My 2-year old son (going 3 this December) also went through a couple of months of being constipated. Super stressful for all of us. But thank goodness that he has finally gotten past being constipated and now regularly makes bowel movement, usually once a day or once every 2 days. Here's what worked and not worked with my child:

1. Too much fiber can cause constipation, too - removing oatmeal from his diet actually resulted in making his poops a lot softer. He used to eat oatmeal every breakfast.
2. Suppository is just a temporary measure, but doesn't really help.
3. We went on Duphalac/Lactulose therapy for more than a month and slowly tapered it down - it worked!
4. We watered down his toddler milk.
5. Fruits, vegetables, yoghurt, prune juice... didn't really help.
6. We changed his potty chair - he liked the new one better because he was able to spread his legs. This is the potty he uses when he makes poop, even now.
7. We got him potty trained as well, so he now tells us when he feels like making "wiwi" or "poopoo."
8. Oh, and our pedia tried to get us to buy these expensive fiber supplements from him that he says will not fail in making our son's bowel movements regular. He even gave us a sample, but my son hated the taste, so that didn't work out. Honestly, it made me want to switch pedias... I feel like this pedia is just pushing his expensive products on us.

my bunso also has this since nagstart siya ng solids. hay. enfalac sha before kaso ang tigas ng pupu niya and malaki pati! parang pupu ng adult nagdudugo na tuloy bum nya =(

nagtry kami ng suppository and lactose free na milk, more water, papaya, wala.

@crimsonclaw:
If it only started with the starting of solid feeding, then review your supplementary feeding kasi you may be giving your baby something that is making him constipated or kulang ang water intake niya. Do a day to day food diary and see what food makes him constipated.
Milo shouldn't be given to a 10 month old baby. Chocolate yun, e.
Lactose free milk will not help in constipation. Most of the time, nakakaconstipate pa nga lalo ang lactose free milk.
Do not use suppositories since it may lead to dependence and lalo siyang maconstipate.
Lastly, I suggest you ask help from your pedia before trying anything else para maguide ka sa kung ano ang pwede at kung ano ang hindi dapat for a 10 month old baby.
