We use LG drum type. So far, ok naman. I make sure though to use laundry nets.

I want to buy a front loading machine too for when we move to our condo. Small space kase talaga. LG I think is a good brand.

Sis, what do you mean? Like if we do batches or just throw everything in?

Ako kasi i do batches - whites and colors.

Then i further sort them accdg to material or texture. Kasi you cant mix thick materials with thin ones. Masisira yung malipis... I turn my jeans inside out to minimize fading.

For delicates, i use a wash bag.

And i only use liquid detergent (woolite). Btw for colors i use a dye catcher sheet, in case some colors bleed. And i dont use the heavy cycle kasi i think its too harsh. Tsaka di naman talaga dirty yung mga clothes ko.

(By batch din lagay ko sa dryer and i only use low heat, even for jeans.)

Its kinda spendy kaya i cut the sheet in two. Haha. And sometimes i even reuse it. Pag "puno" na sya, it really looks dark... I specially use it when i wash new clothes kasi for sure mag bleed eh.

Meron din reusable kind, parang face towel but i forgot the brand. Sa US ko din binili. Good sya for 30 washes.

^ no problem, sis. It really works... Sa tv ad nga nila you can wash whites and colors together in 1 load. But i'd rather not. And i wont recommend it lalo na if favorite clothes natin. Takot pa rin ako maski paano. Hehe... Kung pambahay clothes lang, pwede pa.

Hi, girls! Haay, buong gabi ko binasa ang thread na 'to but it's so worth it! ...  Galing kasi ako SM kanina, hanap rin ng bagong washing machine... at first, medyo hesitant akong bumili ng automatic kasi nga maaksaya DAW sa tubig ...  pero I came home interested to buy the Samsung 8kg automatic, based na rin sa info from the sales assistant... Kaya i told myself that i'll do my research muna... and I just came to the right source, YOU! After reading this thread, i'm convinced that it would be a good choice (fingers crossed, hehe)!  Thank you sooo much for all the info... Wish me luck!

haloo sises hindi maaksaya sa water and electricity ang wm. kasi nung wala na akong house helper halos 3x to 4x a week ako nag wm and ilang beses pa un... plus water hindi naman tumaas mas bumaba pa... hehe ewan ko lang kung bakit?? expected ko nga na tataas bill namin.. ndi naman.

Yung whirlpool ko na washing machine 13kg bago pa nung nabili ko nasira agad yung dryer. Eh di pinarepair ko sa kanila twice dahil pasok pa sa warranty. The third time nasira na naman. Pinacheck ko sa kanila sabi kelangan na daw may palitan na part. Magbayad daw ako ng 750. Sabi ko My warranty pa yan. Tapos I gave him my receipt. Sabi niya babalik daw siya. When he came back wala naman siyang dalang "part" Di ko alam ang ginawa niya after 4 days lang sira ulit. Alam ko di niya pinalitan yung part na sinsabi niya. So until now sira pa din yung dryer ko. Ayaw ko na ipagawa sa kanila. Bwiset na mga warranty yan! Dito lang di masunod sunod yang warranty na yan bulok.

^that's so unfair, sis! wala bang manager that can take your call? ask for one and tell the manager they have to change the part.

I didn't buy Whirlpool kasi hassle for me to get a transformer, etc so I ended up buying a Speed Queen (yun yata ang brand.. nitatamad a ko lumabas..hihi). Okay naman. Ilang years na sa akin. Ngayon wala na akong warranty, hindi ako sa service center tumatawag. May go to guy kami for washing machines and dryers.

pag naglaba ako, hiwalay ang white at light colored kasi binababad ko pa yan sa WM overnight or atleast for 6hours, bago ko ituloy magwash.

next batch, yung dark colored naman.

next batch, yung towels naman. binababad ko din yan, for atleast 1hour.

hiwalay din ang jeans at mga shorts na dark colored. may settings ang WM namin for jeans. pero hindi ko sineset dito kasi maaksaya sa tubig. dalawang beses siya nagririnse. pwede na yung default na program lang.

bedsheets, pillowcase. binababad ko din, for atleast 1hour.

yung mga underwear and bras, any color, nakalagay palagi sa laundry net. isasama ko lang kahit saan batch.

nililinis ko din palagi yung lint filter every time magloload ako sa WM.

^kung may spin dryer naman, konting sampay nalang siguro yan. hindi ko kasi kabisado ang front load. puro top load kasi WM namin.

thanks for the responses may effect ba kung ilalagay yung WM sa labas ng bahay pero may roof naman. sabi kasi ng officemate ko madali daw masira pag di mismo sa loob ng bahay nakalagay [textspeak!] WM.

^ im not 100% sure but i may have to agree with your officemate. Baka the extreme temperatures can affect the electronics.

Kami kasi nasa loob ng house, sa may laundry room talaga. So mas stable ang temps vs pag nasa labas ng house.

yung wm namin sa labas ng bahay nakalagay and madali syang mag rust, so i wouldn't recommend ilagay sa labas ng bahay kahit na may bubong pa at di nababasa kasi sa amin ganon.
