Im new here. Nakunan ako nung friday and my OB said na kailangan ko magparaspa. Kaya lang im worried na baka mahal. we planned na sa goverrnment hospital magparaspa.

Hi. I have a live in partner, i got pregnant last year but unfortunately nakunan ako. Nagpa-raspa ako kasi 3 mos na ang baby ko. Nag pa check up ako sa OB after ko makunan, niresetahan po nila ako ng depotrust. Dalawang beses lang po ako nakapag inject, after 3 mos since nung last inject ko nagdecide po ako mag pills, Trust po tinitake ko and now pang 6 pack ko na po. Ok lang po ba na ngshift ako sa pills ? And ano po marerecommend nyo na pills, gusto ko po kasi sana magtry ng iba. Thanks. Hoping for your reply.

hi! ok lang naman sa government hospital magparaspa, yun lang you really have to be strong kasi hindi sila ganun like sa mga private or even semi-private hospitals. ako sa government hospital lang din, i used my philhealth. ang binayaran ko lang ata yung mga lab tests ko. yung gamot din pala but reimbursable naman kasi sa office. hindi na ako nag-private or semi-private kasi ok din naman mga doctors sa government hospitals. sa amang rodriguez hospital ako, sis

Student palang po kasi ako. Tapos sabi sa amang rodriguez 15k daw po ang aabutin ko dahil magststay po ako sa hospital ng apat na araw daw po bakit po ganun?

^4 days? ako parang 2 nights lang ako nag-stay dun e. kaso sa ward ako and not sa private rooms nila. yung first night i was just outside the delivery room kasi hinihintay lumambot cervix ko, then the next morning ako na-raspa. before lunch nasa ward na ako. spent the night there tapos the next day, by lunch time discharged na ako. may philhealth ka ba? kasi kung wala, malamang nga may magagastos ka pa rin. kasi ginamit ko philhealth ko kaya wala akong ginastos, sis.

When i talked to the nurses in cardinal santos, they said most d&c patients dont even stay overnight post-procedure. Mejo surprised nga sila that i wont be discharged on the same day i was admitted. Btw, my case profused bleeding. Sobrang lakas ng mense ko nun.

Bebeng -4 days? bakit naman ganun katagal sis. natanong mo ba kung bakit? Daig pa halos ang na CS. ako yung na D&C ako, 11AM, then nakauwi na kami ng 8PM ata.

twelve5 - naku po, ang mahal naman nun. grabe managa pati sa PF si OB. ako yung na d&C ako, parang na gastos namin eh 29K. (private room), 9k yung PF ni OB, tapos si anes eh 6k ata. less philhealth na yan. stayed there for 9 hours lang. sa Las Pinas Doctors ito pala.

binapot - sis, i suggest pa check mo nalang sa OB mo.ask for their recommednation. sila mas may nakakaalam kung ano dapat itake mo na pills, or kugn safe mo agad mag shift sa pills.

katrinac, swerte nyo you didnt spend as much as i did... Let my case be a warning to others nalang. Hehe... Research research muna ng rates before undergoing d&c or any other procedures.

I never thought i would post on this thread but here I am....

LMP ko was Dec 18, 2013 had my 2nd TVS last Feb 28 and may sac ng nakita pero prior to that I was bleeding..yung parang normal spotting lang. My OB didnt ask me to continue with duphaston, not to prolong the agony. sabi nya kung mabubuo, mabubuo yan, she just advised me to take a 2 week bed rest again...kaninang umaga 1st wiwi, napansin ko na mdjo maraming blood...so nag napkin ako hanggang sa hindi na tumigil and sobrang sakit ng puson ko,,,para akong may dysmenorrhea na nag lalabor na hindi ko maintindhan. tapos nagwiwi ako and may blood clot na lumabas na parang may kasamang sipon (sorry kung kadiri) and i was able to catch it and iyak nko ng iyak [textspeak!] I know that it was my baby...

I am reading this thread kung need ko ba mag D&C pero parang hindi naman dahil nsa early stage of pregnancy plang ako and nag bleed naman ako naturally tama ba? will go back to my OB tomorrow pa [textspeak!]. hope you guys can enlighten me

^i'm so sorry to hear of your loss, sis 

ganyan din yung case ko, sac lang and walang embryo. nag-bleed din ako. pero walang lumabas na blot clot. so nung ni-check ako ni OB ko, sabi niya kailangan ko pa rin maraspa kasi may natira pa. i hope you get to see your OB soonest, sis. siya lang ang makakapagbigay ng tamang advice sayo. be strong, sis.

Ang sakit pala talaga.... the blood clot that i was able to catch wasn't the sac pala. sabi [textspeak!] ni OB, ang sac daw hindi sha katulad ng blood na pag hinawakan mo or pinisil mo nagiiba...ang sac is kahit anong gawin mo hndi sha madedeform. I was able to have my check up yday and will go back on Sat for the TVS kung need ba iraspa or [textspeak!] ng daanin sa gamot. If i was bleeding profusely or nilalagnat, yun daw yung mga cases na need iraspa agad. In my case naman, normal naman ako...I'll just make kwento ha. yday when we got home, i felt the need to pee tpos may lumabas. sabi ni OB dapat daw tinago ko yung nakuha ko the first time to have it tested...so sbe ko yday ay wag na hindi ko na sha sasaluhin...so i was about to clean when I felt something...sbe ko sa sarili ko ah baka natira dun sa lumabas so hinila ko and ang laki nya and it was the sac...called the dr and ask what i would do with it, she asked me to put it in a glass jar and place alcohol and dadalhin ko sha sa sat. she asked if i bled when it went out pero wala naman so she just told me to rest again...sorry mahabang kwento.

