^day tour lang kami pero mukhang ok naman ang carpark dun sa PICC. may bayad sya kung di ka naman talaga sa corregidor pupunta - pinavalidate namin yung ticket namin dun sa island. buo pa naman yung sasakyan namin pagbalik.

Mga sis ok ba sa Corregidor? My bf and I are planning a day tour/ trip somewhere, and i suggested Corregidor. Napanood ko kasi sa Landmark na tv show at muka namang interesting. This is going to be our first time out of town trip together kaya gusto ko na mag eenjoy kame. Or meron kayong masasuggest na ibang lugar? Beach is not an option po. We're from cavite. ok naman mag-overnight. wala kaming nakita. optional lang naman yung ghost hunting at sunset tour pero enjoy naman. ok din yung beach. inyong-inyo kasi konti lang nag-o-overnight.

ang problema lang nung punta namin, ang ordinary ng food. ang konti ng food choices. tsaka iisa lang ang tv sa hotel.

Thanks sis mrscolunga and sis twix01 for the replies. ano mga activities pwede gawin dun bukod sa pagtingin tingin ng mga historical views don at mga ilang oras ang maspend sa place? another option pala namen is baguio pero day trip lang din, pagkasyahin namen ang maghapon sa pagpasyal dun. Hi sis, anong mas ok yung guided island tour yung sa tram bus or historical walking tour. I'm still undecided kung ano kukunin ko for day tour kasi sabi sa mga blogs mas ok yung walking tour kasi mas matagal yung stay per location unlike dun sa bus saglit lang pero mapupuntahan lahat ng locations sa Corregidor.

What do you think mga sis? And may parking ba sila near docking area ng Sun Cruises? San kayo nagpurchase ng tickets? Pag online ba need pa tumawag for reservation or ok na yung ticket na purchased online? TIA

kami din ng bf ko gusto naming mag corregidor.. naghahanap pa kami ng naka promo yun nga lang mukhang wala.. hehe..

^parang ok din naman sis yung via bus.. kasi bababa naman daw kayo to take pictures.. and so far, wala pang sumasagot sa mga inquiry ko.. hahaha.. sa june 22 sana kami para weekdays..

Is it possible na malibot namin ang lugar withour tour guide? Nabasa ko kasi na sa ferry pa lang may map ng ibibigay e. Mas mura kasi yung ferry transfer lang.. hehe.. thanks! ☺

^i guess it's possible kung may dala kayong bike. Yun nga lang may mga parts na steep at mainit.  Baka ma-heat stroke kayo sa layo nung war memorial. Tsaka sayang yung info nung mga tour guides. Very funny sila.

Just did this last week and enjoy naman. We did yung day tour. Ok naman yung food. Ang pinaka enjoy ko is yung mga monkeys na andun nakakatuwa they are everywhere. Hehe

hi sis! noong time namin wala kaming nakitang monkeys. super enjoy namin ang tour, sana gawing requisite ng decs and makapunta student sa corregidor. you'll go down in history talaga.

I will bring my MIL here and her husband na mahilig sa War any suggestion na nag-to-tour dito? or meron sa site nila mismo? Plus ok ba lahat? maintained pa? High school pako nagpunta dito kasi, field trip ko hehe

Corregidor update: been there last January 2016 with my mom -- ok naman lahat. Yung Sun cruises is operating out at the back of MOA - maganda naman yung port and ok naman yung ferry. Pag weekdays not required ang reservation (pwede walk-in), but mas OK to call the day before kase baka may big tour group on that day tapos di kayo ma-accommodate. Nung nag-walk in kami, we were there around 7am, tapos after 7:30am pa nila naconfirm yung reservation namin. Pag weekends, yun ang kelangan talaga ng reservation. Online payment is available.

Tour: Ang fun nung tour (we used the trams), lalo na pag naassign sa inyo yung kwela na tour guide. Di ko lang bet yung light show, additional Php200 sya kung di nyo kinuha yung package na yun beforehand, tapos sabog yung sound system sa loob - di namin marinig ng maayos yung audio. The island is one big museum, and you can request to stay for longer in one site - just ask nicely.

Food: So-so, may ibang ulam silang di na nirefill (mashed potatoes was replaced with pansit ) but filling naman yung buffet. Madaling kumuha ng pagkain when we were there kase it was a weekday and wala gaanong guests.

Overall: Sulit sya na daytour for me, although it would have been nice if mas matagal pa yung tour kase hindi enough yung ~5hours. Recommended to bring balikbayans and foreigner friends. Plus maayos yung boat (hindi kadiri yung seats and yung CR) and modern naman yung facilities sa island.

Yes highly recommended for those who love history and War stuffs. I really enjoyed it. I am fascinated with history and World War III kasi. Sulit naman. It's like travelling back in time. Yes maintained pa ang island, very scenic ang views. [may part lang sa shore na may mga trash, pero the rest ng island ay maganda pa rin]
