My sister is working in Holiday Inn Maldives. Sobrang nakakainggit ang mga pics nila. My family is planning to go there to visit her. Ipon ipon muna kami.

we stayed there April last year! lovely place and very friendly staff. ang layo lang from airport. i'm not a morning traveller so yung 45-min boat trip going back to the airport ng umaga was torture for me. would definitely go back though. tiisin lang ang boat ride. hehe

Thank you to sis mama squeak for helping me book our flights to Maldives. We stayed at Taj Exotica for 5d/4n and we wanted to go back. Super expensive lang talaga the food kaya once a day lang kami kumain haha nagbaon lang kami ng noodles imagine for a meal we paid 200 usd! pero the Maldivians are really polite and nice! Hay! Sana Filipinos working in resorts here in pinas are like them! Ikaw ang mapapagod kaka greet sa kanila in return kasi hindi sila nagsasawang mag greet sayo kahit na paulit ulit na nila kami nakikita hehe. The sands are still better in boracay pero the beach and the water and the marine life, Maldives talaga ang maganda. Malayo ka na sa shore and yet waist level parin ang water and nasa shore ka na pero ang daming marine life that is sooo visible We stayed at an overwater bungalow and its worth it Next year when we go back, naku sa cheaper resorts na lang kami ahahaha. Nakakamiss ang blue skies at ang crystal waters Im sure wala nakong makikitang ganun sa pinas because i've been to boracay, bohol, palawan (coron, dos palmas, elnido) and nothing compares to Maldives talaga in terms of water.

Subscribing!  We will be having our honeymoon in Maldives by June and i'm so excited  booked our ticket cebupac mnl-sg @ 13k then tigerair sg-male @ 27k then hotel at Velassaru 3d2n water villa with pool @ 3,250usd all in (boat transfers, breakfast and dinner) sobrang mahal ng hotel but I think its worth it naman since once lang kami pupunta hehe

^Sabi nila May to November is wet season. But I still pushed through my trip at end of September. With the climate change you're never know daw. Like now it should be raining na daw but they still have a lot of sun.

With rougher seas, the wet season is also the best time to visit for surfing enthusiasts. March to October is a great time for surfing in the Maldives.

The Best Time to Save

While the driest time of the year, the period between December and April is also the busiest tourist season. The hottest months of the year are between February and April, with resorts bursting with vacationing guests. Prices for hotels, flights and even restaurants are more expensive than at any other time. You will pay a significantly higher price for your Maldives honeymoon or vacation when travelling during these months. If visiting during the month of December, expect particularly high prices as travellers visit the islands during the popular Christmas holiday period. Resort prices are at their lowest during the wet season, especially between March and October.

The Bottom Line: The Best Time to Visit Maldives

There is no ‘bad’ time to visit the Maldives, although there are some times that should be avoided. The best time to visit Maldives is between December and April. The weather is at its finest, with warm temperatures and very little rain. Avoiding the month of December is recommended. Visiting from mid-December to early January is especially expensive.

we went to maldives last nov 2014. 4d3n sa centara ras fushi. we booked sa travel agency here sa sg. parang 90k pesos all in kasama na yung flight via singapore airlines.

ang ganda sa maldives! enjoy [textspeak!] water bungalow saka magsunset viewing sa jacuzzi. grabe din ang food, buffet 3x a day. dami naghohoneymoon, kami lang ata ang barkada na nagpunta haha!
