Best places to eat at Tagaytay

I miss Tagaytay. I wish we can go next weekend!

Hi sisses! Which places can you recommend for a nice lunch, merienda, and dinner in Tagaytay? Paki-include narin ang price range... Hehe. Hubs and I will make a sidetrip to Tagaytay kasi for the last leg of our anniv trip.

Since we'll be staying sa Taj, I'm thinking dun nalang siguro kami mag-dinner. Has anyone tried their food there? Is it any good? Price range po?

Decided to narrow down my options... I'm thinking:

Lunch: Manos Greek Taverna
Merienda: Bag of Beans
Dinner: Taj of Tagaytay

How much should be our budget in each place? It'll just be me and my hubby. TIA!

i'd strongly suggest lunch at Buon Giorno at The Cliffhouse for u sis.. they serve italian cuisine(obviously.. hehe) and the price is not bad..

for me and the boyf, we spent 1k+ for a filling meal with 2 glasses of wine na.. i guess what's special about this place is the ambience.. as soon as u step in.. u'll feel relaxed plus it overlooks the taal.. very romantic setting if i may say so..

Manos can be a bit busy during lunch time so it takes away the ambience factor

How much do you usually spend on a dinner for 2 at Antonio's? Is it worth the price ba?

my husband and i had dinner at antonio's for the first time last night.

we had proscuitto, pear arugula salad with foie gras, soup, angus beef prime rib (good for 2), chocolate souffle, red wine, all for about 6800.

we thought it was worth it. super sarap ng lahat. the foie gras and steak were really, really good.

my chef-cousin said it's one of the very few places he enjoys dining at.

i wanna try bawai (pag na-miss ko din ang vietnamese) & taj.

wala ako maisip na ok na eating place sa tagaytay. even sonja's garden, hindi naman masarap (overrated!)

The best for me are 'The Boutique' restaurant, their ribs are the best! Mushroom Burger is the 2nd one

na aaddict ako sa sonya's garden, lalo na sa red pasta sauce at dun sa bread and dip. saka yung dessert na camote.

has anyone tried the cheese hopia there? ang sarap!

yes sis pede.. a lot of my friends did that before.. some even just checked their boutique kasi they sell ilog maria products then picture2 na.. haha

they're very welcoming there.. not strict at all.. although, they have signs reminding people not to make too much noise.. they just wanna maintain the serenity of the place

Waah, lalo akong nagke crave ng mushroom burger! di ba may mushroom burger sa west avenue? sana bukas pa. wala naman akong oras mag tagaytay.

I guess pwede ngang pumunta dun sa sonya's na picture and libot lang (except dun sa bed and breakfast area, which is for those na naka check in). pero parang dyahe naman pumunta dun for photo ops lang, di naman yun park, hehe.

saka sayang naman byahe if you're not going to try the bread. at least. promise, ang sarap talaga! sa mga natikman ko, aside from the cheese hopia, favorite ko yung choco muffins, buddha de oro? (basta yung may chocolate sa gitna), pinwheel at chocolate chip cookies.

Mushroom Burger! Yummy talaga. Tapos nung inumin nila na may mushroom at gelatin, medyo naweirduhan ako. But then, nagustuhan ko rin kasi it's healthy naman. Dami nakain dito especially pag Sunday.

For good Filipino food, I recommend Antonio's Grill.  I love their bulalo and paksiw na bangus topped with chicharon.

We were 10 yesterday and our bill amounted to P5000++.  Not bad.
