Best places to eat at Tagaytay

tried nurture spa's chicken kare-kare and lumpiang palabok kahapon, ang sarap!  and of course, bag of beans' cheesecake and pies, as always, yummy!

spent the long weekend in tagaytay

T House - nice place! breakfast was so-so
Buon Giorno - pasta was ok. the cold cuts platter was really good
Marcia Adams Tuscany - super sarap ng porkchop. the shrimp appetizer was also yummy
Bawai's Vietnamese kitchen - super worth the trip! make a reservation

i'd have to suggest hawaiian bbq inside the boutique, and bag o' beans, of course. for the latter, i prefer the original rather than the branch near the rotunda, though. i don't know, maybe it has a better the ambiance?

for filipino fare, i'd go with java jazz for merienda (although the main draw for me there would be the mini art exhibit inside the resto rather than the food; still, they serve food with kesong puti and that's always a plus for me) and the newly opened papa prito. and, yah, leslie's, bali, tootsie's  and taalena.

i wouldn't recommend the shabu-shabu place along the road going to java jazz, though. i don't think we got what we paid for.

i'm also not very impressed with mano's, but it can also be because my choices are limited there. then again, it's a greek resto. there should be a lot of veggie dishes, right?

i also changed my mind about sonya's garden being overrated after eating there. medyo na lang, hehe. maganda naman talaga yung place and masarap naman yung food.

i miss sanctuario. i liked their surprising concoctions. and hefty 9at least for me) serving.

lastly, i always enjoy dining at toscana in tagaytay highlands, mainly because they have vegetarian lasagna.

sis san ba yung Rotonda dun? nalilito na kasi ako.... sa Gerry's kasi kami kumakain. ano ba tawag sa lugar ng gerry's/ starbucks?

^rotonda sis yung kanto if you are coming from aguinaldo hiway... you won't miss this spot

the rotunda is the round island in the middle of the intersection (aguinaldo highway-calambia road) where the monument stands. like bratinella said, you won't miss it

yung sa starbucks ba is yung asa robinsons/summit ridge? i think that's still along aguinaldo highway.

oh,yah. yun yung una, right? later na lang nagkaron sa may summit ridge. haha, i try to avoid places that i can go to naman in the metro kasi  except for yellow cab. dear darla is my default food of choice pag tinatamad mag-isip

I can only think of Sonya's Garden, and the buffet sa Josephine's... i'm trying to do research kasi our family's planning to go there on the 11th, e ang laki ng group namin (around 15) so we (or i pala, hehe) will have to make reservations. my tita is kinda set on looking for a buffet place na okay.

will appreciate your feedback mga sis, or kahit suggestions on other restaurants na super-okay in terms of food, kahit di na buffet. thanks so much in advance!
