natapos na din yung pinalandscape naming garden. here's the picture. mas mura ang quote na ibinigay sa amin nitong 2nd na nag-quote kumpara dun sa una naming napagtanungan na around 95k na hindi pa kasama yung backyard garden. samantalang itong nakuha namin ay 20k+ cheaper tapos kasama na pati ang backyard.

maricar14, melmedrano, and huit, it's not 20k but it's 20k+ cheaper than the quotation given by the first supplier which is 95k. so the entire package that we got from the 2nd supplier is around 77k
 kasama na yung likod. hindi tulad ng sa first supplier na harap at gilid lang yung 95K.

sa bulacan po yung area namin huh near guiguinto pero hindi ako dun nagpagawa kasi mas mahal kapag galing dun sa helera ng mga gardener sa guiguinto.

@huit, malaki kasi yung area namin. sa likod na nga lang 3-4 meters na from the fence to the window of the rooms then yung haba pa nun more or less 10 meters. plus may halaman pa dun na mahal. yung isang klase ng santan na pinalagay ko, 100 pesos ang isa kasi hindi sya common na santan.

^sis, hottie, mukhang wala dun yung album ng garden mo. nakita ko lang ay food at yung mga pina-customize mong furniture pieces kala mr. caritativo. OT sa kanila din kami magpapagawa ng sofa at dining table/chairs.

it's simple yet nice to look at. zen type design. it matches with your house. nice house din sis.

You can do that yourself, just like we did with a one area in our backyard which was used to be occupied with tall wild plants.

Ang nagastos namin? Konti lang, we only paid for those concrete blocks that we used for the path, it was less than a hundred pieces priced at 3.20 euros each, we got those from a garden centre. We didn't hire workers kasi baka contrahin lang ang gusto ko and I knew it would cost thousands of euros. As much as I love gardening, I still don't think its among the things that are worth splurging on. So we did everything ourselves. My parents-in-law came by a few times to help us out.
My husband and I do not know how to build anything, but surprisingly maganda ang result

very nice ng garden mo sis! and also so nice to hear na DIY project nyo ito.

Advice lang mga sis, if you are going to DIY your garden, make a study first lalo na kung malaki yung area. Determine soil type, drainage condition, etc. Saka research kung anong plants ang nabubuhay sa area nyo kahit gano kaganda ang plants kung di angkop sa lugar, mamamatay lang din yun.

^i agree. i used to buy marigolds and other flowering plants bought from cavite. nagagandahan kasi ako. i live in QC after 2 weeks namatay na lahat ng marigolds na binili ko. they thrive pala in cool places like tagaytay, area of cavite nearing tagaytay and baguio. pero kapag sa QC kawawa sila.

yung nag-landscape sa garden namin, may sinabing name ng plant na hindi nabubuhay sa mainit na lugar like bulacan. kaya hindi na lang nya nilagay yun sa garden namin.

^yep sis..maliban din kasi dyan, may mga tinatawag na annuals, perennials, etc...so isa pa pala na dapat i-consider e wag pagtabitabihin ang mga annuals na plants dahil makakalbo yung area na ito. iba iba rin ang needs ng plants sa water and shade.

i requested for a golden shower tree to be planted in our backyard. so far from the readings, this tree can thrive well in our country even in dry places. kaya pala madaming golden shower tree sa malolos

^yep sis, maganda yan golden shower tree and pang tropical countries talaga din yan pero ingat lang kasi I think poisonous yan if ingested kaya ingat sa mga kids. Alam ko nagbloom sya pag summer, and dahil yellow ang flower nya, lagyan mo ng mga pinks or reds sa paligid nya para colorful ang backyard nyo Medyo makalat lang din pala yan, pero maganda ang naman ang effect hehe.

hindi naman poisonous, nakakapurga lang name-mezmerize ako sa puno na yan. talagang pangarap ko ang magkaroon nyan. pero mukhang matagal-tagal pa dahil malaki pa yung pinky finger ko kesa dun sa katawan ng puno na itinamin. sa kabilang part ng backyar naman nakatanim yung crape myrtle tree na maliit pa din. walang kaso sa akin yung makalat dahil wala akong balak na walisin yung mga petals na malalaglag dahil fertilizer din yun sa carabao grass

^mukhang matagal pa nga yan LOL nilagyan mo ba ng parang tree guying yan baka tumumba pag hinangin ng malakas  maganda rin yung crepe myrtle! ang kulay siguro ng backyard mo hehe..ayaw mo ba maglagay ng fruit bearing trees dyan or meron ka na vegetable garden?
