may daughter had this too not too long ago...gumawa pa nga ako ng thread about this but no one replied sus kumalat sa buong katawan...yong likod ng legs niya ang sagwa na tingnan kase nangitim yong buong part na yon, both legs ha, tapos nagkaroon din siya sa neck, sa harap ng legs, sa arms, sa likod lahat na yata ng parts ng body niya and ang la-laki pa ha, buti nga nawala na lahat. i didn't know na nakakahawa pala siya. sila ng mama ko ang parating may ganun pabalik-balik.fuchengsu cream lang ginamit namin sa kanya nawawala after 3 to 4 days yon nga lang daming scars and nangingitim nga. nagpabili pa ako maraming fuchecngsu dyan sa atin kase wala dito.

problem ko naman ngayon paano gawin don sa dark scars niya na anlalaki. sa likod ng legs nya, buong part yon, sayang nga maputi pa naman anak ko.

yun bang mamaso yung parang pantal kaya lang mas matambok sya? parang may lamang water sa loob?  may ganito 1 year old son ko.  parang ang tagal na nga na nasa braso nya.

ano ba usually safe ointment ang pwede ilagay mga sis? .....kasi pana panahon eh may months kasi na wala sya ,tpos napansin ko this month meron na naman tumutubo sa kanya ,,,

nagkaganito baby ko bago sya mag 2 yrs old. vco lang ginamit ko kasi takot ako sa mga antibiotic baka masunog balat ng anak ko. sabi dahil sa init lang daw yun kaya lagi sya nakababad sa tubig 3x sya maligo a day. ayun nawala. wala rin sya peklat kasi vco is natural remedy. pati yun pamangkin ko ganun lang din pinagawa ko.

naku, parang ganto yung sa panganay ko ah..akala ko prang simpleng kagat lang ng lamok.pero dumadami den siya..il bring him to his pedia later..sana naman wag mag-peklat..

so sad mga sis..nag mark yung mamaso dun sa tuhod ng anak ko..

Nagkaroon na nito baby ko b4 at naku ngayon bumabalik nanaman dahil tag init nanaman at yung isa sa kambal ko nahawa, prescribe sakanya ng derma ay Dove White everytime na maliligo sya, tapos Benadryl 12.5mg, Amoxicillin Syrup, tapos oitment aftr bath

my baby just had this. he's 5 mos old and 2x cya nag anti-biotic, kase nagreoccur.. sa pangalawang beses, our pedia asked everyone in the household to place bactroban cream sa nostrils and to change his laundry soap to regular tide.

i was so distraught because i take care of him by myself and he still got this.. na awa ako becoz it looks very painful..

my daughter had this too. 2 antibiotic nya kasi bumalik at mas marami nung pangalawa. sa ulo yung sa kanya. doctor prescribed tricort lotion and cloxacillin nung una. tapos lindell lotion and augmentin nung pangalawa. she's fine noe

thank you for the so many feedbacks on MAMASO. My two year old son is suffering from one right now. pinacheck up namin sya sa pedia sa province during the holy week. erythromycin suspension and diprogenta cream ang prinescribed. after 2 days may improvement na pero nung umuwi na kame ng manila, bumalik uli maski he's on the cream medication. nakatulong ng malaki [textspeak!] mga posts nyo sis. contributing factor pala talaga [textspeak!] init and nakakatulong [textspeak!] frequent hand washing. medyo natutuyo na [textspeak!] mamaso ni baby with just continuing diprogenta cream. though, papacheck up pa din namin sya sa pedia. mahirap na magpeklat, sa mukha pa naman [textspeak!] mamaso nya. thanks again.

hi im edge funny isnt it that i signed up here in a girls site..but just wanna ask qng ano mainam n gmot s mamaso? kasi meron [textspeak!] ngaun s armpit q..kala q kagat [textspeak!] ng langgam pero lumalaki...im 21 yrs old..pls do [textspeak!] me..nsa prof q digits q...tnx

my kid sister and kid bro had this before.  ang tagal din nilang nag-suffer dahil dito.  thanfully wala namang marks na namiwan and i hope hindi magkaroon ng ganito yung baby ko

Try Bactroban.  Yan ang ginamit namin sa anak ko before and it worked naman

^ same here Bactroban works fast, good thng sa apaa sya tinubuan, so far walang scars na naiwan.grabe kumalt etp pag pumutok yung madadaanan ng watery liquid nya magiging mamaso din so bilis kumalat.

It normally goes away on its own, however, on severe cases medical attention should be given.
Bactroban (Mupirocin) is the only topical ointment known to cure mamaso in as early as 3 days.
There's now a generic brand for Mupirocin called Foskina which is available on Generika for Php200+

  same here, my 2yr old daughter has abscess on her chest, ang alam ko pigsa coz tumubo sya na parang pantal at mapula. On her 1st day I discovered her abscess, immediately i brought her to his pedia
& prescribed stafloxin suspension antibacterial for 7days but then no improvement. Since the abscess will be on 3rdwk already, her oby decided to send her to a surgeon for surgical incision/drainage to remove the water inside pero wala namang sugat sa labas. My daughter supposedly sched for surgical drainage tom in a well known private hospital. But then I decided to brought her this afternoon to a dermatologist on the same hospital, I'm thinking baka magamot pa sa medication. When derma saw my daughter abscess on her chest, she told me it is "MAMASO" so she prescribed BACTROBAN ointment plus AUGMENTIN suspension antibacterial. We will see for 5days if gagaling her mamaso, if not we will proceed for the surgical incision/drainage of my daughter. I pray na makuha pa sa medication treatment para di na matuloy her s/o coz she's only 2yr old to experience the surgical incision & the pain. Her mamaso will turn 1month on 26June. I will share updates on my daughter case.

i'm sure your child's mamaso or impetigo will be cured by using bactroban.  Bactroban acts like no other anti-bacterial drug.  What it does is prevent the protein in the stap and strep bacteria from multiplying.  Eventually, with no protein the bacteria can't live and will die.

I'm happy to share with you that Bactroban and augmentin suspension cured impetigo of my daughter. Our derma in Medical City advs us to continue to apply bactroban til it is totally cleared and no trace of wound.
