^ agree. i used to be a lurker in 2003 and that time, madami talagang masaya, matalino, may sense. madaming debates. it was different then, i have to agree.

though i gotta say i think until 2006 okay pa eh. but then again, the old members started disappearing.

is it just me or did GT suddenly become chaotic?

the quality of people lang talaga i think. yeah iba talaga gt way way back 2000 or before pa the topics were classy, gt seemed so elite the members were all respectful even if you didnt think of claiming respect it was given. travel to other forums gt was up there now nyar nakakasad nakaka umm errr hinayang sige pambawi may product endorsement na from goldilocks hahaha.  naku even the seemingly intellectual peeps that most patronize on gt naku mas mataas pa level nang baha pa kesa sa kanila. i guess people had more of a heart din noon.

wala signs of the times imagine ilang beses na nabastos ang gt rin as a whole when stories started getting lifted from the site for other agencies to use tapos next, ito alternicks covens posers. exciting pang csi.

Sad lang kase I personally know one girl from aika's blog (buti na lang walang photo!). Pero are they sure na lahat ito may kasalanan? Baka kase 1 o 2 lang may gawa, damay-damay na? Hindi sa I'm defending my friend ha, pero I know her, na hindi naman sya gagawa nang ganung bagay.

I just finished reading their blog (yung sa link ni aika). Grabe nga naman. May mga "codename" din sila sa fellow GTers. I said "din" dahil hindi ko naman ikakaila na I do have "code names" sa mga taong nakakainis. Pero sa EB lang yun lumalabas or sa YM, at hindi naman ganun ka-mean.

hehe yeah and parang di mo naman didibdibin yung mga ganyan kaya kagulat. meron pang .rar file di ko alam pano yun eh tanungin ko kung pano yun. i wonder sino yung cleanup lady na tinutukoy nila ibig sabhin kaya nun na shes an indestructible force, a higher up  than the mods?

Well, I guess it's time I came out. Yes, I was one of the first members of that group. I think I was also one of the first (of the many) who went out. Siguro without spelling it out, you girls (especially the ones na matagal ko nang kasama and kasabayan here sa GT and this particular thread) know me well enough to see why I wouldn't want to stay in such a group.

What's sad about it is that it started out all fun, alam niyo na, fans kayong lahat tapos sabay kayong kinikilig tapos it snowballed into something else. Oh of course, meron yung typical na hindi niyo feel si ganyan ganito pero shallow level lang at first, tipong kasi fan siya ni Jacob, not Edward, or feeling niyo hindi kayo magka-"vibes" as fans. I mean, let's be honest, may ganun talaga di ba, kahit sa mga TV show threads? Tapos minsan badtrip kayo kay mod ganyan kasi feeling niyo pinipigilan kayo sa mga pakulo niyo. Ganung klaseng petty stuff. Aminin natin o hindi, medyo masaya kasi feeling bonded kayo. Pero as I said, mababaw lang na asaran, kilig and inis, wala dapat personalan. Eh kaso naging personal.

I think things started to change right about the time I switched companies kaya laking gulat ko when I touched base with them again halos di ko na marecognize yung grupong sinalihan ko. That Multiply site really took the cake. Nung una we were discussing the decision of a mod to take down one thread. Siyempre asar lahat, kahit ako asar na asar, feeling ko may favoritism eklat. Suffice to say I got carried away by my emotions. Pero it all came to a screeching halt for me nung masyado nang personal ang comments. So I just walked away.

Kung hindi lang ako sobrang busy nun, they might have gotten more than just a shrugging of the shoulders and a simple walking away from me - more like a straight-up, in-your-face earful (or eyeful) siguro. As it was, I was so busy then and thought it wasn't worth it. Kung alam ko lang na andami pala nilang masasaktan, I would have done something, notified someone, or whatnot. Kaso what's done is done and I'm just glad that I've already established friends here in GT before I met them. Kung hindi, baka na-disillusion ako ng todo.

And mooncake, I'm so touched naman na di ka makapaniwala that I joined that group. Like, yeah, really, so touched forevah! Hehe.

But the sad reality is, minsan groups like these really start out fun and fresh tapos evolve into something else. Such is the case with this one.

So I heard from my friend na rin. Syempre I wouldn't pick side. Inamin naman nya na nagkamali rin sya in a way. Enough na na narinig ko ang kwento from her. Pero bygones na sana. I know the remarks there were way below the belt. Pero kung papansinin nyo, nangyari yun March pa, 7 months nang nakakaraan. Sa pagkaintindi ko, there were apologies made and accepted at that. So sana wala nang siraan. There are more things in life na dapat pag-aksayahan ng panahon. Yes, may nasaktan at nakasakit, pero pano matatapos kung ayaw tantanan ang issue?

At ito lang ha: Those things were meant to be PRIVATE CONVERSATIONS. At ako bilang tao, as I posted previously, hindi naman ako magpapaka-impokrita at sasabihing hindi ako naiinis sa mga ibang Girltalker na nakakasalamuha ko from time to time (with you girls as an exception). Pero syempre I choose my medium, may YM naman at EB with you girls (like naiinis ako kay *toot*, si tequila kay *toot* at si mooncake kay *toot*). This has already been one tough lesson for these people. Let's just spare them further ridicule. And sana stop reposting the blog and the conversation na. Aminin natin, some of these people may maganda namang na-share sa GT. At kahit wala ng moderators (as of the moment), balik natin sa dati ang GT. Yung walang bangayan (as much as possible) at nagmamahalan. Cheesy, yeah, pero posible, right?
