Saludo ako sa buwis buhay na report ni atom! Hindi katangahan ang tawag sa ginawa nya. Yun ang totoong serbisyong publiko. Isinakrispisyo ang sarili makapaghatid lang ng balita at buti na lang ok naman si crush! Grabe nakakabilib talaga sya and at the same time nakakakilig ang kagwapuhan nya! Ang hot lang ng dating 

I edited my post matapos kong mabackread ang previous page. Hahaha! Sis manhattanite and i has almost exactly the same ideas. Hahaha. Mantakin mo yon, parehong pareho pero medyo kulng yung akin. Hahaha. Wala lang naman. Hihi. Nashare lang!

Basta ang gwapo talaga ni atom, very true na matalino and you're all rifht girls na its his passion that put him there at di na nya kelangan magpapansin. And what about the issue of sharon with regards to him? Si zen ba eh gf nya? Tsismosa lang eh noh. Hahha.

ang daming humanga sa ginawa ni atom. i was the only one lang ata who thought what he did was really stupid. nagmukha siyang t**** sa ginawa nya sa totoo lang. was it his idea? or utos ng abs? passion? or para lang mapagusapan? kaya naman makunan ng camera yun paligid eh, yun pag report nya sa labas hindi necessary sa totoo lang. pwede naman sa loob na lang ng building o ano, somewhere where it is safe. what if may nangyari sa kanya, i'm sure lahat ng tao ang abs cbn ang sisihin, for putting their reporters lives at risk (kesyo for ratings, to gain viewership..kaya hinayaan malagay sa panganib mga buhay ng mga reporter nila). oh well, buti na lang wala naman nangyari sa kanya.

i guess Atom just want to exactly relay to viewers kung ano yung nagyayari pag nasa mismong lugar ka. he even mentioned something about sa kabilang kalye na tinanaw nya. hindi ko na lang matandaan. besides sabi nya naka-helmet sya so may protection naman sya sa sarili nya. at alam nya rin pag delikado na talaga sya at need nya na umalis like ng ginawa nya na nagreport na sya sa 2nd or 3rd floor ng building nung bumaha sa kalsada.

well what he did earned him +++pogi points  nag-worldwide trending pa sya ng 2 days hehe.

I've liked him since 5 and Up. Though I find his reporting in the middle of a super typhoon gutsy, I think it's rather ill-advised and unnecessary. For one, he put himself and his crew at great risk. While being a journalist requires a lot of bravery and courage, there are times when one should discern when and where it's apt to exercise caution. My other beef with what he did is that Atom the reporter, in more ways than one, became the center of attention, not the calamity he was reporting on.

Just my two cents.

I don't understand the criticism leveled against this reporter for DOING HIS JOB. Although I don't know much about him, I understand he is a seasoned experienced respected field reporter. He is covering what is now considered perhaps the biggest catastrophe to affect our country. How exactly was he supposed to do that? In the comfort and safety of a nice plush room inside a safe building? Was he supposed to make Inarte and in the midst of so much destruction talk about the impact of the typhoon and loss of lives while he is nice and dry in a secure location? I would totally disrespect and dislike any journalist who did something so insensitive and callous.

Field reporters know the risks involved in their jobs, in the same way policemen and firemen know that their jobs could potentially endanger their own lives. The likes of Anderson Coooper and Christiane Amanpour have also risked their own lives to provide important news to the public (including reporting while there is shooting going on at war) and instead of getting criticized, they have been cited for their courage. I expect NO LESS from our own reporters.

Also where is the proof that Atom and his team did not adequately take the proper precautions to get the important coverage? How do we know that they were being reckless? Maybe there were NO safer options available at all and they had to do what was necessary in a difficult situation.

I just don't understand how anyone can feel anything other than admiration for someone who is committed to delivering the news that the public is clamoring for, in a time of calamity.

Yung job kasi ng isang journalist, kasama na dun ang malagay sa panganib ang buhay mo, diba nga sino ba yung

I guess we have different ways of seeing  things. My post wasn't meant as a dig at Atom (like I said, I've liked him since 5 and Up), just an honest opinion on his reportage, though it seems like it came off as being nega. Let's just agree to disagree then and have a healthy discussion like rational people that we all are.

labas ako ng bahay kasi pagbukas ko ng tv, nagrereport si Atom sa mismong street namin, ayun naglalakad na cya sa tapat namin at tapos na pala sya nun.

dahan dahan pa lakad niya kasi ang kapal ng putik samin. wala siyang arte saka all smiles siya sa mga nakakasalubong niya.

Sis green-aholic, I'm turning 28 YO this December na, so malamang 30 plus na siya. Yung jeep incident namin, hindi ko matago ang kilig ko  Nagbayad siya from Central to Sandigan since pareho kami ng bababaan, kaso ayun naloka siguro siya sa akin bumaba na siya ng Ever Commonwealth

yes, they dated last night in trinoma, watched OTJ. they are really so discreet about it but they are a handsome couple. I love to see them together. ahhhh.. love.. kilig ako

KC had an interview with Atom nung may morning show pa sya together with TJ & Tunying, in fairness may chemistry naman silang dalawa. Pero parang ayaw ng puso ko

Kalurkey nga talaga yung may mga negative comments dyan! Aside Atom a lot of reporters dyan ang sumasabak sa calamity and gyera just to give us directly the feel of what's happening sa isang lugar... Even Jessica Soho and Noli de Castro nung kabataan nila, sumasabak din sila sa gyera at lahar pra makapagbigay ng eksaktong balita... Masyado lang talaga napansin si Atom because trully, gwapo sya... hehe

come on guys, the guy was wearing a helmet when he was doing his report. So it means, he is being careful. He didn't do it para lang mapansin. Gwapo na sya noh!

Anyways, I think buo ang loob ni Atom why he did that. It was nothing to him, I guess ha! He's a known activist and mom and dad nya activist din. Nagra-rally yan sa Mendiola at UP so buo ang loob nya sa mga ganyan. He obviously knows what he is doing kasi naka helmet nga sya and he is aware of the danger. Pero kailangan lang nya talaga ibalita eh!

Kaloka! Mga reporters ganyan talaga. Si Jessica Soho nga muntik ng masabugan ng car bomb sa Afghanistan eh! Part na ng job nila yan.

OT: saan na si karen davila? She commented before the storm surge warnings given were too much daw, the typhoon wasnt that strong naman daw.... eh saan na siya ngayon?
