Basta naman nagconfirm na ang VP that you are accepted, okay na yun. Kahit ano na ang mauna sa medical, submission of requirements, signing of contract.

how long ka nag-antay for the call?

^^sis shielomarie, matagal talaga sila magprocess. Wait mo lang na ma-set ka ng iterview kay Ms. Viny Uy (VP for treasury, di ko lang sure kung sya pa din ngayon). Kapag ok ka na kay Ms. Viny, ok na yan. schedule ka na nila for medical.

This is based on my experience. I was treasury assistant din sa SM before.

based on my exp, aabutin ka ng 1 month or 2 months before ka tawagan. I can't say if it's worth the wait kasi depende sa nature of work na inapplayan mo. Think 100x before pumasok sa SM kasi tambak and loaded ang trabaho.
Yung ibang department may pasok ng mon-sat and even holidays and no OT pay. Okay naman ang benefits.

Sanay naman ako sa tambak and OTY, halos 10 years na ako sa BPO and it's about time for me to get out since may opportunity na maganda. Sa training dept ako.

Thank God may thread pala about working at SM. Last monday i got a call from SM and they actually invited me to submit my resume.. after ko mag-email ng resume ko nag text na sila agad saken and asked me kung kelan ako available for interview. We scheduled it this coming saturday. sana maging OK ang outcome

^^ sis nagwork ako sa hr sa sm before. ginagawa namin before, nagbabackground check lang kame pag ire-regular na yung employee. pero pag sa treasury may background check na agad. as far as i can remember, parang 1-2 weeks ata yung interval ng initial interview, 2nd interview, tsaka medical. tapos more than a month yung orientation/1st day kase ginagawa pa yung branch ng sm.

hello mga sis! how do they conduct background checks in SM? reference check lang ba or do they do extensive background check like education/qualifications or credit history? thanks in advance

Hi guys, ask ko lang kasi I'll be having their (SM) medical tomorrow morning and they haven't discuss their compensation and salary. I am applying for acctg. asst. position. Would you mind sharing to me the compensation and benefits of SM as a probationary muna.
HELP!  I'm getting confused on what company to accept, kasi nagpamedical na ko dun sa isa rin nilang affiliate and they've already discussed to me their comp. & benefits..Thanks..

hi there, can i ask kung anong affiliate yun? I was with Watsons kasi for 3 years and now i am back at SM Dept. Store. Usually hindi talaga sila nag didiscuss ng salary and compben hanggat hindi ka cleared sa medical and physical exam mo. Mahigpit sila sa medical they have class a,b,c,d classifications sa medical/physical exam. If na class d ka hindi ka nila talaga tatanggapin so useless if idiscuss nila sa iyo earlier ang salary and compben. if class c ka you will be endorsed to the company doctor and the doctor will make the final decision if you are fit to work or you need thorough observation from a specialist.

Hangga't hindi mo nga nakukumpleto yung requirements minsan hindi pa din nila sa iyo ididiscuss. But if you are saying na you also applied sa isang SM affiliate, pareho lang sila ng benefits. The benefits that i had at Watsons was all from SM :-)

hi sis, i am not sure about BDO kasi hindi ko pa na experience pumasok sa kanila. It depends siguro kung ano ang nature or work if sales/HR/Accounting magandang background ang SM and training ground na rin. Yun nga lang sobrang higpit nila. Im sure pareho namang magandang company yung 2 pero siguro trust your instinct na lang. goodluck sis!

Hi everyone! do all SM employees wear uniforms? The last time I wore a uniform was still in high school, so Im not used to the idea now. When I went for my interview, I saw some people in uniforms and some that are not. do merchandisers/buyers wear uniforms as well? Thank you!!

Kasi po nag apply po ako Online sa kanila as an accountant assistant/accountant(i forgot na sa dame ng inapplyan ko)
After ilang days e tumawag sa akin ang isang tiga SM ata..sabi punta daw ako for interview on monday..

so ask ko lang sino naka apply sa inyo dito??

nakalagay din kasi dun sa email na sinend nila mag dala daw ako ng xerox ng TOR,DIploma,Govertment ID,2x2 ID pic at isang comprehensive resume.

Ano po ang posibilidad na makuha ako?Im from province and my grades are not that good.Prang average student lang ako.

I am currently working at Sm Dept. Store. I am a newly hired. Possibilities of you getting hired is still unsure especially if they haven't screened you or didn't took any of the online tests. Recruitment Process of SM really do takes time pero once you passed the Final Interview that's the chance that you can say that you almost got the 50% chance of getting hired. The other 50% is if you've passed their medical standard (medical and physical examination) If you are under class a or b then you are sure that you're on the right track. but if you are classified as class c it means that you need to consult a specialist and needs to have a certification (fit to work).

SM Corporate Office is the building in front of SM Mall of Asia. Take the LRT (baba po ng EDSA station) then sakay po kayo sa mga orange na jeep (don't know what to call them).  Bring ID and bawal po naka slippers ... goodluck
