hi mga sis..yung watson ba is under the management of SM din? I've got a call kasi kanina sa executive search and they will endorse me sa Watson...

so sis sa salary and benefits same lang din yung watson sa sm? and also kung gaano sila kahigpit? may nakasabay kasi ako before and from sm daw siya dati...bawal nga magdala ng celphone sa working area and mahirap magleave...

^sis, ang watsons ay part ng retail affiliates ng sm. katulad ng ace hardware, sports central, kultura filipino, etc. Nasa building B ng corporate office ang main office nyan. Same policy pa rin kasi nasa loob ka pa rin ng SM. Unless sa 2nd level consignors ka papasok (revlon, maybelline, etc. which is under watsons naman).. It's not true na bawal magdala ng phone sa work area. well i'm not sure sa ibang departments ha. pero sa amin, hello, pwede pa nga kumain ng junk food or kung anuman habang nagwwork eh... hehe

sis meron. under yan sa Ladies' Fashion Merchandise Corp. (LFMC) Sa building C naman yan. Depende kung san ka ilalagay. Subdivided kasi yan into 4 departments-- wears, shoes, accessories, miscellaneous.

^ang main offices ng SM ngayon sis, nasa tapat ng Mall of Asia..isang mahabang block yun na may iba iba color na building respectively. the blue one is for the dept store, nasa bukana yun. the other one naman eh yung orange building, sa food retail naman yun (sm supermarket, sm hypermarket, makro).

For managerial positions. Is it true na you can be assigned in a particular branch pero you must visit other branches as well?

^sis, it depends on what particular department you're in.

Sa amin sa engineering dept., that holds true. Depende pa rin kasi merong regional design managers. sila yung humahawak halimbawa ng mga vis-min branches. yung iba, north luzon naman. something like that. Meron din namang assistant design managers. sila, ang hawak nila branch lang. halimbawa sm pampanga lang. ganun.

so basically, depende pa rin kung what particular position and department.

^i see. for merchandising dept in particular kasi ako nalilinya. pero i'm stilll waiting for a 3rd interview. tingnan na lang natin kung meant to be. pero if the work entails travelling, does that mean they provide transpo for you?

^sis, kasi tatanungin ka nila kung anong branch ka pinakamalapit. hindi nila sagot ang transpo mo. Unless maassign ka sa branch outside NCR.

Hello! I just had my initial interview for the SMITPro officership track... so MT sya for SCMC. Matagal po ba yung processing ng applications dito? Does anyone have any other information about the program? THank you!

^it depends sa demand ng position na yun. if asap yan, within a week, tapos na lahat yan. baka papasukin ka na sa next cut-off

Oh I see.  Thanks! Interview ko nung Friday.  Naku sana tumawag na sila.  They are hoping daw that by December complete na yung batch na ito. Hindi pa sila tumatawag although ang sabi nila they'll call for 2nd interivew and on that day daw someone could tell me more about the program.  I hop they're the kind of company na talagang tatawag when they say they will

they will, don't worry..siguro they are still checking the availability pa ng mga boss. depende kasi eh, yung iba may 'branching' days kaya wala sa main office.

^aside from the standard government benefits like VL/SL, SSS, Pag-Ibig, etc?... well, you have the employee's discount... i forgot the other in-store benefits, pero pinaka na-enjoy ko dun is yung pag may sale, you get to see the items first tapos pwde mo na ipatabi yung gusto mo... sale na nga, may discount pa...

I see ... so wala paring weekends off and OT pay? kasi officer yung track ko for the MT program.. i'll be an officer in 6 months

I know an officer who works in SM Corporate Office.... She said these are the benefits:
-13.5 Bonus
-16 VL and 16 SL
-Alternate Saturday offs
-Company phone
-Yearly increase
-Travel Allowance
-Health Card
OK daw sa SM pero meron lang mga Departments na pangit...pero unti lang yun. Normal office hours is 9-6:45...pero she usually extends. TY lang daw...If ever daw, ang pinakamasaya daw na Department is Merchandising Department...parang nagshop ka lang daw
