^Sis, yung sa husband ko na-cover lahat ng Maxicare and PhilHealth yung hospital bill sa Medical City amounting to 120K for almost 4 days. Lahat lahat na yan kasama nung sa emergency room palang.

I think depende sa MBL na cover ng company niyo. Sa company kasi namin 400K ang MBL per disease so di ako masyado kinabahan. Pero tumawag muna ako sa Maxicare mismo regarding sa coverage namin before ako pumili ng room, deluxe private ata yung room namin.

Thank you for your reply. Hmm. Kasama na din po dun yung payment ng surgeon at anesthesiologist sa kinover ng Maxicare? Mag inquire na lang po ako sa costumer hotline nila. Kasi 100K lang ata yung coverage ng partner ko.

Hi guys, I had a gall stone  as seen on my ultrasound  a week ago and the doctor told me it's too big like 33mm or 3.3cm and I need an operation as soon as possible. The doctor told me the cost for lap will be ranging 70-80t at ward accommodation at Bernardino Gen Hosp then less 30,000 from Philhealth. Can you please suggest a hospital here in MM with lower cost but great facilities. Thanks & looking forward

^^ Yes sis kasama na, yan na mismo yung total bill namin. Tawag ka muna sa Maxicare para sure. Mas makakamura ka pa siguro niyan depende sa room na kukunin niyo. Mas mahal ang room, mahal din yung expenses like medicines.

Hi guys, sa wakas nakapag lap chole na rin ako sa 33mm kong gallstone. Currently at my room here in St. Lukes qc at nagpapagaling na. Procedure is easy and you can't feel anything kasi tulog during sa operation though pag gising medyo may masakit kang maramdaman but they will manage it with pain reliever. Thanks God for the successful operation.

Hello, share ko po yung sa akin, nagpacheck up ako sa dr. Kasi sumakit yung puson ko at nagbleed ako ng 2 weeks, then yung dr. Suggested general ultrasound ng upper and lower abdomen kaya nakita na may polyps ako sa gallbladder, asymptomatic siya, 1st ultrasound 4mm, after 3 months naging 5mm then after 6 months naging 7mm , few polyps meron ako, so under observation ako at ang sabi pag abot 10mm na removal of gallbladder na raw, pero naisip ko na bakit ko pa paabutin sa 10mm kaya gusto ko na sana ipatanggal pero sabi ng dr. Wag raw muna kasi baka raw hindi na lumaki...kya naguguluhan ako ayaw ko pa naman magpaopera nag iisa sa ibang bansa. Pag sa pinas ko naman ipatanggal malaki magagastos ko lalo pa't wala ako insurance. Sino po dito may gallbladder polyps experience?

Same  query sis, baka me iba kayong alam na nakapag pa opera sa mga Public Hospitals kasi wala naman insurance mother ko. Yung tita ko kasi sa Quirino Mem Med Center, 60K less philhealth na. Sana me mas mababa pa kasi ako lang ang mag shoulder nun, loan ko pa    thanks!

I first encountered laproscopy during my visit with dr. Alfie rojas. From what I know mas precise ang procedure na ito since less hiwa.

If you live near or in pasig, highly recommended alfonso clinic in mercedes or malinao. Dr. Alfonso surgeon. He can do the operation in TMC but if you're in a tight budget or wouldn't want to shell out more money than you have to (coz of no insurance), he can do the operation in st. Martin de pores charity hospital in san juan. 36k, half covered by phil health so i only had to shell out 18k for a successful operation. But that was in 2011. HTH

^^ Yung sa husband ko almost two weeks siya naka-leave from work after operation. Wala naman ako nakitang effects sa kanya, basta advise ng doc ingat sa pagkain ng fatty foods. Emergency case pero naka ilang gallstones attack na siya before ng operation niya. 4 stones nakuha sa kanya ang his gallbladder was also removed.
