christmas decors, anyone started home decorating?

We put up our tree last night pero di pa tapos, my aunt sent me ribbons, so go muna ko sa mall to check out how they do it sa trees hehe first time ko to use ribbons, laging balls, poinsettia, ferns, holly lang. my theme is orange-brown-gold-apple green. plus our usual ceiling garland and stockings.

yung window garland swag namin, ok na rin. I used orange and apple green snowflakes garland and frosted orange lights.

im so happy with our "in progress" decors. hehe. I bought additional stuff from True Value, Kaluxe, Rob Magnolia Dept Store and online.

Hubby wants a gold and silver theme this year.  We will have to buy additional gold plus silver ornaments and keep the red and orange ones in storage.

^i'll get more this week. Or i might get some from my mom's place (they havent put up a tree for 2 years na since wala naman daw bata & they always spend Christmas at our place). I want to get more lights. Me para I don't spend too much, I don't put decorations at the back of the tree. Anyway, our tree is placed against a wall since we don't hAve space. Di naman nakikita yung likod so I don't place decors. Hehe

We started putting up our tree last Sunday. White Christmas Tree, Blue LED lights, Big Fuschia and Navy Blue Christmas Balls (matte and glossy), Small baby blue balls, Gold and Green small drums, poinsettia flowers, ribbon and angels na clip. At the base of the tree ay si singing santa and grandma who holds a candle. Naglagay din ako ng potpourri under the tree para mabango.

Socks sa window ng bahay para daw madali mailagay ni Santa ang gift sabi ng anak ko. Hehe

Lahat iyan ginamit namin last year Nothing new except for the angel sa top kasi nabasag ko Temporarily star ang nakalagay ngayon pero bibili ako ng angel pang replace.

i put up our christmas tree 60 days before christmas... gold and red ang motiff. put some wreats and ornaments in our door and windows.

Saan kaya nakakabili ng belen?  Sa SM kasi very limited ang choices.

Just decorated mine: skyblue, teal, silver and white. Mostly whites and silver on other stuff.

Our Christmas tree is already up, our motif is gold and red, to have a feel of child-like Christmas, I put stuff toys in our Christmas tree all my baby girl's favorite character..

It's ber month already and Christmas is fast approaching. I used to put up our Christmas tree together with my siblings when i was single. But after i got married a few years ago, i wasn't able to do so. Either we spent Christmas at my in-laws home in the province or out of town. After 3 yrs, finally, we will be celebrating it at home.

I'm in search for a white tree. White because i don't like the idea of mosquitos flocking around the tree if it's green. Lalo na nagka dengue ang isang yaya namin recently.

I've been to unique novelties for the first time pero out of stock pa yung white tree that i liked. Went to megamall's sale yesterday to find trees w/ better leaves to no avail. Next week divisoria and hopefully makakita na ko. For the theme, i'm still choosing.

^sis, I just bought a white tree from National Bookstore 3 weeks ago, 7ft lang kasi mababa lang ang ceiling namin. It's my 3rd tree, and for a change, white ang pinili ko. I will still use my orange-brown-gold-green motiff, same as last year, kasi kakabili ko lang. Next year na lang ako magpapalit

Mga sis question, san pwede bumili ng mga toy decor for the tree? Gusto ko sana toys kasi my son loves it. It his first tree rin kasi since most of the time we spent our christmas and new years since he was born at my sister's house. TIA
