This is the cheaper way of doing the Corregidor trip. Go to Villa Carmen in Cabcaben, Mariveles and ask for a banca for rent. A banca can accomodate 10 people (boatman included) and would cost around P900 to P1400. The rent includes life vest for each passenger and service to and from the island. The rate is fixed per banca so if there's only few of you to do the trip, you will have to pay bigger amount.

If doing a day tour, it is important to leave early in the morning. Because Bataan peninsula is known for being shark infested and having big waves, you should be ready to leave the island before 4pm.

^naku, i havent been to corregidor eh, papunta pa lang sana.. pero imho, sobra na yung 4 days... overnight lang OK na ang visit mo.. unless mag tour ka pa sa ibang historical places like sa Bataan?
