Hello po. I am from Iloilo and Guest Service Assistant naman [textspeak!] inapplayan ko for Global Pinoy at SM. Anyone from here with the same department? Hinge naman po ng tips. I'm a psych grad and w/o exp pa kaya minimun po tlaga [textspeak!] sweldo like 7k [textspeak!] daw. And 6months probationary kc wala silang contract eh.

There were like 57 applicants and they're just looking for one [textspeak!] daw. I applied through jobstreet.com last July 5 and had my 1st interview the following day. July 7 was for the psych exam and then kahapon July 9 [textspeak!]  2nd interview ko with the HR manager 1st then [textspeak!] 3rd eh mall manager na. After my final interview they told me to text me if done na sila assessing my application, tpos tinawag na [textspeak!] next sakin. After few minutes na palabas nko sa mall biglang tumawag [textspeak!] HR na pinapabalik ako. Then she gave me some requirements for this week to finished and told me I was the chosen one. I really can't believe it kc nga fresh grad ako at HRM/tourism [textspeak!] prefer nila sa position. Sana enjoyable [textspeak!] [textspeak!] stay doon. I'm planning to stay at least for a year. Exp kc habol ko [textspeak!] eh.

its been morethan a month n after ng final interview q pero until now wala pa din call from HR, when i follow up kc sabi nila they call me for medical test once they recived the aproval for hiring..

sis did they call you na ba? Pag sinabi ba nilang tatawag, tatawag ba talaga sila?

Hi, I'm a newbie here. 1 week after my final interview, tumawag ang HR sa akin. Tinanong lang sss number ko, then sabi nila tatawag daw sila that day. Pero hindi na tumawag. I'm still waiting for their call. And waiting for JO. Tatawag pa kaya sila? hehe! or talagang matagal lang processing nila.

Yung bff ko nung elementary days, ang work nya parang nag uuli lang din sa malls, parang nagchecheck ng mga staff nya, supervisor ata sya kasi yung younger bro ko nagwork din sa sm, si bff din naghandle sa kanya. Ang saya lang kasi nakakasalubong ko minsan si bff sa loob ng mall. 7 years na ata sya don. Si younger bro naman nasa office din sya, kasama nya yung branch manager, Sy ang last name, baka kamag anak nya yung may ari ng SM? :-D

2weeks ago nainterview ako for Operations Assistant position for SM Dept. Store. tpos sabi ttwagan na lang for the sched ng final interview. until now wala pa rin.
den 2wiks ago also i was interviewed naman for a Leasing Assistant position. after 3days natext ulit nman [textspeak!] for another interview. that time [textspeak!] leasing supervisor na. ok nman nging flow ng interview. [textspeak!] ttwagan na lang daw [textspeak!] ng hr if ever ok nging assessment/evaluation sa kin. pero until now ala pa rin. mtgal ba [textspeak!] process?

hi sis prettyven.. i have the same dilemma.. ako naman i was interviewed here in pampanga.. assistant leasing manager din.. 3 weeks ago i had my final interview with the leasing manager.. as in it went well and i had high hopes after... kaso last ako na update ng hr  2weeks ago and they said that my application was still for review.. so up to now wala pko news from them.. ive read from the previous blogs na matagal talaga recruitment proces... yung isa nga it took almost a month bago nakadinig ng feedback from hr... ano na nangyri sa inapplyan mo may tumawag na ba? let's keep our fingers crossed.. if it's God's will then may tatawag din.. goodluck sa lahat ng may pending application..

not worth it for me.. feeling ko tinitipid nila ang mga tao and the politics really, really sucks although i worked in one of the affiliated companies but still i really cant take it. went back to my previous industry which is quite ok

Ive been contacted by SM and they asked me if i am interested for the executive assistant position.I already had my personality online exam and 1st interview last last week.I am scheduled for a 2nd interview next week.Could anyone advise me if this job is worth it? I am already quite hesitant upon reading your comments.Do u have any idea if this department is okay? Thanks!

i was invited for an interview also.. 1st palang and mag-confirm palang ako schedule.. grabe na-stress ako sa monday to saturday tapos whole day lagi (w/ 2 saturday na off daw)? ano ba work hours nila, 9-6? head office based yung post..
