How to start a food cart business
« Reply #11 on: September 28, 2010, 05:35:56 pm »
Mga sis help naman
kasi plan ko magput up ng food kart
sa plaza ko lang balak

magtitinda ng mga ready to eat snack like hotdog and sago
and little by little dadagdagan ko ang mga products
depende kung mag click

nag oopisina ako so i need makakuha ng magbabantay
tyak na malaking challenge to sa akin pag nagkataon kasi sa alabang ako nagwowork (nagboboarding house ako) at sa indang cavite naman ako nakatira talaga (in between trece martirez and tagaytay ang indang), 2-3hours ang travel time ko (one-way)
so if ever mag materialize itong food cart ko, i need to go home everyday
ang dream ko nga sana maging super successful ito to the point na di na ko mag oopisina (parang malabo  :-[ )
but still plan ko itong simulan na para naman may konting sideline kahit papano

ano ano dapat iconsider when putting up your own food kart?
masa ang target namin so about 5-20 Php lang ang presyo
para abot kaya

thanks in advance mga sisses!    ::)

hi sis!!! [textspeak!] putting up a business kailangan [textspeak!] ka muna sa gusto mung gawin...dapat gusto mu [textspeak!] produkto para kung sakaling d maganda ang results e d sayang kc map2kinabangan mu pa...madami kang dapat iconsider...lalo nagwowork ka...kc it requires a lot of ur time, resources and ability to stay focus khet parang feeling mu e pagod kn...in terms of business dapat maganda location mu...minsan kc akala lanng nten e maganda kc madami tyong naki2tang tao na dumadaan un pla [textspeak!] "dumadaan" lang...mababa ang buying signals...pag aralan mu muna din kung anu2 ba ang needs dun sa lugar na un ex. bka magtayo ka ng sago gulaman pero class A and B pla mga tao dun....medyo magiging off...sa produkto nman dapat meron kang supplier na bultuhan ang pagkuha kc mura un...take note dapat hindi lang 1 ang supplier mu kc bka pag d available [textspeak!] produkto kanila e [textspeak!] ka ng mabenta....sa taong magbabantay nman....lahat tayo gusto ng mapagkakatiwalaan pero sa unang sabak mu dyan i suggest na ikaw mismo ang magbantay [textspeak!] ng tao mu na kukuhanin pra mapag aralan mu muna takbo ng negosyo....i've done that before kc working din ako...at sobrang hirap....

and lastly,u need a lot of commitment pra sa ikagaganda ng negosyo mu...just a little advice sis...gudlak sa business mu...stay focus.. ;)

sis, great idea yan. i was into this type of business din before, but the location that i got at that time is not so good. nasa kalsada lang kasi ako nag lagay, infront of our wrs. with regards to the supplier, i can share naman, just shoot me a pm.

if you are going to start, you may want to invest on a stainless steel foodcart. meron mabibili na second hand sa mga online buyandsell website. you can haggle and get a good deal. don't try to get wooden, kasi magpapalit ka rin in the future. average price of the foodcart ss is around 15k. invest on other utensil also.

try to list of the product you want to sell, and the list of items you need. and buy the lot at divisoria to haggle for price.

good luck!

sis, outdoor yung pwesto ko. target market is students, hs and elem. kaya yung balak ko mura lang. meron kasi ako nakita sa starmall swift hotdog. regular is 7 pesos, 15 pesos sandwich na. im thinking of the same concept.
