nagmelt sa labas yan yung tumulo sayo when you peed sa morning.
Okay ka yan sis pasok na ang suppository.
Nope sis yung mga nagmelt, wag mo na ipilit na ipasok ulit sa vagina, just let it be na lang. It has done its purpose na. From what I have experiences before, nope wala naman any foul smell while inserting the suppository just make sure na you have clean hands before and after your insert the suppository. Kasi papasok half way sa cervix mo ang hands mo.

Yup sis you did it right naman. Minsan kasi you just “feel” like the suppository will fall off pero nope okay na yan lalo na you were propped up a pillow a few hours na rin.

Oo sis minsan the BV recurs after you have finished using all your supp.
Yes sis you can buy naman ata Gynomax without prescription. Ano generic name niya sis? Yup that is new. Try mo. Kasi I know na I can buy albothyl supp from mercury without prescription. You can buy like 3 more pieces until feeling mo na ok na ok ka na, para just to make sure.

When you feel okay na then after sexual contact eh it comes back again, sabay na kayo ni bf magpatest and go to the ob.

You can always ask for a second opinion. But when you feel your ob is ok din naman then no need to change ob naman just get a second opinion.

Nope sis I do not sleep na tagilid kasi nagmemelt palabas ang supp. But if that feels okay for you you can do it naman sis.
Just prop yourself up sa pelvic with a pillow sis.  Basta di lumabas ang supp.

Thanks Sis. I'll try to buy another Gynomax na lang without my OB's prescription. Pagka kasi humingi ulit ako ng prescription I'll pay na naman just for the prescription lang. Nakalimutan ko na sis generic name ng Gynomax. Di ko na makita lagayan ng dati kung binili. Nakalagay sa OB's prescription ko sa una kung bili is Gynomax supp ovule lang.

Sabi ng OB ko sis BV daw is not sexually transmitted. Na disturb lang daw ang natural PH level down there. Wala daw kinalaman bf ko. She advised me to use feminine wash. Lactacyd or PH care daw at gumamit daw ako everyday. Pero based sa nabasa kung thread about feminine wash, hindi daw dapat gamitin everyday. Na confuse na tuloy ako. Sabi ng OB ko everyday daw. Sabi naman ng OB ng iba nating mga sis dapat minimal use lang. Naisip ko kung hindi dahil sa contact kaya di nawawala discharge ko, dahil ba ito sa nasobrahan ako sa gamit ng vaginal wash? or it is beacuse sa pills na ginagamit ko?

my bad. i had intercourse with my boyfriend on my 6th day of taking suppository. so hindi ako naglagay that night, and resumed nalang the next night. i finished all of the 7 suppositories. i had my period rin after that.

but now, i smell something. slight lang yung amoy, but i think it's coming back. mino-monitor ko pa.

if it the smell/discharge does come back, can i take 7 suppositories again? even without consulting with the ob? mahal ng consultation e.. and i promise this time i'll take it 7 days straight, no sex.

sayang sis on the last supp ka na sana...I suggest go back to ob ka na muna kasi marami-rami na rin supp mo baka kasi ma-immune (if there is such word) na ang vaginal flora pag pauli-ulit ang same supp. Like antibiotics kasi yan, kaya yung iba di na nagwowork.

Sis it means na the suppository was not inserted well into the vaginal canal and into the cervix. Sis after inserting the suppository into the cervix na talaga (make sure sa cervix talaga sis, you will know kasi you feel warmth sa loob) maglagay ka ng mga 2 pillows under your buttocks para ma-angat ang pelvic area mo. Para di lumabas or magslide out ang supp. Pag feeling mo okay na pasok na at di na nahuhulog ang supp, pwede mo na kunin ang pillow.

sis natawa naman ako sa sinabi mo na ang secretary ang naginterpret sa results pero pinagbayad ka pa rin ng PF. Who is your ob sis? Grabe naman walang time  to even read the results of her patients and nagpapabayad pa.
Anyway sis, yes albothyl suppository yan OTC din yan for bacterial vaginosis and other vaginal inflammation.
Nope sis it is taken 1 suppository every other night for 7 days. Pag per week baka wala na yan effect sis.
Take it religiously na walang mintis after ka magmens.

hi po sa inyo lahat mga sis... in my case, more than 2 weeks na po akong nakaka experience ng pangangati as in kati na halos di na po ako makatulog sa gabi at may difficulty din ako sa pag pee. masakit na masakit sa huli... i had my pap smear last tuesday pero sabi ng ob ko balik ako after a week for the result so tuesday pa yun... upon checking po may v areas  may nakita daw po cya na something sa loob na dapat ko daw ipa biopsy di pa niya ako binigyan ng gamot sa pangangati kasi kelangan daw akong bumalik kinabukasan para ibiopsy kung ano man ang nakita niya.. kaso pinapahanda niya ako ng 7k for the biopsy alone and if ever positive yungresult kelangan daw po alisin at nangangailangan ng 20k pataas...kaso nagdadalawang isip ako and i think before ako mag pa biopsy eh matingnan muna ng ibang ob for 2nd opinion kasi nasa probinsya ako tapos di naman po natin maidedeny na kulang2 ang gamit sa ospital dito so kelangan ko pang mangibang bayan. kaya di ako bumalik kinabukasan. kaso walang gamot na ibinigay for pangangati... nag try na ako ng albothyl for 3 days meron pa rin pero di na gaano... sis, baka pwede niyo po akong matulungan if kelangan ko pang ipag patuloy ang pagamit nun or stop ko muna since walang pahintulot ng ob ko. nag seself medicate lang ako base sa mga sabi2 ng mga ka officemate ko na may karanasan din sa v itching. pls sis.... first time ko po ito kelangan ko po ng tulong niyo... salamat po...

mejo nairita nga ako kasi,di ba dapat kausapin ako ng ob but since may period ako hindi nya ako inentertain. parang ayoko na bumalik sa kanya,hanap na lang siguro ulit ako ng ibang ob. thanks sa info kung pano gagawin sa albothyl na yun sis. first time ko nag pa PS ,so wala talaga ako idea sa kahit anong result.  thanks

Good luck sis. Yup you can always find a new ob yung magentertain sayo and will always find time for you. Take medications din sis before lumala ang infection.

Your ob seems to not take the time to clearly explain to you kung ano man ang nakita niya syo?
How did she know na may nakita siya sayo? When wala pa ang papsmere results mo? Or did she did an IE lang? Ask her all your questions para alam mo, hindi yung pagbabayarin ka lang ng malaking pera and you have no idea anon a ginagawa sayo or ano condition mo.
I suggest do no self medicate muna sis, consult muna your ob or another ob.

^ push the suppository as much as you can & make sure you're ready to sleep na pag naglagay ka sa gabi yung hindi ka na tatayo para di sya mag slide pababa.

Sis, just push the vaginal suppository, until parang automatic na parang kinakain na or sina-suck na ng cervix or inner vaginal cavity mo yung suppository.  Ang trick doon is place pillows sa ilalim ng pelvic mo for a few minutes or hours until feeling mo nagmelt na siya sa loob and di na lumalabas.
Kaya it is always recommended to place the suppository at bedtime.
