mga sisses, what i remembered before when my previous OB told me that i had retroverted uterus and i was TTC was it is recommended that the BD position will be the rear entrance dahil daw mas mafafacilitate ang pagflow ng mga spermies to the uterus with this style as compared to missionary.

sabi ng OB ko nababago daw position ng uterus over time. kung lagi kang nakaupo, nakaslouch, nakahiga, etc.. it affects daw. maybe that's the reason retro becomes ante or vice versa. i also wonder if hilot can help "arrange" our uterus.

I'll ask nga to my ob gyne pag ka tvu ko so kung umiikot ang uterus kelan lang ito umiikot or changing position?

^ i think d talaga umiikot yung uterus. search mo sis kung ano talaga yung hitsura ng uterus. it's like something na nakahiga or nakasandal sa other parts ng pelvic area mo. so kung anong ginagawa mo, humihiga, nakaupo nakaslouch, naka bend, it moves. better ask your ob na lang sis kung d mo mashado ma-gets yung sinasabi ko. malabo rin ako mag explain eh. heheh. pasensya na.

Pwede pala yun na maging retroverted ako. Hmm.. sabi ng ob gyne ko last time hirap daw manganak yung mga retroverted.

I'm 27 years old naman & ako nagsisisi ako dahil ngayon ko lang to pinapatreatment tagal nako pcos. If you are worried sis mas maganda if patreat mo na if you have pcos kasi talagang mahihirapan ka kung di mo ipatreat ako ngayon lang nagpapatreat hirap magkababy.

not necessary naman if you want to treat your pcos you need to take medication.

my ob advised my to start treating my pcos when i already want to get pregnant.

if you want sis to get pregnant tell your ob gyne to give you a fertility pill kasi everytime i go to the doctor my ob is always asking me if i want to get pregnant.

^ yeah. pero sabi ko discuss na lang namin yun if gsuto ko na talaga. in two years pa naman balak ko.. but she really made clear to me that have retro uterus, d mahirap magbuntis. and having pcos doesn't mean na mahirapan ka magbuntis always. again, d nagi-gauge yung impact ng pcos in conceiving unless trying to conceive ka nga. she told me, 6 months before trying to get pregnant, bigyan lang niya ako ng folic acid.

^I'm taking folic acid right now. Kung sa bagay iba iba kasi opinion ng mga ob gyne yung iba sabi hindi yung iba sabi oo. Bakit ako trying to concieve talaga ako dati for 5 years natural ako & then after 5 years lang ako nagkapregnant ganon ako nun kahirap magconcieve dahil i didn't know i have pcos pala tagal na. Ngayon hirap ulit ako magkababy pero if im going to get pregnant hindi na yung natural way.

^^ yeah. maybe ganun nga sis. it's always the pcos that affects conceiving and not by having retroverted uterus.

sis ieya, yung anteverted is the normal position ng uterus which means your uterus is slightly tilted forward while retroverted is tilting backward.  at meron naman daw na midposition uterus na neither tilting backward or forward. most women have anteverted uterus.  hope this answers your question.

i agree with sis freeswan, yung hirap ng pagbubuntis should not be attributed to the position of the uterus.

^ not true. because your uterus is not the one producing the eggs. uterus is just the place where you can hold your child so the only risk you coud get from being retro is difficult pregnancy but not difficult in conceiving.

Treatment for A Retroverted Uterus

If your retroverted uterus is causing you a lot of pain or discomfort, you may want to consider treatment for the condition. Treatment options include:

Exercises: Women can perform knee-to-chest exercise in order to encourage the uterus to slip back into its proper place. Unfortunately, this tends to be a temporary solution for the problem.

Pessaries: A pessary is a plastic device that is worn inside of the vagina. It helps to support the uterus in the proper position. However, these devices can only be worn in the short term because of the risk for developing a vaginal infection.

Surgery: Surgery for a retroverted uterus is available. Known as the UPLIFT procedure, this procedure works to reposition the uterus by cutting and shortening the ligaments that support it. UPLIFT is a laparoscopic surgery that is performed with the aid of a small camera.

as my OB suggested, exercise is a way to correct retro uterus.
