Me too, I never buy shoes in ukays because I can't launder those. I have no problem with clothing but when it's shoes... no thanks. My friend has a way of cleaning ukay shoes though and I envy the shoes that she gets at thrift shops, absolutely amazing.

halos wala na akong brand-new na damit.around 90% ukay finds na..and I'm damn proud of them.I like the feeling that I am the only one wearing that dress/top,plus it's complimented by people..

It is nice to get something nice at a low price. But sometimes the tendency is to buy more, even unnecessarily, because it is very cheap. When I go to ukays, my friends and I tend to hoard because it's so cheap. We end up only using half of the things we buy. So I always need to remind myself and ask myself a couple of times if I would actually be using the item more than once, otherwise it is not worth buying.

i havent been to any ukays for the longest time. last ko yatang punta is around 2005 pa. i gained weight kasi and im pretty sure mahihirapan akong humanap ng size. saan ba ok pumunta na may big sizes say mga size 12 to 16?

ako rin mahilig mag UK!!! Marami rin here in Antipolo and sa may Marikina. I bought a sequined bag na mala leopard print ang design for only 100 feysus and may mga blouses ako na worth 50 lang. tyagaan nga lang talaga sa paghahanap.

sis, ako ay isa ring thrifter, and plus size. isa sa attractions sakin ng ukay ay marami akong nakukuhang kasya sakin, kasi diba may american sizes din dun. i especially love the dresses and i even score nightgowns na kasya sakin. unlike sa dept store, unless i buy sa imported, wala kasya sakin. i am size 18-22 kasi sis, depende sa komporme, hehe.... so kung size 16 ka lang,you'll have way more choices.

lately di nako napupunta sa ukayan, dati madalas kami sa tagaytay, ako ang napapagod sa dami ng stores dun, as in. i got a lot of pambahay there, yung sleeveless/spaghetti tops na minsan 20 lang. i also bought shirts na unique and fit me real well.

i sometimes buy bags there but lingerie and shoes are no-nos for me. pero all else, why not choc nut. i once scored leggings there, in 2007, na 50 lang, and i am still using it till now. favorite ba....

hay, namiss ko na ukay, makapunta nga minsan ulet. :-D

I don't know if it's just me pero karamihan ng nakikita kong clothes sa ukay ukay sa may Pasay parang oldschool na kaya nahihirapan akong pumili.
