just want to share my opinion sa mga foodcarts na mabenta and worth of your investments, pansin ko lang, ang mga hits are
siomai house, hotdog carts (tender juicy or sam swift), hongkong style noodles, zagu, potato products na carts, soft serve ice cream)
you won't find a 2nd hand siomai house food cart being sold anywhere, ganun sya kabenta, mahal ang initial start up, pero mabilis naman ang ROI, unlike the filtrep franchises and mga clones nito, yung may ari lang ang kumikita usually,i hope hinde magalit mga agents saken if they've read this, but that's the truth, there are a lot of 2nd hand foodcarts by filtrep being sold in Sulit website. I was able to buy pinoy pao and jacks eatballs foodcarts, 2 carts na yun for just 8k, would you believe that, i don't personally know the person i've bought it from, nakita ko lang sa sulit ads.
others are being sold as low as 7k per cart. Good thing about these carts is that they are collapsible and can fit sa taxi so it's good for rent a party cart type, and that's how i used both of those carts. and not as pinoy pao or jacks eataballs.
I also plan na ilagay lang sila sa tapat ng house namin tuwing hapon starting november pag pasukan na ulet ng mga students, so atleast walang bayad na rent, and i plan to sell hotdogs, fishball, etc, all around cart na sya. Yung cart lang talaga habol ko dun.
It would take a lot of effort and diskarte para mapalago ang mga filtrep franchise, sad to say hinde sila masyado tinatangkilik ng tao. a friend of mine has a filtrep franchise and it folded after just a month, aside sa lugi sya, eh wala sya kasing tyaga din.
For those looking for a foodcart lang, try nyo sa Sulit, andami dun 2nd hand some are just a few months old and some kahit years old na eh, hinde naman nagamit, same reason nila usually for selling them, no time to handle the business, when in fact, kahit wala ka naman time to handle such if kumikita naman talaga eh you'll find time to continue such business, hinde lang kasi talaga malakas ang benta.
Mahal kung papa customize kayo ng brand new cart na matibay. don't be fooled dun sa mga murang customized carts na worth as low as 6k daw, those are just PVC type na pang promotional ginagamit, mura lang yun, nasa 3k approx lang talaga yung blank type nun.
