Hello mga sis..i just underwent a d&c procedure (raspa) due to endometrial polyp. This is my first operation ever! Hindi sa spinal tinurok yung anesthesia ko, kasi dapat daw 6hrs na nkahiga after the procedure pag ganun. Eh hindi ako nagpa admit, since tight ang budget, out patient lang ako. Pinadaan lang sa dextrose yung anesthesia. Bigla na lang ako nawalan ng malay, naramdaman ko na lang tinataas na paa ko. Tapos may times na may nararamdaman akong pain tapos umuungol yata ako. Di ko na alam nangyari. Basta naramdaman ko na lang din parang binuhusan ako ng tubig sa baba siguro hinugasan na tapos nilipat na ko sa recovery room. 14k lang binayaran ko less philhealth na yun. 1pm ginawa yung procedure then mga 4pm umuwi na ko at eto nagpapahinga na sa bahay while composing this message. Pahinga lang daw muna at bawal magtravel at magbuhat ng mabigat in a week. Sana next na dalhin ako sa OR eh due to giving birth na. Baby dust sa lahat!

Hi mga sis need ko magpa raspa this week kasi per last visit sa OB at 10 weeks nag stop na mag grow si baby at wala ng heartbeat si baby. 

Sa totoo lang nung announce nya na wala ng heartbeat si baby nagblock out ako.  Hindi ko na naiintindihan yung mga sinasabi nya sobra pinipigilan ko umiyak.  Hawak hawak lang ni hubby yung kamay ko.  Pag labas namin sa clinic nung nasa kotse na kami dun na bumuhos lahat ng emosyon ko. Sobra parang gumuho mundo ko.  Kahit 12 weeks pa lang sobrang sakit sa pakiramdam.  Matagal na kami naghihintay ng baby pero ngayon na binigay kinuha agad.  Sabi not meant pa may darating pa.  Pero until now di ako makatulog sa kakaiyak.

Today, pumasok pa ako para asikasuhin yung philhealth ko at yung mga iiwan kong trabaho balak ko magbakasyon ng until 60 days.

^sis i feel you. I had 2 miscarriages 2013 ^ 2014. I am currently 5 or 6 weeks pregnant now and nag spotting ako yest at di ko na din alam what to expect or feel. If you need someone to talk to, just message me sis.

medyo may masakit pa rin sa akin and nang na aching ako kanina may gumuhit na pain, is it normal? wala pa result ng urinalysis ko and medyo di ko nasunod yung total rest after the d and c procedure. akala ko kasi ok na ako kasi walang pain but after several days masakit na

 wala naman akong pain na naramdaman after pero till now may pahabol konting konti lang naman.

lagpas 1 week na after ma d & c.  wala nga talagang mararamdaman kasi papatulugin at nagising na lang ako sa rcovery room.

I had my d&c due to anembryonic pregnancy as well last dec 28 at SLGC. Total cost was 40k+ (out patient).

40k all in na, including PF ?

share ko lang I got DnC last dec 30 5months on my way, buo na talaga si baby
i took ultrasound no heart beat na kasi dec 29 nagbleeding na ako at pumutok waterbag ko.
and it was sad as a mother na nawala baby mo, sabi ng ob ko di pa daw ako pede magbuntis kasi 1 yr pa lang Twins ko at ceasarian ako baka daw pumutok matris ko kasi Fresh pa daw. mga 2 to 3 yrs pa daw pede sundan.
I have aa CONCERN lang po, after na maraspa ako, back to normal period ko
last Feb. so far OK naman pero sobrang pain [textspeak!] naramdaman ko mas matindi sa Dysmenorrhea
pero inignore ko, last month March mas sobra naman yung pain on the right side sobra tindi na halos
bed ridden na ako for 2 days. my question is yung pain ba cause ba yun na niraspa ako?

I can't help but cry while reading this thread, I feel like I'm reliving what happened in my first pregnancy.  I need the D&C procedure done again in my 2nd pregnancy (current).

I'm looking for info on D&C at other hospitals. My doctor doesn't accept package e 80 to 90k+ yung quote sakin. Parang too much yun (this is at MMC).

Currently, checking out SLGC. Still not finished backreading. But if you have OB and hospital recs. Pa-share sana. Thanks.

I'm still on ML due to early embryotic demise that happened to me last month. As per LMP, I'm on my 13th week but as per TVS I'm on my 6th week and on my 1st and 2nd TVS, there's no cardiac activity and since i was bleeding (more on spotting naman) already for a week i was advised to undergo the D&C procedure. I had my check-ups in Medical City but upon learning that the procedure is not covered by my HMO card, i asked my OB in TMC for other option but the option is also expensive (we have to prepare 40k). Good thing, a friend referred me to Dra. Lee of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. I was admitted (1st day) in the afternoon and I underwent D&C by night and was discharged on the 3rd day. Total bill was 25k plus minus 11k (Philhealth) so we just paid almost 14k (all in).

