Siquijor-Dumaguete

plan naming pumunta dito early next year. iniisip naming route cebu-dumaguete-siquijor-bohol  possible kaya to mga sis or may mas ok pa na route?

ako rin, may trip kami next year dumaguete siquijor naman kami. sana meron makapagshare ng trips nila dito. 3 days 2 nights kami. plan namin yun 2nd day namin day tour sa siguijor tapos yun first and last day namin ang dumaguete tour.

we went to siquijor na via dumaguete mga 2 years ago.. stayed at cocogrove.

may dalawang pool and beach. when we went there, parang kami lang ata ni hubby ang pinoy..puro foreigners ang naka-book! the place is nice and very quiet..this is the perfect place to go if you want some peace and quiet! room were also good. but take note walang TV. white yung sand, waters are clear.

highlight of the trip was the trip to APO Island Beach Resort for snorkling at the marine sanctuary. mga 2-3 hour boat ride pero ang ganda ng Apo! worth it!

^^sis, okay ba mag overnight sa siquijor? parang natatakot kasi si mommy eh. 3 lang kami magtravel, isang 66 y/o, 21 y/o tsaka ako. parang ang ganda nga sa cocogrove. i checked their website

^oo naman sis. walang problema sa overnight. di nakakatakot promise   the place is very peaceful and maganda yung aura. relaxed na relaxed yung atmosphere and mabango yung sea breeze (unlike boracay na medyo amoy imburnal ang hangin hehe) we went there holy week ha..as in good friday. yung ibang cottages lang you need to climb some stairs para makarating ka doon. yun lang kung kaya pa ng mom mo. kasi parang pataas yung mga cottages from the beach area

We went to Siquijor and Dumaguete last week of August 2009. Ang route namin Dumaguete - Siquijor - Dumaguete - Cebu - Bohol. Sa Siquijor, nag stay kami overnight sa Villa Marmarine. They have a website. Sa Dumaguete naman sa C&L Suites kami nag stay.

2 lang kami ng sis ko pero hindi naman kami natakot. Wala kaming na experience na mga nakakatakot dun... Mababait mga tao. Siguro kung meron mang ng eexist na mga aswangs or mangkukulam siguro sa mga bundok lang yun.

pardon the ignorance, ano ang must-see sa siquijor-dumaguete trip? parang nacucurious ako. pwede ba dyan ang solo trip? hehe...

^sa siquijor, maganda yung beach. very clean and quiet. sand is not as fine sa boracay pero you will feel na malinis yung tubig.masarap mag-relax. we stayed at Coco Grove Resort, may dalawang pool aside from the beach. from Siquijor, you can join a trip to Apo Island. Nandoon yung Marine Sanctuary. Sa aPo Island may mga resorts rin for day trip or overnight. Its such a nice place. Madyo malakas nga lang yung alon for snorkling pero maganda rin yung place. When we went to Siquijor, puro puti/caucasians kasama namin sa resort..kami lang ata pinoy hehe

sa dumaguete, its a city..so para kang nag cagayan de oro, etc. maganda sa may bay side nila (tama ba?) -- parang baywalk sa manila, may mga seafood,etc. na mura.

i love dumaguete. super sarap ng mga food doon. we stayed at thalatta beach resort. same thing, halos kami lang pinoy pero super relax talaga and maganda yung infinity pool nila. overlooking apo island din sya. planning to go back this year.... may ticket na kame hehe

super ganda un dagat talaga sa siquijor..pumunta kame dun last march 2008. [textspeak!] naman nakakatakot, napaka peaceful ang place at sobrang relaxing.. kung nagtitipid kayo may mga murang resort naman dun.

siquijor is not scary po. perfect kung gusto nyo talagang mag relax...ang ganda ng sand din...almost bora na rin mas peaceful pa nga and very simple lang talaga...vist mysiquijor.com for more info...

hi! i'll be in dumaguete on april for the 1st time
any suggestions on where we can go in dumaguete? we're staying in Bethel for a day den travel to Siquijor the next day.....

since you'll only be staying to dumaguete for a day i suggest that you try the different food and restos there like the fried ice cream, sylvannas, jo's , hayahay etc.. you can also visit siliman university and stroll along rizal blvd and try the "tempurahan" (mostly balut and isaw..i think)
