Anybody who got their Emirates ID recently?

Tanong ko lang po ano ba requirements? Do I have to bring my original passport or pwede copy na lang tapos labour card?
What are the steps on getting this and saan po ba pwedeng mag apply nito?

...mashallah...naka-full room kayo?...is it advisable ba to bring kids here then work as well?...ang hirap kasi maghanap ng yaya dito, any advise,please? for example husband +wife will work then kuha ng yaya for baby?

getting a babysitter is expensive. it will drain your savings. 
pero kung independent na yung kid nyo and you can put him/her sa playschool, okay lang din.

nung una nahirapan din kme kmuha ng babysitter nung mtpos maternity leave ko...pero eventually, me nakuha din kame..its true na magastos kumuha ng babysitter..pero yung happiness na naibibigay ng baby ko at yun nakikita ko at nasusubaybayan ko paglaki nia, hindi kayang tumbasan ng pera o kahit anong kayamanan dito sa mundo..it's all worth it...

part time lang sis..una gusto sana namin magsponsor..kaso mas magastos kasi eh...

yes full room, my landlady is also my baby sitter. it works for us na sama sama kami dito. it may be harder for others, but there's always a way.

hello sisses.. meron po ba sa inyo nakapag arrange na ng party sa Planet Hollywood.. We're not from Dubai pero we want so surprise someone next year kasi gagraduate sya ng high school dyan.. despedida party na din sana.. Meron ba kayang Filipino band na mahi-hire?

Hindi ko na alam San ba to ipopost regarding poea, oec and pag ibig fund. Required na mga ofw ng active pag ibig account in order to get an oec. May nakapag asikaso na ba nito sa inyo? I'm from dubai as well and Hindi ko alam ano ba gagawin ko. Meron ba nito sa consulate natin sa Dubai? Pano kapag di ko na alam pagibig number ko kasi more than 5 years na ko di nagcocontribute since nag abroad ako. May nakauwi na ba dito sa pinas na sa poea lahat ni-process pati pag ibig? Super frustrated na ko talaga sa government natin about the things they let us go through. Hindi lahat ng ofw informed about this and kelangan talagang magsariling sikap. Nakakafrustrate na sobra talaga.

hi mga sis! im just new here in dubai.. 2weeks na ko,still in tourist visa.. hoping to get a work here.. im a nurse pero mas prefer ko sana magwork sa mga clinic lang.. anyone here from jumeirah? i heard madami daw clinics dun.. please pm me naman po kung may alam kayong opening for nurse kahet sa insurance company or derma clinic.. thanks! hope to meet gtalkers personally here in dubai.. =) sana rin magkawork ako agad at mabigyan na ng working visa.. dami ko bayarin sa pinas.. lol

hi sis conservababe..welcome to dubai..well if u want to work as a nurse dito, you have to get a license here..there are 3 licensure here..DOH for dubai, HAAD for Abu Dhabi or Al ain & MOH, for Sharjah and the remaining emirates..you can google the requirements..hindi kasi tumatanggap mha hospitals or clinics dito ng nurse na wakang license dito..kung gusto mo naman makapasok sa mga inusurance companies..marami dito, igoogle mo lang, like nextcare, neuron, oman, nas, daman etc..goodluck at sana makahanap ka na ng work..mahirap pa naman maghanap ngaun at ramadan..

wow thank you so much sis! haaayy honga hirap nga ngaun.. actually willing naman ako magexam,pero nung chineck ko schedules for doh, october pa [textspeak!] pinaka malapit na available sked, expired na tourist visa ko nun,,huhu sana may magsponsor na clinic sa exam ko at pumayag na parang to follow na [textspeak!] un since magpapasked naman ako at bigyan na ko ng working visa.. pero mukhang impossible nga yun..pero di pa ren ako nawawalan ng pag asa,,hehe ge sis, try ko din sa mga insurance na yan.. wish me luck!! thanks sis!!

teka ano? by appointment ang pagrerenew ng passport? ganon? baket daw by appointment na lang? kasi nung nanjan ako lastyear hindi naman ganon eh, pumunta lang ako sa cosulate den fillup ng application form at tuloy tuloy na wait nalang ko ng 1 month at bumalik ako kapag nanjan na ang passport ko...kaloka naman ang ating consulate..

^ sis new policy lang ba yan? kasi last May 2010 nag-renew si hubby ng passport sa Phil. Embassy - Abu Dhabi, pero di pa uso ang appointment.. Punta lang dun tapos balik after 1 month...