^i underwent D&C last april 28-29, 2015 due to incomplete abortion. 11th week na dapat. Sa VT Maternity Hospital ako na D & C, since dun din OB ko, si Dr. Justin Tansinsin.

Total Bill = 25k
-we paid 14,480 after Philhealth deductions.

 Before nun, normal naman pregnancy ko, healthy naman ako pero nagspontaneous bleeding ako tapos kinabukasan nagpacheckup sa ob. Sa tvs nakita ng sonologist na wala na daw baby. So yun nag d and c para matanggal pa yung natirang mga laman sa loob.

I had general anesthesia, wala ako naramdaman. Although medyo masakit after nung magwear off na yung anesthesia.

Iyak iyak ako nang iyak for several days. Hindi naman tuloy tuloy pero naiiyak ako pag naaalala ko na nawala ang babies namin. We were supposed to have twins and we lost both.

Medyo malungkot pa rin ako, 1 week na ang nakalipas sa ngayon. Pero medyo natatanggap ko na. Ang madalas ko na lang kinakalungkot yung naiinggit ako sa mga mommies na may kasamang bata.

We stayed for 1 night sa hospital. Semi-private room, kasama ang food. Malinis at malamig naman A/C. Wala nga lang TV at ref.

After ko makauwi, hindi na ako talaga nag bleed. Pero kinabukasan until yesterday nakakaexperienceako ng spotting feeling ko dahil kung saan saan ako namamasyal. Di naman ako binawalan ng OB na magtravel basta wag lang daw magbubuhat ng heavy objects.

Excited na akong makarecover.excited na ako matapos yung 2 cycles ko. Kasi gusto ko, makabuo na uli kami.

Tomorrow checkup ko kay Dr. Tansinsin.

Overall ok naman sa CGH bait ng mga nurse na nag assist sa akin mismong anes nagturok ng dextrose sa akin manipis ang veins ko kaya pang bata na karayon ginamit nilipat pa sa left na kamay ko.  Mas matagal pa ako naghintay sa OB ko kaysa sa procedure.  Paggising ko nasa recovery room na ako.  Nagpilit pa ako umupo ayun nag bleed ako pero ok lang naman daw yun napwersa lang. higa lang daw muna ako. 8 am ako pinasok sa operating room nakauwi kami before lunch.

Sobra ang iyak nung nasa car kami at lalo nung pag-uwi sa house.  Pero wala naman kasi kami magagawa na tapos na, wala na.

Ngayon ttc na kami ulit at pumapasok na ako sa office.

had my d&c yesterday at Mary Johnston Hospital in tondo, manila..
si dra. recio ang OB ko, super bait and maasikaso sya.
11,300 less philhealth na ang gastos.
anyway, I lost my baby last year so, ttc kami ni hubby pero nangyari sakin tumaba ako kaya kumapal ang lining ng uterus. nag bleed ako for almost 2 months. waiting na lang makarecover para makagawa na ulit. always be positive sissies!

Hi mga sis.
Ngayon ko lang nakita thread n to.

Anyways, nagstart period ko nung april 4 as in ang lakas buo buo [textspeak!] sya. Hanggang nung april 16 nahilo n ko, check nila dugo ko at ang hemoglobin ko 87 na lang (normal ay 120-160) so my OB dra wong ngdecide na sya na ma-admit ako. Btw, sa DLSUMC ako naconfine. Sinalinan ako ng dalawang bags ng dugo. After non d&c na. After iturok yung anes doble doble na paningin ko at kinakausap ako ng nurse di ko na maigalaw ng ayos dila ko. Tapos ayun na NEVER ako nakaramdam ng pain during the procedure. Mahimbing ang tulog ko. Nagising ako sa recovery room naiihi kasi ako. Ayun then nilipat na ako sa room. Sabi ni hubby ang tagal ko daw kasi 10pm ako dinala sa or then 2am na ako nakabalik sa room. Diagnosis sa akin ay anemia 2nd degree. (Di ko alam kung tama pagkakabasa ko) at abnormal uterus bleeding. Babalik ako sa ob sa 29 sana ok result ng biopsy. Lahat lahat nasa 40k pero since may healthcard ako 31peso lang binayaran namin.

^if I may answer po, wala po sa name ng healthcard yan. Nasa coverage nyo po yan. May company kasi na malawak ang coverage, sakop pati pregnancy, facial, dental (ortho pa minsan). Depende po sa inavail ng company nyo or inavail mo if voluntary ka po HTH!

I'm still here sa VT waiting for my OB to give clearance so I can go home. I had my d&c yesterday kasi no cardiac activity na ang baby. 2nd d&c ko, 1st was back in 2007 due to blighted ovum.

Thinking positive na lang to have a baby soon.

mga sis for those with multiple miscarriages plus inability to have child, baka may APAS kayo.
i havent fully read this articles (as to its accuracy) but this might help you understand about it. it's a possible cause. i think there's a thread about APAS here somewhere, i've seen it before.
