Maldives

naku parang hindi ako makapaniwala na nabook na namin lahat going to maldives! ang mahal! sa medhufushi resort kami, by seaplane transfer. i need to face my fears!!! sa resort alone, $1,755 all in for 3 days 2 nights, over water villa. parang ang mahal, nahypnotize yata ako.  pikit mata na lang. hehe.

^sis, i think ok na yan, considering it's all in na. mahal din food sa maldives eh. when you're there, surely makakalimutan mo ang gastos hahaha super worth it!

nagpabook kami sa atollparadise.com. puro pinay yung agent. what i mean by all in, inclusive of taxes, seaplane transfers, breakfast and dinner. pero pansin ko lang ang mga drinks nila laging excluded. kaya magdadala kami bottled water! buti na lang mura airfare namin. at least dun man lang nakamenos. sisses, what are the things not to miss in maldives? gusto ko sulitin moments namin kasi minsan lang to talaga as in! 2nd out of the country pa lang namin to. hirap kasi sa schedules namin

sis euwie, sabi nga nila pero ang alam ko matagal pa yon.  yes, okey lang na barefoot ka maglakad sa beach or any water activities.  enjoy your stay in Maldives! namiss ko tuloy bigla ang Maldives.  dont forget to have island excursion, sunset cruise to see dolphins, submarine.  hindi ko masuggest sayo ang Male (city ng Maldives) kasi sobrang liit at karamihan sa souvenir items dun from Philippines din, the only difference is Maldives ang tatak! or you can opt to leave the resort early and upon arrival in the airport, sakay ka ng dhoni going to male to have a tour para makita mo din ang male. as far as I know, medyo expensive kasi ang Male Excursion for guests. dont worry, sa liit ng Male hindi kayo maliligaw suggestions lang naman.

a friend went there before going to Santorini, she attested that Maldives is way better ng Santorini. but, someday, I still want to go to Santorini

me and hubs intend to go back to Maldives, with the kids this time. pero ipon muna, masyadong madugo eh.

^ inggit ako! i think namimili din talaga ng resort and atoll ano? i checked my friend's resort/hotel. that one, hindi talaga ako masyado natuwa kasi parang andumi ng tubig though 'di dumi yun, snorkeling trail siguro.

madugo nga. 'di pa keri eh. i checked- around $4,500 din for a 4d/3n stay, wala pa airfare.

^sa Soneva sis super linis ng tubig. the only kalat na nakita namin are 2 plastic bottles of softdrinks, and I believe it came from the city. the resort itself, doesn't have any plastic items kasi. they do encourage the guests pa to bring home any plastic trashes that they may have.

Would you recommend Maldives if isa lang ang pupunta? Most of the sisses here kasi with their husbands pumunta.) Gift ko lang for myself on my 28th birthday and naghahanap pa ako ng pupuntahan and Maldives is on my list

Is it safe? Hindi ba nakakatakot mag lakad-lakad sa beach mag isa?

Hi mga Sis!

It's been a year since my hubby and I went to Kanuhura Resort in Maldives. Hanggang ngayon humihirit si hubby na namimiss niya. Ako rin, I miss it a lot.

We were there for 5 days and 4 nights. We took the longer route of Manila-Dubai- Male versus the shorter route na Manila-SG-Male. Para makalibot na rin sa Duty Free ng Dubai. hehe.

I saw the cleanest water I have ever laid my eyes on, hindi nangangati paa ni hubby sa sand sa sobrang linis, every morning I walk along the beach before sunrise at kasabay ko maglakad ang herons. I can catch the sun rising on one side while seeing the moon go down on the other simultaneously over the horizon kasi parang 2 km stretch lang yung entire resort.

Ang saya saya pa ng Filipino staff when we were there. Kakwentuhan namin yung sa Spa, sa restaurants, even yung acoustic band. Bihira daw kasi mga Filipino guests dun. Kung meron man, mga isnabero pa. Buti pa daw kami, kwela.

Ang downside lang sa aming trip eh yung island hopping. It beats our version kasi akala namin magiging cultural tour siya pero hindi. Nasa trabaho kasi yung mga fisherman sa villages kaya walang katao tao.

I would never trade that experience for anything.

Simula ng pumunta kami dun na turn off na ako sa Boracay. Kasi I was able to compare how they were taking care of their resorts at kung gaano napapabayaan ang beaches natin. Every morning the resort crew would spend at least 4 hours sa water to clean it for any debris na nagfo float towards sa resort. Sana sa atin ganun din ka disciplined yung resort management para mapanatiling malinis yung beaches natin.

Sa mga nagiisip mag Maldives, go go go! You'll never know until when anjan yung mga islands. They said in a few decades time, lulubog na lahat ng islands.

You'll not regret it!
