@bugs, yes sis there's a way to adjust the backlight of Kindle paperwhite. Nasa settings may lightbulb icon, once you select it may adjuster siya. To go brighter or dimmer.

Mga sis question, ang daming bubbles ng screen ng kindle ko. Hindi ko alam kung screen protector ba yon? May screen protector na ba nilalagay ang amazon sa kindle pag deliver?

^when our kindles fire (hubby and i) arrived hindi pa nakakabit yung protector...we had to put it on. after that we had to remove the plastic sheet on top of the protector. this plastic sheet maraming bubbles. after alisin unti na lang yjng bubbles sa sides na lang ang natakpan na ng hardcase. if there is a colored tab sa upper side ng kindle mo then may plastic pa yung protector. if none try using a screen cloth to gently push the air bubbles to the side.

^i asked hubby in-add lang daw sa pagbili so hindi talaga siya kasama or nakakabit pagdating nung kindle...bare yung kindles pagdating...nagmomove ba yung bubbles sa screen mo if you push with a screen cloth?

ah if it moves then baka may screen protector nga sya...try the edges if you can find them and either restick or replace kasi nakakainis yung bubbles eh :/ yung sa akin hinayaan ko na yung natatakpan ng sleeve kasi hindi talaga sya maperfect eh

sis i got my kindle replaced na i chatted with amazon's CUstomer rep and they suggested i return it back and ask for replacement.the next day na-deliver na new kindle ko then iship ko na lang ang damaged item tom free postage naman so ok lang I 'm so happy na!

grabe inikot ko na yung sm north wala talaga akong makitang case na kakasya sa paperwhite. puro pang 7inches. kakainis naman tong si amazon, iba yung sukat T_T saan pa ba kayo nakakabili ng case bukod sa amazon mismo? gusto ko sana ng ganito:

i ordered kindle paperwhite (wifi w/ ads) last week from a reseller in sulit.com. P6800 + 200 shipping fee. hassle free transaction & I'm loving my new toy.

I had the Kindle Keyboard way back 2011 but I sold it even though I didnt want to for financial reasons.

Now, I my sister gave me her preloved Kindle 4 with ads (which she bought in Singapore from a reseller). I still prefer the keyboard. No hassle when I wanna take note of something, etc.

Anyway, lines started to form when I accidentally dropped it (hindi naman mataas, light lang pagkahulog). I got worried because gift nga sa akin kasi hindi na talaga ma ayos-ayos. When I contacted customer service, they said I was eligible for a replacement (thank God!). Imagine, kahit sa reseller lang namin binili and take note, with ads pa siya which means it's not for international sale. For US lang dapat. Yet they told me na papalitan plus sila pa magbabayad ng shipping ng replacement ko. THe best customer service talaga ang Amazon!

Hindi ba nakaka-strain sa eyes yung light ng Kindle paperwhite? Sabi sa Amazon hindi daw kasi nasa ibabaw ng text yung light. I just want to hear from actual users. After you read, hindi nyo ba naffeel na lumabo yung mata or napagod?

Smooth ba ang page turns sa Kindle? I used to own a Sony eReader and nagfflicker every page turn. Nakakastress din kasi sa eyes pag every page turn, magiging black yung screen mo for a split-second bago lumabas yung page.
