i've visited a lot of thrift shops last week pero wala akong nattyempuhan na branded clothes. Ask ko lang kung pumupunta kayo dun pag may new arrivals or anytime lang na gusto niyo? Thanks.

Lots of good finds in Las Piñas thrift shops! Got a Lanvin top there. Pricey for a top (Php140) but even without the Lanvin tag, I'd still buy it because of the construction and the material.

I'm thinking of opening an online thrift shop myself.  But I need a good camera first and probably a mannequin. 

I'm in the south and have been going ukay at Alabang.  Medyo madami din dun.

^ yeah, I love the ones in Starmall Alabang! I'm from Las Piñas and I have friends who plan ukay trips to that mall. One got a BCBG jacket, I got a nice silk cropped jacket, a Japanese print shirt, and my other friend scored sundresses.

How do you clean your thrift finds? like let's say for cotton? What about pag silk yung material like chiffon? thanks! What detergent do you use nga pala? and disinfectants kung meron?

^ No matter the material, if it's ukay I dilute Lysol and soak it first. Then handwash if delicate material (silk, chiffon, etc), machine wash for everything else. I usually veer away from those labelled dry clean, but if a garment has that tag, I just hand wash.

  buying clothes in Ukay is really fun!
trendy and  u can easily mix and match agad yung mga clothes n mabi2li m dun.. tygaan lang tlg maghanap. good thing na may mga thrift shop n airconditon kaya no sweats making halungkat!

Nowadays, I just buy my bags, tops, jackets and dresses in Ukay-ukay and Ebay. If I go to malls, I make sure it's during sale period. Kahit sa UK may sale period din and there are some that will text you if sale na sila. (Ex.: Magarbo in Starmall Las Pinas)

But of course if I'm going to buy pants and shoes, I go to the mall (during sale). I think it's obvious naman na kailangan mo talaga ng matibay for everyday use. Example is the Manel's Buy 1 Take 1. Nakabili ako ng leather office shoes. Tama lang na 2 kasi sympre dapat may palitan para hindi kagad maluma.

Also, hindi ako comfortable bumili ng shoes sa UK. No offense sa mga bumibili pero hindi ko rin talaga alam paano malilinis ng maayos.
