Amazon Kindle

So I finally bought the newest in the Kindle family the Kindle DX.  I've loaded it with most of my medical library (which is 2gbs of pdfs) plus around a hundred mp3s.  The external speakers certainly surpass my expectations. 

Earlier this afternoon I subscribed to the NEJM and bought my first Kindle book..amazing!

^From what I've been reading, locally it's Smart that provides the network coverage for the Amazon Kindle.

gusto ko din to. napaisip ako, sana nuon pa meron. kasi dami ko books naiwan sa parents house na ngpupulbos na sa luma. lol saka para to save trees.

You have to order it through Amazon's website. Even here in the US, they don't sell the Kindle in stores, only through Amazon.

really sis? that's good! i really want to buy this but they say di daw pwede yung mga downloaded ebooks, yung purchased books lang daw sa amazon.. if that's possible naman pala, go na ko dito! yippeeee!

Dko cya nagustohan. Ang pangit kasi ng itsura when it first came out tapos ang daming nag review about it na Amazon took there ebooks via the air that they already bought. It's like they where only paying the ebooks for rent. Also before you can't sideload the ebooks you have to Kindle. But now, you can with the help with Calibre. And the new ones you can drag and drop na daw your pdfs ebooks on Kindle. And the look of Kindle now is much better than it was before....but I still don't like it. No offense na may Kindle. I don't like those close product kasi, I prefer the Sony's or Nook. Or my own eBook reader which is the generic Astak Maroon 5" EZ Reader Pocket Pro.

wow, parang naeengganyo ako mag-ebook reader ah. i'm not very familiar with the technology though, so i'll research some more. dati kasi, naninindigan ako na gusto ko na actual books ang binabasa .. pero pwede na rin, para mas mapabilis pagkuha ko ng new books.

ang ebook readers ba, kaya niya ang mga illustration ng tech books? photoshop, php, dreamweaver?
