my friend had them sent over from US. got it for 30k coz of the 6 cel.

here in Pinas. 30k is for nb200. 3 cel only.

alcohol 120 is better, but license. So i use virtual drive from howtogeek. Its a free program for mounting iso images and the like. Works great like alcohol.

since di naman nagkakalayo ang prices ng netbooks sa shops, ito ang mashshare ko.

PC CORNER / PC QUARTERS (offers the cheapest KAYA lang.. rumor has it na pinapalitan kasi nila ng cheaper alternatives yung mga internal parts ng binebenta nila kaya mura.) they have a branch sa Gilmore.

I also want Toshiba netbook. Ok yung specs nya for a netbook and aesthetically speaking, nice yung design. From 29k+, nasa 26k+ na lang ngayon. Kaso ayaw ni hubby ng maliit, so we ended up buying Toshiba Satellite L510. Affordable din for the specs, and hubby is a fan of Toshiba.

toshiba nb200 is available in the philippines. nb205 is for US market.

26k na lang pala siya dito. i'm sure it's only 3cel. i think they only sell 6cel in the US. sadly, hindi priority market ng toshiba and pinas.

i'm just lucky i know someone who can buy me the laptop from US.

i would've bought hp, but it has only max of 5-6 hours yata na battery life. i chose toshiba for it's durability
and very convenient talaga its long batt life.

ASUS EEEPC 1005HA ( SEASHELL INSPIRED )
acer aspire one yung 8.1 inches
toshiba n205

ano po ba ang pinaka-ok. need ko mga 6 cell battery na netbook-hindi madalaing mag init and matibay gusto ko din cute mas Ok din po kung pink,lahat naman po ata nung nabanggit ko may pink.for browsing lang naman po and hanggang 25k lang po ang budget.TIA

But for now i have my eye on lenovo s12 or asus 1201N. Ion ready na kasi & 12inch, though di pa ata available dito sa pinas kaya papabili na lang ako abroad.

you need a virtual drive since netbooks dont come with optical drives, thus, you cannot read CDs on them. with the help of a usb thumbdrive and by converting a CD to a disc image format such as .iso, you could install programs and whatnot from CDs,

Lenovo is a trusted brand for sturdiness, though unlike the s10, the s10-2 sports a less sturdy set of hinges. Yung pink din nila is more of like purple.

1005ha is a winner in terms of battery life and cuteness. im typing with one right now.

an 8" acer aspire one has a cramped keyboard and tiny screen.

a toshi n205 is good too.
