We had 1 year old male patient today.

Head circumference = 72cm.

Born to a G2P1 (1001) 18 year old female whose husband (hindi kasal) keeps leaving her.

60cm ang limit for VP shunts.

The mother keeps crying. She says she loves her baby very much, but she doesn't have any money for scans and other materials.

I hope pumayang ang Neuro Surgery to do the shunt. Or she'll watch her baby die. Gah. 

RH bill, bakit ang tagal mo. T_T

I feel sorry for the mother. Let's hope for the best for both the mom & the baby.

16/F PU 36 weeks AOG.

Ang tatay ng baby ay isang 31/M that she met through text.

Still bothers me even now, several hours after the consult.

And I thought desensitized na ko, with my poker face everyday and all.

Hindi pa rin pala.

If you're really excited about going into medical school, huwag ka magpapaapekto sa mga nababasa or naririnig mo. It will test you kung desidido ka, or hindi.

Anxiety will be there before you get into Med. But once you start med school, mawawala na yung kaba mo.

^ Sa Dec. 2-3 pa ang Orals namin. We're done with the written exams since Oct. 15. However, hindi pa nare-release yung results ng written.

Mas mura lang ang tuition if Manilan resident ka. Like more than 10k ata ang discount sa tuition per sem =p

hay isipin na lang natin na yung mga daga ay may silbi pag dating sa pagdagdag ng knowledge natin.

^sabagay, mammals pa din naman sila, so possibleng same body reactions as humans kaya sila ang tinetest, lalu na sa pharma. oo nga, may silbi naman pala ang mga daga sa medicine
