sorry sis, no idea how high condo ceilings can be, di ko kase alam if sa z-loft type kaba or yung flat square condo, im sure a skillful carpenter can do the work for you 

*how do you find toilets/bathroom using a 60x60 granite? parang it will come out cheaper that the 8x12 tile

^our bathroom's floor and walls are installed with 60x60 travertine tiles. the tile is easier to clean and maintain. i hate it pa naman if the grout in between the tiles becomes muddy kaya ok for me ang 60x60.

re covelight, para less work, just add a fascia (painted, laminated, stained or upholstered) then install T5 lights behind it.

Re: mirrors, ano mas maganda, ceiling to floor or half lang/above the sofa? San sya mas better ilagay, living or dining area? Small kasi yung space ko, around 25sqm lang yung living and dining.

Hi! We recently bough a condo unit. Though turnover is still in 2014, I'm already excited with designing it but I have practically no idea how much it will cost me. Can anyone give an estimate how much it would cost to hire an interior designer? And per square meter ba ang basis ng fee, regardless of design? Or kung mas elaborate yung design na gusto mo, mas mahal din yung designer's fee? I'm not really familiar with design terms pero in layman's term, I'm leaning towards the modern elegant look. Mga magkano kaya designer's fee for that? I understand separate pa ang cost ng mga furnitures and other accents, of course :p Thanks!

^Without seeing the layout, I'd say sa Dining Area. Pwde mo idikit yung dining table sa mirror then put chairs or bench sa other side and sa dalawang end.

Based on the decorating books I've read, they all advised that the mirror should reflect something nice (e.g. garden with flowers or a painting) as it basically creates a second "room" thus giving the illusion of a bigger space.

@mdy, hang the mirror where you want the light be reflected the most (room becomes brighter) or where you want to have the illusion of a bigger space (full length mirror installed on a long narrow hall). this could be in the living or dining area.

^Same here sis. We bought a condo din in Pasig but sa 2014 pa turn over since it's pre-selling. It's small at 32 sqm for a 2-bedroom unit but I'm already compiling design ideas.

The colors that I want are mostly earth tones -- green, brown, peach, yellow. I'm still deciding pa which one will look best for the living room/dining room, master's bedroom. For my daughter's room kase, lavender ang gusto ko. I want sana olive green for the living room but hinde kaya mas lalong magmukhang maliit yung space? My dilemma pa kase is that the windows that face the amenities are located in the bedrooms. So yung living room and dining room, walang window na may panggagalingan ng natural light from outside. What wall color kaya can make the space look spacious and bright? Ayoko lang ng white or beige kase parang ang plain eh.
