^^yes, antonio's will always be at the top of my list =) incomparable. included in the top 5 restaurants in asia according to the miele guide. actually it's relatively cheap if you compare it with the other restos in that list.

i like Hawaian BBQ is great! the in the Boutique. also LZM in front of Leslie's. parang Leslie's din food but i think better at mas affordable pa. wala nga lang view ng Taal coz nasa other side of the road kase sya.

hi mga sis...let me share my experience this afternoon sa Antonio's. Me and hubby enjoy Tagaytay so much. Ito yun relaxation namin. We have eaten na sa Vivere..Sonia's...Boutique...Josephine's (my favorite)...forgot the other resto name. This afternoon, we went to Antonio's. Got a vouchers, although for my hubby when it comes to food, price is not an issue..I made a reservation, unluckily binagyo kami..but despite that tumuloy pa rin kami ni hubby kc we want to experience and see what all the raves about. We weren't expecting too much because of the bagyo, so yun view nya alam namin di na namin ma-eenjoy. they texted us confirming the reservation which I confirmed, prior to that I have already told them that i will be using a vouchers (i had two worth Php2000 from Deal Grocer). Nun nasa SLEX na kami my hubby told me to text them again and ask them if they accept card para hindi na kami maghanap ng ATM, kasi alam namin medyo pricey at yun 2k ay hindi enough, they said yes. We arrived at 12:30, and I presented them the vouchers but the girl who greeted hindi kinuha sa akin, we were guided to our table, and they handed us the menu..we picked the mussel as appetizer. Then after a few minutes bumalik yun waiter and he ask for our drinks, nun time na yun sinabi na sa akin ni hubby na iabot ko yun vouchers na nasa table kasi di kinuha nun babae. Kinuha nun waiter after few minutes bumalik sabi its for all day breakfast daw at iba menu, dapat alam na nila yun kasi nun nagpa reserved ako sinabi ko and nun dumating kami inaabot ko sa girl un vouchers at sinabi ko gagamitin namin (MINUS.1), nainis si hubby imagine binawi yun mga regular menus, although maybe hindi nila intention pero yun feeling na parag di namin kaya magbayad ng regular price..pasensya na mga sis baka sensitive lang ako. Sabi tuloy ni hubby..get the most expensive dun sa all day breakfast menu (mayabang din papa ko LOL),kumuha ako ng steak sirloinPhp1,200..si hubby chicken around 700ata then smoothies..then sabi ni hubby, we also ordered mussels kanina. ..sabi ni waiter ay hindi kasama sa voucher yun..sa isip isip ni hubby..ano akala mokong na ito di ko kaya magbayad..lolz..pero sabi na lang nya..no problem, just bring us the mussels. Sirloin is too salty (MINUS 2). Nun magbabayad na kami syempre may additional, my husband handed his card, sabi nang waitress, we only accept card to regular charges not with vouchers.(MINUS 3)..nag text ako sa kanila dapat na inform na ako nun. Somehow napapahiya kami dahil vouchers ang ginamit namin, kung yun ang policy nila there are other ways na ma inform kami at hindi masyado maparamdam sa amin na vouchers gamit namin, pero syempre smile na lang kami. Then un cash bigay ni hubby dapat masusuklian kami ng Php 96, but they gave us Php100,sabi ni hubby..aba! sa atin na lang daw yun 4 pesos,kasi buong 100 binalik..ginawa ni hubby iniwang nya buong 100 (tip)kahit malaki na service charge..eh mayabang talaga papa ko pasensya na LOL. May pera kami dala, but my hubby use his cards to monitor expenses. Alam namin malakas ulan pero sana naman walang tulo (MINUS 4)sa loob ng resto, taginit at tag ulan lang naman sa Pinas, so dapat napag handaan na nila repair whatever repair sa loob. On our way out, ang lakas ng ulan at hangin..pero nobody from staff offered or even handed us umbrella para makapunta sa main door (kasi may part na lalabas ka sa resto parang garden dadaanan mo,stairs) Ni wala man lamang nagsabi na thank you for coming..para bang tapos na kayo kumain bahala na kayo sa buhay nyo, madulas kayo dyan..lol(MINUS 5) buti pa yun security guard ng via mare sa timog lagi handa payong para ihatid ka sa car. Limang piso lang katapat..pero db standard yun pag umulan at walang payong customer, un staff or guard aalalayan ka papunta sa car?

PLUSSES ng Antonio's..masarap un bread, mussels,chicken good enough but not spectacular..smoothies..mas masarap sa TGIF or Chili's...friendly si Antonio, he greeted customer pagka upo sa table but I wish nag table visit sya nun habang kumakain kami or after...sasabihin ko kasi too salty and chewy yun sirloin ko... hahahha

^sis you don't eat breakfast at antonio's. you eat lunch or dinner. but other than that, baka misunderstanding lang about the voucher. whenever we eat there during lunch or dinner kasi, we never used vouchers. same with all my friends and family who swears by antonio's excellent food =)

my suggestion, next time you try the food in their original resto. not the breakfast. its entirely a diff experience =)

^ang alam ko sis close na yung Breakfast @ Antonio's, combine na sa main Antonio's resto...nandun na rin yung breakfast...nandun na sila pareho sa Neogan, Tagaytay

^ hindi pa close ang breakfast at antonios. and i think never icclose yun or immerge with their resto.

medyo fine dining naman kasi sa breakfast at antonios while sa antonios parang regular resto lang with home-style food, the last time we went there (bfast at antonios) they were actually expanding pa the place so imposibleng isara naman nila.

i agree with vhanya, breakfast from the main antonios resto is far from yung breakfast at antonios mismo.

^sis, iba pa yung home style food ng antonio's. that's antonio's grill. 3 resto nila. antonio's grill, breakfast at antonio's and fine dining antonio's restaurant. the antonio's grill is good too. especially the crispy bulalo =) but im talking about the fine dining of antonio's resto in their main resto. the antonio's breakfast is also not fine dining and my least fave of the 3. its a separate resto sa baba ng main resto ng antonio's (malapit sa garden)

but then yung breakfast at antonios parang imposibleng mag-close or imerge with their other restos.

before kasi breakfast at antonio's is in the same resto as the antonio's fine dining kasi di pa gawa yung resto sa baba. baka dun kayo nakakain kaya you thought it's fine dining but actually, separate yung menu ng main antonio's resto but same location hehe. baka na confuse ka =)

^ ang breakfast at antonios na napupuntahan namin is yung nasa looban pa, just like sonyas, i dunno kung anong tawag dun sa place i just know how to get there

^yup that's it nga. that's the main resto sis and also where breakfast at antonio's is located. bale 2 resto sa location na yan sa brgy. neogan. yung super looban. yung breakfast at antonio's is located below the main resto. nasa malapit sa garden, small lang siya =) but since its new, baka you dined before sa main resto nila but on a separate menu. they only give you the breakfast menu during breakfast time and then give you the main resto menu during lunch and dinner =)
