IMO, mas ok pa din talaga na may maayos na dining table. what if you have guests na oldies or may back problem? mahihirapan sila umupo sa floor but if you're really hesitant to buy one, buy a console bar counter then bar stools instead:

it eats up less space and it's multi-purpose. you can use it for dining, you can display your decors, stack books or patunga for your supplies.

Hindi ok sa akin ang folding table. I am moving to a small condo unit kasi and I want to use the space talaga and most of the folding tables available sa atin hindi kagandahan hehe yung natatayo naman na table, ganun din sana gusto ko pero walang binebentang ganyan sa atin.

Yung console sana sa Ikea na nacoconvert sa table ang bibilhin ko pero I cannot really justify the price. It was 8500 for a very simple table. Kaya eto naguguluhan talaga ako haha ang bibisita lang naman na matanda sa akin eh parents ko, the rest, ka-age ko na haha

i guess nasa preference na talaga ng user yung furniture pieces. Kung sabagay, ako nga kumakain sa sofa sa harap ng tv using a bowl

never ako kumain sa dining table, minsan sa computer table while working *hehe*

I guess coffee table would be fine. Provide throw pillows na nga lang. if you don't mind, ilang square meters yung area?

I am torn between apo's mimicri vinyl and tiles for the bedroom. Yung vinyl kasi mas mura and mukhang maganda naman yung natural oak color. Pero kasi my husband wants tiles for the bedroom. Kung tiles, anong color and size ang maganda to create a homey ambiance?

Then buy floor pillows. I saw nice ones sa Our Home compared to SM Dept. Store. I was thinking of using the coffee table as a study table as well para yung space na naka-allot sa study table, magagamitan ko pa ng iba.

I have another question. I am planning on putting a huge mirror (the size of the wall), pwede kaya or maganda kaya patungan/lagyan ng framed photos? Ibig sabihin nakapatong yung framed photos sa mirror.

Mdy, meron sa home depot na tiles na mukang wooden planks. I think sa wilcon builders ako nakakita nun. Pwde din yung rectangular ones basta yung wood design. Meron din pala si White Horse na 60x60cm na tiles na mukhang wood.

^old trick for making small spaces look bigger is by using mirrors so good idea yung maglagay ka ng floor to ceiling mirror or a big mirror that you can buy from home department of SM. If papatungan mo ng frames, ok din but how would you mount it? If by hook for sure mababasag yun. There are special cutting tools for cutting or making holes for mirrors and glass. If using a velcro, makiita yun sa mirror kasi it's a reflective material and i tried mounting frames on wall, bumabagsak eventually except yung very small frames. If you want the effect of a wall gallery of frames, you can use mirrors inside the frames instead of photos.

^I was thinking of using yung Command Strips but I guess makikita nga yung sa likuran ng mirror haha Gusto ko kasi magamit yung space talaga so either a big mirror or shelves nalang ilalagay ko para makalagay ako ng photos din. Dun kasi sa space na yun nakalagay yung sofa and an end table and lamp shade. Iniisip ko ano ang maganda ilagay sa likod niya, mirror or wall gallery na frames or both or shelves.

Heatherette, bihira talaga makakita ng mirror na sakto sa wall, pa-customized mo na lang sa glass and mirror supplier.

cindylulu, uhmm if ready made na, wala ako alam sis. lagi ako nagpapa-customized para fit sa space and sa requirements ko. A carpenter can do it naman, basta may compressor sila para ducco finish, yun yung painted na semi-gloss na even and smooth yung surface. if brush lang, hindi maganda kasi makikita mo yung brush strokes.

^^Pareho pala tayo sis! Nagpunta din ako ng ACE Hardware at wala nga sila nung white, puro laminated na brown and black and meron sila. Ayaw ko ng ganung laminated kasi lumulubo yun.

Last question nalang, I decided shelves nalang ilalagay ko para malagyan ko rin yung wall ng wall decal. Saan ko kaya pwede i-incorporate ang mirror?

^Onga eh. Maganda talaga kung wood ang gagamitin. Di talaga ako fan ng laminated.

My uncle built yung floating shelves sa room ng brother ko, hindi shiny pero dahil alam ko na na ducco finish pala yun, ok na haha May spray din kami, yun din sinuggest ng uncle ko instead of using paint brush.

cindylulu, any solid wood furniture maker can do that also, although meron ako na-encounter na hindi nila specialty yung ducco finish and kinda hindi maganda yung pinagawa ko na items. better if you ask for sample works of ducco finish to gauge if ok sila gumawa or not.

Heatherette, i guess you can put a small framed mirror on top of the shelves behind the decors na ilalagay mo sa shelves then the decals would be around it or make square shelves and mirror inside.

Do you know where I can buy framed mirror? Gusto ko sana yung vintage-y yung feel niya then mix ko rin with simple na square na frames.

I decided to go with shelves nalang then framed mirror sa shelves instead of a wall mirror dahil nga dun sa nangingitim, kaka-stress pag nangyari yun haha

Meron naman sa SM Homeworld, Our Home, Balintawak Home Depot (baka meron din sa Ortigas Home Depot) and Dimensione. You can have it custom-made sa mga framing strores. Makakapili ka pa ng size and color.
