christmas decors, anyone started home decorating?

Last weekend, I've been to Dapitan Arcade, ang daming Christmas Decors! Nakakatuwa!

^yup nakaktuwa nga sa dapitan arcade. all sorts of xmas decors meron sila. and i really like the native decors, so artistic and ingenious. siguro my theme for this year will revolve around native decors. ganda ng mga ribbons and wrappings, twines and baskets.

^ayos nga! will start shopping this saturday. gusto ko din yung mga mini santa na pwede ilagay sa living room.

We will use our decors last year, mahal na kasi ng mga decors and ornaments., We have Blue and silver theme last year, mejo lalagyan ko n lang ng touch of lilac para maiba naman kahit konti..

i will let the Halloween pass tapos itatayo ko na ng christmas tree..

I can't WAIT to start decorating our house this year! Last year hindi ako nagbother since we were out of the country naman for 3-4 weeks saka we were renting lang.

I picked red, gold and green theme. Very traditional!

saang part of the house pa kayo naglalagay ng christmas decor mga sis? like garlands sa walls etc. naglalagay din kayo ng malaking parol sa labas ng bahay?

naglalagay pa rin kame ng parol, but our christmas lantern is yung capiz, pero hindi yung uso ngayon na colorful, purong white lang sya, para it still symbolizes the star... we've been using it since 2006, palit  lang kame ng mga ilaw na napundi, and plastic cover..para mukang bago pa din

^sa foyer pa lang sis meron na kong xmas wreath and twines/garlands naka loop sa wall. sa dining table sa gitna usually may red candles ako dyan but ngayon gusto ko native basket with green and gold sinamay and red candle sa gitna. sa sala isip pa ko, most likely native baskets din with sinamay and green and gold balls and red green and gold pine cones, tapos i'll put in potpourri na cinnamon scent.

I plan to have a kiddie christmas motiff... may pagka-DIY. Kasi my kids requested na isabit ko naman daw si santa, jollibee, ben 10 and iba pang cartoon characters instead of puro na lang x-mas balls and lights daw... LOL.

Plan ko tuloy to buy a smaller x-mas tree that I can personally design for the kids... Hehe

We already had our Christmas decorations set-up na, as of late  September. Ang aga, diba! hehe. We just used the same decor we used last year.

mga sisters san ba nakakabuy ng murang flowers but the quality is good.

Super mahal kasi sa designer blooms. kahit sa factory outlet nila eh same price pa rin  sa shop. =(

^murang flowers? dangwa. okay naman mga bulaklak dun eh (for me), though kailangan tiyetiyempuhan mo yung mga high-grade na bulaklak, or sometimes, you may even have to ask them kung kelan may parating especially if the flowers that you want are still imported from abroad.

^^ sis, try sa dept stores like landmark and sm.. sa tabora din may isang store dun. morning glory ang pangalan..

my mom has a florist who setups our christmas decors like the christmas tree trimmings, garland sa staircase, centerpieces, wreaths. will post pics after the halloween kami naka-sched sa kanya.. hindi masyado sa xmas light for safety reasons. nagpapapirma pa sya ng waiver if you want lights to be installed. very minimal lang talaga, sa mga trimmings with glitters nya binabawi.

our Christmas tree is up. We set it up last night. I re-used last year's decorations and just added gold ornaments. so it's blue / gold this year. Happy naman mga tao sa bahay...
