help naman sa pagdecide...

im planning to buy living room set next month. gusto ko sana beige na sofa then dark brown/wenge  na tv rack, side and center table. tapos sa throw pillow, beige and orange tsaka orange din na curtain. nagagandahan kasi ako kapag my pop of orange e, ganda ng register sa picture. ok lang ba yung color combination???o mas magand kung cherry wood yung tv rack side and center table? and ano kaya magandang kulay ng wall paint and carpet? TIA!

go for wenge. suggestion ko lang sis sa lighting mo mag warm white ka (yung yellowish) para mag complement sa brown/orange color combi mo... for wall, i'd go for cream... for carpet i'd go for dark tones

thanks, whitebishop. add'l question sana. just in case magsawa na kami sa color ng sala,ano kyang magandang variation? like iba namang kulay ng curtain or throw pillows??? basta ang magiging constant lang e yung wall paint, color ng sofa ,tables and tv rack. slamat ulit.

hindi ako expert sis a pero mahilig lang ako magbasa and am designing details for my future home...

suggestion:
sis orange/brown yung color mo you can mix it with green pampatanggal umay ^_^ or you may use reddisch tones... pero wag mo paghahaluin ang green and red kasi magmumukhang pasko.... lol
i don't think blue and yellow will blend well sa ornage and brown but you can use 1 or two items na blue and yellow just for an accent kung adventurous ka... cream is a safe color for walls... dark colored carpets para hindi mantsahin... i also suggest use lead-free paint and yung may anti microbial (gamit ng hospitals) tapos matte lang ang finish para di mag bounce back ang light keep the warm white lighting

ano ba okay na alternative for granite top sa kitchen counter? mahal kasi eh.okay lang ba yung laminated lang? di ba nagtutuklpa yun. eh wood na lang kaya?

try marble... kaya lang ang difference is reactive sa acid ang marble. Kung wood, magpapalit ka every now and then kasi syempre mababasa ang countertop mo eventually mabubulok ang wood. stone talaga ang ideal for counter top... magpatiles ka na lang sis kung di rin kaya sa budget ang marble

^^i have a laminate kitchen counter top and ok naman so far.
although i have long wanted to change it to granite or engineered stone, hold back muna ako with this project kasi the counter it still serving its purpose so far and bec i dont have a budget for it right now.

going back, ok naman ang laminate. there are a lot of color options you can choose from. its sturdier and easier to maintain than ordinary tiles. kasi pag tiles, i hate to clean the grout lines na nangigitim. 

syempre lang, there are pros and cons of using laminate on your kitchen counter. hindi naman natutuklap actually, but its subject to scouring if you put hot pans/pots directly on it.

I found an antique store sa festival mall ang mura ng furnitures nila. tapos may warehouse sila sa cainta. pwede mag pa customize ng cabinet. balak ko gawing kitchen counter na lang kasi mas mura tingin ko compared sa 24,500 ++ na laminated kitchen counter. Solid wood pa kasi Molave na wood ang gamit. what do you think of a kitchen counter na  solid wood? papa paint ko na duco black. iniisip ko lang hindi ba pwede mabasa ang wood na counter top? In any case, if papalagyan ko na lang ng glass yung counter top, ok lang kaya yun? Hindi naman masyado busy ang kitchen ko, more on lagayan lang talaga ng mga plates at glasses yung loob since nakabili na ako ng stainless compartments. What do you think? Thanks!

^go for waterproof paint para mas matagal ang life ng countertop mo. wood, kahit gaano katigas is prone to rotting pag laging basa.  i don't recommend the glass, pag napatungan sya ng mainit it will just break or nabagsakan prone to crack, pangit lang tignan over time.

^^ Ako I would strongly suggest na maggranite ka nalang. May murang granite ngayon. Jet Black na from Italy would cost you 5k lang 80x210 na yun (cut mo nalang to size siyempre). Or you can opt for China made, may mga 1k+ akong nakikita sa Wilcon. Atleast, it will serve you a very long time. Unlike wood, overtime mabubulok din, esp. hardwood paborito ng anay yan. At mangangamoy pag nabasa, pati nageexpand pag nabasa. Better invest nalang sa granite.

Mga sis we have a very small bathroom.. Parang hindi na pwede lagyan talaga ng shower enclosure kasi limited na yung space between shower and [textspeak!] toilet bowl.. I dont like kasi yung mga curtain.. What will i do

kung gusto mo talaga paghiwalayin bili ka na lang ng vinyl na plastic para divider na mag serve as thin wall between the two.

^^ If tight ang space, definitely, hindi pwede ang enclosure na hinge type, pwede siguro yung slide type na pa curve, kaso set ata yun nabibili. You can opt for glass partition, tempered glass siya na nakaclip sa wall. usually 210x40 pataas ang ideal para hindi mabasa ang toilet bowl. Mas neat tignan as compare with shower curtain.

^Depende sa thickness un sis. Iba iba rin kasi presyo ng mga supplier. Parang less than 3k ata yung pagawa ng client ko sa glass partition niya before. 60x210 yung size, and 10mm thick. I suggest mag canvass ka sa iba't ibang suppliers. And make sure na stainless steel ang clip na gagamitin, para safe.

Sa mga glass/mirror suppliers ka magtanong.

Hi. Im a homemaker and currently preggy. So hiring an id is medyo malabo at this point. However, gusto ko sana paglipat bahay eh ayos na yun place namin. Iniiwasan ko na magpagawa pa pag andyan na si baby.

So help naman kung pano ko eto ma implement. It will be challenging kase admittedly im not artistic. All i have is the bare space, lots of time, very limited funds..
