christmas decors, anyone started home decorating?

sis BRAT, iba talaga nagagawa ng Christmas. parang ang saya talaga.

i saw last year sa isang mall dito sa SG, yung super tall christmas tree nila punong puno ng carebears. sobrang cute.

isang pangarap ko pa is to put parol sana sa labas ng bahay. kaya lang di sya ideal sa new house namen. maybe next time....

My husband is in charge of decorating our house for Christmas every year.  He started last weekend with the small tree (for the second floor landing), wreaths (for the doors) and lights (for the balcony).  He will be putting the ornaments to our main tree this coming weekend.

Red and gold ang theme, as always.  I am not a fan of other colors for Christmas.  I will consider bronze accents but not this year.  Our small tree has all red ornaments.  As for our main tree, hindi pa kami nakapag-decide whether red and gold or gold only.  If gold only, we need to purchase more gold ornaments.

We don't put gifts under the tree until Christmas Eve kasi bubuksan ng mga anak ko sigurado ang mga gifts kahit hindi para sa kanila.  I just keep the gifts in the spare room and retrieve them kapag distribution time na.

@greenpease05, in Divisoria there is a huge store where you can buy all sorts of ornaments, including Christmas ball, beads, flowers, twigs, wreaths and leaves thingies sa may corner ng C. M. Recto and the side street where Tutuban Mall is located.  Ang daming ornaments there!  But go early because the store supplies shops in malls so baka magkaubusan if you go by mid or late November.  This store is Anding's, I believe kasi toy store sa itaas eh.  Since Divi ito, you get those items for a fraction of the cost at department stores.

Landmark also has lots of flowers, candelabras, vases and other stuff at very reasonable prices.

Hapi you gave me an idea with the carebears. Meron sa kiddy palace sale ng maliliit na carebears parang panabit or keychain. Pwedeng yun ang ilagay ko sa christmas tree namin this year

^yes sis ganun ang nakasabit sa Christmas tree namin last year and same this year, pero not limited to bears, may mga disney characters para enjoy mga kids makita ang christmas tree..

i am going to use the gift cards we received fro the previous christmases. lalagyan ko lang sya ng tali then isasabit, pag may time, gawin kong collage. nakuha ko yung concept sa pamangkin ng asawa ko. dun kami nag-reunion last year.

Fail ang carebears project ko. Tiningnan ko yung sinasabi kong sale na carebears palawit eh 7$ pala ang isa. Kahit balak ko na sa harap ng lagyan yung tree namin kasi corner naman siya, di pa rin pwede. Ang mahal! Haha!

ito naman yung simple and small tree namin dito,para lang mag mukhang christmas bahay namin,he!he! sa cali kami kasi nag ce-celebrate ng Christmas every year doon kasi lahat ng relatives,

hopefully next year dito kami sa bahay mag holidays para makabili ako ng malaking Christmas Tree,nakaka miss kasi mag decorate, gustong gusto ko yung purple,pink and silver motif

^ depende sa dami ng ipapagawa mo sa kanya. it ranges from 2000-3500.

We will be setting up our Christmas tree later, we added some ornaments and we lights. So excited my kids will truly love it!!

kami rin unti-unti for the past few days, pero today, sana matapos na namin ang tree. 3rd year na namin purple pink and silver. next year na ko magpapalit.

^sis yan yung gustong gusto kong motif matagal na,pink,purple,silver, di ako maka bili bili ng big tree dahil di naman kami dito sa bahay nag spend ng holidays,super miss ko na yung mag decor katulad nung sa Pinas, ang sarap pa naman din mamili dito ng mga decorations kasi ang ga-ganda at ang dami varieties

^^ yup she does that.. pero the client still decides kung anong preference niya. tutulong lang siya mag mix and match.

Hay my daughter keeps moving around my Christmas decors, kanina ko Lang napansin. I was looking at our tree kanina and I was wondering how come there were empty spots while some areas were overcrowded with decors. Ayun sabi ni yaya my daughter has been moving the decors around.

Our Christmas tree is up, ganda naman ng result with stuff toys around the tree then ornaments, wala ng garland or ribbon just ornaments then stuff toys at lights. Later garage and garden naman namin ang tatapusin namin.

Ours already up too! But no carebears as planned. We stick to our old theme which is is red and gold, but dinagdagan ko ng balls na parang white pearl ang color.
