On Having 3 kids and more(?)
« on: August 30, 2009, 12:45:48 pm »
Any mom GTs out there with 3 and more kids? hahah...
Naitanong ko ito kasi usually, sa generation ngayon its either 1 or 2 na lang ang kids...
but kami ni hubby, BLESSED with 3 beautiful children: Ziya (5), Izo (2.8 ) and our bunso Naz (5mos old)...

Having a big family is really overwhelming but yet so fulfilling and amazing at the same time...

Having 3kids in a span of 5years is not a joke... from financial aspect to management... and all...
there this time pa na nawalan kami ng yaya... ay Diyos ko po... talaga naman pong napakahirap...
but God is so Great... HE helped us make it through and now we have a trusted househelp/yaya (after so many na pasaway),
also,  na-manage namin ni hubby and schedules on how to make it through the day...i work on shift, while he's found way na maging flexy and schedule nya.
With the kids naman, there are times we feel guilty na hindi namin naibibigay ang 'sapat' na atensyon sa bawat isa... alam mo un... karga mo si bunso then gusto din nung pangalawa... tapos exam week pa ni panganay... (but with that, im proud to say, nag-e-excel pa ang aming only daughter sa school!)
Hay... the tears and joys talaga ng may pamilya at pagiging ina...

How about you, kumusta naman ang pagkakaruon ng "many" kids?  ;)
(i just wonder, marami pa kaya sa ngayon ang may more than 2 kids?)

am a  23 year old stay and work at home mom and have three little daughters. 4 years and 3 months ang eldest, three years and 3 months ang second and 2 years and 2 months ang youngest. ang eldest and second daughters ko are both going to school na.

mahirap po talaga sa ngayon ang sitwasyon namin in the sense that wala kaming katulong or yaya sa mga kids ko since a month after i gave birth sa youngest ko (since more than 2 years ago). mabuti na lang at ang business ko ay home-based which allows me to be with my kids 24/7. ang husband ko naman helps me sa business ko (although he has his own work sa binondo) and when it comes to our kids ay we practice what we call division of labor or give and take. yun bang salitan kami sa pag aalaga (bathing them, changing their clothes, etc.) and kung sino ang bakante ay sya na magka initiative to do what is supposed to be done.

time management. this i think is the key kaya nakakayanan namin lahat. picture this mga momsies. . .my two daughters ateends school mondays to fridays from 9am to 12 noon. my eldest daughter naman has tutorial lessons 2 times a week. meron ako mga labahin/plantsahin. hatid sundo sa school and also sa tutorial class. isama mo pa pagpapakain sa kanila and attending to my home-based business and answering loads and loads of phone calls everyday. deliveries and replenishments of stocks everyday. attending to walk in clients.  marketing and cooking chores everyday. pagpapaligo sa mga kids at pagbihis sa kanila before going to school and sa gabi ay ganun din. haaaayyyyyyyyy nakuh mga momsies!!!! a never ending cycle everyday. all this with just me and my husband (remember wala kami katulong or yaya). isama nyo na din po time behind the computer answering to inquiries, orders, emails, etc.

inspite of all these ay OK pa din kami. this is because enjoy kami in what we do. sabi nga amin na "never a dull moment" so to speak kasi every waking second ay pareho kami pre occupied. in other words, we always feel what i call "natural high".

oh i want 4 kids!  ;D but not too soon. my daughter's just 1.6 y.o. now, plan namin sundan when she's at least 3 years old already (wish ko lang masunod :P). hirap kasi talaga. sa kanya pa nga lang feeling ko super ngarag na ako sa walang katapusang cycle of things to be done. bilib talaga ako sa mga mommies na more than 1 ang kid. iniimagine ko pa lang what it's like, i can't help but cringe LOL! but i know it's fun too, madaming hugs, kisses and laughter  :) sarap nun!

sis lysandra, nakakaloka ang day mo ha..at ang age gap ng babies mo hehe! bow talaga ako sa mga moms na tulad nyo. kudos to all mommies!

Children are blessing...it always has been...
totoong mahirap sa umpisa lalo na kung sunud-sunod sila pero pag lumalaki na, for sure soooper saya na!
i always dream of us na may mga pami-pamilya na sila pero on ALL occasions kumpleto pa rin kami at nagsasama-sama...

ako i have 3 kids na din.. all girls sila, so goodbye na ko sa hoping-for-a-boy moment ko...

