yeah it's that low depende na rin kung may prior experience ka na sa retail, they'd probably increase a bit but i doubt umabot sa 40k kasi nga intsik ang may ari. makakabawi ka lang sa incentive kung maka-quota ang dept mo, but sadly, di lahat ng dept nakaka-quota every month.

hi..medyo nakakainip na nga ang waiting time for the requirements sa SM. bakit kaya ganon..yung ibang ka batch ko eh natawagan na for medical..wala pa yung sa akin..sabi naman ng HR nira route pa ang papers ko and inaayos ang training schedules namin this january.

Oh, parang may narinig nga ako before na marketing manager daw na she's getting 40k (this is an SM somewhere outside of Manila). Curious ako tuloy!

^ 20k is the highest they can offer for managerial posts. i suggest you pursue a managerial post rather than a supervisory role. SM still treats supervisors as a Rank & File post, maraming ek ek jan!

sis, baka dept.store rate yan.  my cousin works for SM as a Leasing Manager, sa MALL ADMIN  yun and she gets 60k a month plus she's entitled to incentives pa.  20k is too low for a manager's salary. another friend of mine is a PR Officer naman, under mall admin also and she gets 25k. i'm not sure lang sa dept.store kung ganun pala kababa ang salary range nila. Separate kasi ang DEPT.STORE and MALL ADMIN.

but yes, supervisors nga daw at SM are still considered as rank and file employees and they still wear uniforms.  yung cousin ko, wala sila uniform..basta managers but in dept.store kahit daw managers, naka uniform pa rin.

  I read all the post here. it's very informative. how 'bout the others that were applying for customer service manager (for sm dept. store), naka-in na ba kayo?

any idea how much the starting is? i was asked but i really didn't have any idea so, i just indicated that it's negotiable for me.

i'm on the final interview, just having trouble setting up a sched with the avp.

Mga sissies i applied sa dept store for STORE CONSIGNOR OFFICE MANAGER, any idea kung how much ang salary? I had 6 yrs working experience sa telco and I had my initial interview kanina. Ang susungit ng mga tao sa loob ng dept store office grabe yun lang ang napansin ko ha to think maaga pa yun what more kung hapon na. Medyo nagdadalawang isip nga ako kasi I came from SM na din before kasi yung company na pinanggalingan ko andun nakabase so mall schedule medyo nakakapagod talaga. Sabi sa akin after 1 week daw na wala pa akong mareceive na text message means I am not suited for the job.

tanong lang po. Kc im planning to apply for a Computer Programmer position dito sa SM,ask lang po kon may Uniform ba sila for Programmers sa corporate office nila.
If yes,ano po uniform,same ba sa store,yong blue na longsleeves for girls.

Hello everyone. I have questions regarding the pre-employment requirements at SM. Actually, I will be starting soon as an HR assistant at the head office and I was wondering about where to secure the following:

(1) cedula
(2) mayor's work permit
(3) health permit
(4) police clearance

I am confused right now because the HR assistant told me that I could secure all of this at the manila city hall, but someone told me that i should get the cedula and police clearance from gov't offices where i live.

ang alam ko po kung san location ng work mo dun mo din kukunin yung mga yan..
baka sis sa SM within Manila ka ma-a-assign kaya sinabeng sa Manila mo kukunin.

ganyan kase yung friend ko, sa Marikina siya nakatira.
eh yung work location eh sa SM Masinag, part ng Antipolo so dun siya pinakuha ng
requirements..
