@sis huit go for granite. the best. ingat lang sa marmol baka sabihin nila granite yun lol

thanks sa mga nagreply. =) gusto ko built in na kasi bihira lang ako sa bahay eh. di ba pag customized or papagawa pa magtatarabaho sila sa bahay ko mismo. eh bihira lang ako dun. hassle naman na pabalik balik sila di ba? usually ba how much ang built in na? yung cheapest sana pero magana. =)

Is it ok na ang floor to ceiling mirror sa living room eh nasa likod ng sofa/couch? Sa lay out kase ng condo namin, wala ko maisip na pwede paglagyan ng mirror na hinde sya haharap sa doors.

You can do the following instead (exposed/upper part of the wall only):

Put framed mirrors in random like a gallery photo wall:

Mga sis ano po ang stucco varnish? Is it a brand of varnish? Nabasa ko kasi sa magazine na yun ang gamit sa cabinet doors and I like the finish.

Yes, it is a kind of finish for wood. Usually on doors, cabintes and furniture. I have a lot of custom made furniture na ducco finish but now, I have it in matte finish na lang. Yun ducco finish ko na tables ang dali magasgas. So i usually have to put a protector under the lamp etc so not to damage the paint.

Mga sis, question naman, saan ba meron okay na kitchen counter, yung affordable naman and for small house lang

hi sis, sana hindi ka pa nagpapagawa ng counter mo. anyway im an architect/contractor naman husband ko, anong size pala ng counterop na kailangan mo? kasi usually kapag small house/ kitchen lang, we don't suggest to buy whole slab granite/ marble. ang ni-susuggest namin is to buy granite/marble (90x60 or 60x60) tiles from wilcon, tsaka na lang gagawing countertop, 50% saving kaagad compared to the whole slab. installation wise, mas madali rin, para ka lang nag-iinstall ng tiles sa flooring. and maganda rin ang outcome.  that's what we use in our condo, kasi nga maliit lang naman kitchen namin.

help naman sa pagdecide...

im planning to buy living room set next month. gusto ko sana beige na sofa then dark brown/wenge  na tv rack, side and center table. tapos sa throw pillow, beige and orange tsaka orange din na curtain. nagagandahan kasi ako kapag my pop of orange e, ganda ng register sa picture. ok lang ba yung color combination???o mas magand kung cherry wood yung tv rack side and center table? and ano kaya magandang kulay ng wall paint and carpet? TIA!

go for wenge. suggestion ko lang sis sa lighting mo mag warm white ka (yung yellowish) para mag complement sa brown/orange color combi mo... for wall, i'd go for cream... for carpet i'd go for dark tones

varnish lang po or laminate. kapag laminate nga lang matatakpan yung details ng wood though may wood feel (details) naman din yung sticker itself.  pag paint po yun ang wala talagang detail ng wood.

papa paint ko rin kase yung wall mounted TV rack namin gusto ko yung dark/chocolate brown na finish ng paint, hindi ko alam kung anong color yun...pero sabi ng pintor namin automotive paint gamitin nya, pati din sa kitchen cabinet namin, semi ducco daw yun, hindi ko lang talaga alam yung exact color na tawag dun, tulad ng mga furniture ngayun sa Our Home

^usually sis pag sa department stores, bare, varnished or laminated ang woods nila. wala ako nakikita na painted furniture. sayang kasi ang pagkawood nya kung pipinturahan din lang. suggestion ko rin sayo sis pag magpapapaint ka piliin mo yung lead free kung pwede yung may antibacterial din para mas safe sa kids. ang pagkakaalam ko mahal ang automotive paint and ginagamit lang sya pag yung object a exposed sa water or extreme heat, otherwise i'd go for the regular paint.

pero personal opinion ko pag wood, varnish ang katapat. mas matrabaho nga lang.