1st is 8 yrs old turning 9 this november, next is a super kulit but lovable na middle girl ko, turning 2 this october, then last is my miracle baby, 2 months old na sya...

malayo ang agwat ng 1st and 2nd kasi ng-pills ako after my 1st baby then ang nangyari kaya nasundan agad si 2nd baby dahil hindi agad ako nakapag-take ng kahit na anong contraceptive...

pero no regrets at all... masaya kami kahit minsan sobrang hirap dahil sobrang kulit nila, partida wala pa kaming yaya nyan ah... so goodluck talaga...

but on the other hand what's important is masaya kami and healthy lahat, and i thank God for that... ;D ;D ;D

I have two girls and a son in between, my 2 older kids are now 12 and 10 yrs old. We were happy na with 2 kids... hindi na alagain and i don't need to hire a maid kasi i just stay at home at maliit lang naman yung bahay namin. We were also finally starting to become financial independent at nakakasave na rin paunti unti....i got pregnant with our youngest when my son was 9 years old . It wasn't planned kasi we were contented na talaga with 2 kids lang, pero i was so happy kahit na very difficult ang pregnancy ko...  she's now 6 months and sobrang spoiled sa aming lahat!!! I never imagined her 2 siblings will be so attached to her....to the point nagtatampo na ako (kunyari!) kasi inuuna pa siya hanapin after coming home from school kesa sakin.

buti na lang all ended well kasi my eldest was very vocal na she doesn't want another kapatid kasi iniisip niya na baka yung baby lang daw ang palaging papansin, no more time for them, etc. Kaya hirap akong sabihin sa kanya na when i found out i was pregnant, it took her 5 months  to finally accept my situation.

mahirap din pala yung pag masyado malaki gap kasi nakakaintindi na yung mga older na kids, may mga opinion at insecurities na sila...pero like what i wrote kanina, ok na lahat...medyo hirap na naman financially  coz' of the baby's needs, pero i know we'll get through it...Can't ask for anything more :)

^ hay naku sis, even if malaki na yung 2, nakakaawa yung baby kasi  nung una , napipilayan talaga sa kakahawak nila. Up to now medyo mga brusko pa rin, kakatawa naman si baby, di na umiiyak, nasanay na siguro basta di lang masyado masakit :D

pareho rin tayo insight re sa future....just imagine , my eldest will be entering college on the same year when my youngest will be entering pre school :o , Gosh, I got a long way to go!!!!

I have 3 sons (3 years gap).
I have been hoping to have a girl naman, pero after seeing how it is at home, parang give-up na ko. hehe

Super thankful ako kasi I have my mom to look after the kids at home, with household help naman. Kaya I'm very kampante when Im at work.

Proper management lang talaga, time and finances to get through.  :)

i already have 3 kids - the eldest is 9 then 7 and 1 year old [textspeak!] bunso. actually i was advised not to get pregnant again. pro ako ang tigas ng ulo, so nanganak pa rin ako last year and the last kasi nagpa-ligate na ko kaya no more hoping to have another one.

it's a good thing i've found a trustworthy helper - she's with us for 9 years already. siya na ang nag-alaga sa 3 kids ko. nung maliliit pa sila, sa kanya sila sumasama at hindi sa kin. before naiiinis ako pro i realized kasi mas maraming time silang magkasama kasi i'm in work most of the days.

hirap din ng maraming anak - especially pag nag-aaral na. imagine mas mataas pa ang tuition ng anak ko for one year kesa sa 5-year kong tuition expenses nung college ako. lol.

Hay we are varied, I also have three kids 1 boy and 2 girls 5,4,and 7 mos. Sometimes it's tiring but most of the time it's super happy hehe they are my inspirations I'm always in love with them exept the time when they are so stuborn. Given the opportunity we want more pa ni hubby kaso lang the problem is financial prep palang kasi 30K na tuition hello wala pa nga kamin sariling house at mabagal ang ipon. Hubby is the only one working, pag lumaki laki si bunsokutoy makikipagsapalaran  na rin si mama hehe.

Sali ako ha.  :)

Nowadays, considered  marami na talaga yung 4 na kids noh?  Kasi whenever may kakilala ako nagtatanong ilan na ang anak ko and I answer them I have 4 kids, they are all shocked or amazed kasi marami na daw akong anak in so short a time.  ;D

My husband and I have been married for 6 years and we have 4 kids:

1.  6 years old
2.  4 year old
3.  2 years old
4.  1.5 years old

I am a work-at-home mom but I have had 2 yayas to help me with them.  Now that the 2 elder kids are in school na, we only have 1 yaya for the youngest.  And because I do my work at home, hindi ko na kayang magluto, laba, etc. So I have a cook and a stay-out labandera.

Magastos talaga. Their milk alone talagang ubos-budget.  Kung mamasyal kami sa mall noon, parang isang buong baranggay kami cause we have 2 yayas in tow.  But now that they're older we can manage to go to the mall with just one yaya.  Ayaw ko na ring magdagdag ng yaya coz nakaka frustrate ilang yaya na ang nag quit dahil sa kakulitan ng mga kids ko.  ;D Susme, kids their age? Maloloka ka sa kakulitan.

Pero masaya yung family kasi nakakatuwang tingnan or ma-discover yung kanya kanyang personalities ng mga anak ko.  Nakakawala ng stress yung tawa nila.  I also make it a point to have quality time for each one of them, like bringing one of them to the grocery or isama yung younger ones sa paghatid dun sa school ng mga elder kids.

And for a young family like us, it's a double effort for us to earn much and to save more at the earliest time possible kasi it will not be long when all of them will be in school already.   :)