I just want to ask magkano yung biopsy? I lost my baby at 6weeks. It's been a week ndin akong naraspa need ko daw yun pra mprocess yung SSS ko..

I underwent d&c last december due to profuse bleeding. Ayaw mag stop ng period ko. I just checked my bill sa cardinal santos, histopath for large mass was P3,200+. So i hope that gives you an idea.

I just had d & c last nov 3rd two days after [textspeak!] naman akong nararamdamang kakaiba...pero starting on the 4th or 5th day post operative...masakit pa din balakang ko..although wala ng bleeding...is this normal?? i had fractional d & c due to cervical polyps...before naman wala akong nararamdamang ganito so i am assuming na dahil ito sa raspa? pls.reply po kung may same experience kau...salamat

I just had my d&c this morning at dra. lilian lim-madrona's clinic in don antonio. Nung first time ko sya makausap, very warm sya and todo explain sa procedure so dun na ko nagpasched ng raspa. Ang schedule ko is 9 am, monday. Eto na, we arrived at around 9:05 am sa clinic. Ang andun lang is yung secretary nya which is okay lang naman kasi sabi rin ni dra. after 30 mins. pa sya darating since magprepare pa kami nung secretary/nurse/assistant nya. Aba naman, nung papasok na kami sa clinic, ang salubong ba naman samin nung secretary eh may pinapabili daw samin si dra. na gauze and ventopath kasi nnaubusan daw sila. Dun pa lang, nainis na ko. Aga-aga eh ganun sasalubong samin. Mano ba namang yung secretary nya ang utusan nyang bumili pero sige dahil ayoko namang masira agad ang umaga ko at katapat lang naman ng clinic yung mercury drug, ako na bumili. nainis rin yung partner ko kasi bat daw kami pa yung bibili samantalang wala namang ginagawa  yung secretary maliban sa magdrawing ng kilay nya sa counter. Nung nakabili na kami ng gauze, sabi nya dapat daw yung mas malaki. sinabi ko na lang na wala nang mas malaki pa kasi ayoko nang bumalik sa mercury then i also told her na out of stock yung ventopath nila which is true naman. Worried naman si secretary. Ang pinakanakakainis nyan, humirit pa sya na "wala ba syang car?" pointing at my partner. Gusto pa nya utusan yung bf ko sus. I answered "wala", yung mataray talaga. Tumahimik naman sya. Around 10 am, dumating na si dra. Nung pagpasok ko dun sa room, may adult diaper na nakalatag dun sa operating bed na may amag na. tsk. During the procedure, okay naman na though napapangiwi ako kahit may anesthesia. I can really feel na kinakayod eh. Pagkagising ko and nung nagwear off na yung anesthesia, sinabi lang sakin na ubusin yung gamot ko na methergine, antibiotics and mefenamic acid. yun lang. Good for 2 days lang yung methergine na binigay nya. Nung umalis na kami ni bf, kwento nya sakin is 18k yung binayad nya tas yung gamot, imbes na resetahan na lang sya eh binigay na lang agad sa kanya at kasama na dun sa bill. 15k+ yung unang quote samin kaya nagulat ako. pagtingin ko dun sa bill, may nakalagay na histopath. Yun siguro yung nagpalobo ng bill namin pero wala naman sinabi si dra. na balikan ko or anything. In fact, napakacold na nga nya nung nakausap ko sya bago kami umalis eh. Hay. Never again. Sa hospital na lang ako next time.

Had D&C yesterday due to anembryonic pregnancy. Really sad. But my doctor really took care of me and I didn't feel a thing, ang galing ng anesthesiologist na referral niya. I had spinal anesthesia and was awake the entire time. I didn't feel a thing but I was shivering. Effect ata ng anesthesia. Anyway, medyo nagulat ako kasi same ang PF ng OB ko and anesthesiologist, 12k sila each. Umabot ng 45k ang bill namin sa st lukes. Ok naman pero next time aayusin ko na ang philhealth ko. :p

sis ms. right, i think better talaga sa hospital. wala akong naging problem sa mga supplies. yun nga lang, super late yun doctor ko pero ok lang naman kasi comfortable naman ako sa higaan. mas mahal nga lang pero mas safe rin naman.

I had my d&c due to anembryonic pregnancy as well last dec 28 at SLGC. Total cost was 40k+ (out patient).

I was super scared during prep because i'm really afraid of injections and surgery. Accrding to the nurse manipis daw veins ko so they had a hard time sa paglagay ng dextrose. Their 1st attempt was painful, while the 2nd was ok. The anesthesia was via IV. I was asleep during the entire procedure. When I woke up I was back at the labor room. 1st night I felt pain sa puson and lower back. I was instructed to take a mefenamic acid for the pain. Every now and then I feel pain sa inner thighs, but its tolerable. I'm taking prescribed meds as well. I was instructed not to drive or operate machineries nor lift heavy objects.

Very true sis. Hay, never again talaga. Aayusin ko na rin yung philhealth ko para malaking tulong rin sa bills ko

i had my D&C due to blighted ovum last jan 15-16
wala naman ako naramdaman na kakaiba after that.
except for konting bleeding til now, bale 4 days na.
